Zeref stood in the stadium filled to the brim with civilians and Ninjas alike. There was no sign of Sasuke, Naruto, or dosu, not that Zeref cared about the last one.

He looked next to him to see Hinata shaking in fear. Though the bandages on her arms confirmed she trained hard.

Zeref could also see Neji glaring at her from the corner of his eye, the first match would no doubt be brutal.

Naruto soon rushed in screaming about bulls, but everyone (wisely) chose to ignore him.

Even though Sasuke was no where to be seen it was time for the matches to begin.

"First match, Hinata Vs Neji" Genma announced.

Everyone went to the stands except for Hinata and Neji. If Zeref didn't know any better he probably would have claimed that this match was set up by some idiotic higher power. (Hey, I just give what the readers want!)

He would have preferred to be the one to fight Neji, but Zeref has faith in his sparing partner, after all, Hinata managed to pin him down a few times.

Standing across from each other in their battle stances, Neji held one of power, confidence and pride. While Hinata held one of worry, fear, and shame.

Civilians wouldn't be able to tell the difference but every Shinobi watching the match could see that if Hinata didn't have more confidence it was almost a guaranteed loss.

"This is bad" Zeref muttered, he watched the two like a hawk, his eyes not once glancing away from the Hyugas below.

"What's bad?" Naruto asks.

"Hinata has no confidence in herself. If she thinks like that she will lose." Katsu explained.

The two stood for a while, they were talking but only those with good hearing could hear them, clearly while to everyone else it sounded like whispering.

"What's happening?" Naruto asked but everyone shushed him.

"Byakugan!" Neji shouted, veins appeared around his eyes and they seemed sharper than before.

Looking into Neji's eyes Hinata was frozen with fear. She could see the anger in them, the hatred, and it scared her to no end.

"You can't fool my eyes" Neji said.

Zeref could only hear it clearly thanks to his now enhanced hearing.

"You cannot change..." Neji said.

"You Can!" Naruto shouted.

Everyone's eyes were on Naruto.

"Beat him up, Hinata!" Naruto shouted once again.

Hinata's eyes shifted from fear to confidence.

"Byakugan!" She shouted.

Zeref gave a small smirk.

"Nii-San let's fight" she said.

Neji stood in his own battle stance.

And just like that the two rushed to eachother and attacked.

For a while it looked like they were on even grounds just trading blows and each of them blocking them.

Hinata managed to graze Neji which forced him to halt in his steps.

They went at it again and Hinata grazed him once more.

And again only for them both to land a solid blow.

Everyone watched in silence.

After a standstill Hinata coughed up blood.

She pushed Neji away to attack again, only for Neji to dodge, grab her arm and hit a Chakra point. He lifted up her sleeve to reveal the damage he had done to her arm.

Zeref's eyes widened at the sight.

He powered on his Sharingan and saw that Hinata's Chakra flow had been badly disrupted.

"My eyes can see the tenketsu." Neji announced.

With another strong blow to the chest, Neji knocked Hinata back a few feet.

Hinata stood up but was off balance and badly damaged.

"This is the unchangeable reality." Neji said.

Hinata coughed up more blood and Neji got back into his battle stance.

Katsu barley noticed, but Zeref was twitching. His pitch black eyes looked cold while staring at the fight, but the slight twitch of his right hand and eye, told Katsu that the boy was ready to intervene.

"Hinata! Do your best!" Naruto shouted, before she once again rushed back into the fight.

Once again the two exchanged blows, both dodging, blocking or countering the others attacks, from low sweeps to flips the two went at it.

Hinata went to land a strong blow, but Neji blocked and hit under her chin sending her back.

Neisho's eyes widened at that, and that made Zeref twitch once more.

Rushing back in once more, Neji had enough and landed a Gentle fist strike in the centre of her chest.

Hinata coughed up blood once more before falling to the ground, and Zeref saw the look of defeat in her eyes.

"I'm assuming she can no longer fight" Genma said.

"No!" Zeref said standing.

Everyone looked at the boy.

His eyes were sharp and angry, but his face was bland.

"Don't stop the match" Zeref continued.

Hinata once again stood up, although very wobbly.

"Hinata!" Zeref shouted.

Said girl looked up to him.

"You can do this. Stay calm and remember our training. Or was those three years wasted. Your not weak... so don't give up." Zeref announced.

She looked Into his eyes and saw that he believed In her.

"You've got this, Hinata" he said.

Hinata had a new look in her eyes, on she should have had from the start, pride, and confidence.

Hinata got back onto her battle stance although this once was different from the usual Hyuga stance.

Neji gritted his teeth, angered that Hinata wouldn't stay down, he rushed at her determined to make sure she wouldn't get up, only this time he missed, and Hinata landed a powerful blow that knocked him back.

"What just happened?" Naruto asked.

"She's using a different fighting style" Neisho explained.

The two rushed at eachother once more, but Hinata was faster than before.

"The style looks kinda like..." Neisho started.

"The Uchiha style, I know, because I fused the Hyuga and Uchiha style to teach it to Hinata" Zeref finished his thought.

Everyone looked at the boy in shock.

"Hinata needed something that would help her with speed, but still allow her to give powerful blows, and fusing the fighting styles worked perfectly." Zeref explained.

They watched the fight once more to see Hinata moving faster than she was before.

They continued to exchanged blows, before Hinata went for a low kick, before flipping over Neji's head, and Gently fisting him in the back sending him forward.

Neji stood up with blood dripping down his mouth and rage in his eyes.

"Impossible, your fate is unchangeable, you are destined to lose. So how do you still fight!?" Neji shouted enraged, he too was wobbly.

Hinata Charged at him once more, before he pulled out the 64 palms Rotation sending Hinata flying back.

"That move... impossible!!" The Hyuga head shouted.

"Everything is impossible, until someone makes it possible" Neisho said.

Watching the fight, it continued to go back and forth for a while but everyone knew Hinata was quickly running out of steam.

"Enough, I will ensure your defeat" Neji announced.

Hinata Charged at him.

"Gentle fist art: 8 Triagrams, 64 palms" Nejis said.

Hitting Hinata over and over she was left helpless.

"2 palms " he hits.

"4 palms" he hits.

"8 palms" again.

"16 palms"

"32 palms" he was getting faster.

"64 palms!" He shouted landing the final blow on her heart.

Hinata fell to the ground once more, and all was silent.

"I told you, destiny is absolute" Neji said.

Genma was once again about to announce the winner but Hinata by some miracle started to stand up.

"Impossible, you should be unconscious! How are you standing!" He shouted.

"Zeref... s-showed me a- a great trick... I-I-if you layer y-yourself with c-chakra, you can, c-c-create a thin l-layer of a-armour." Hinata explained, coughing up more blood.

Taking a deep breath the two took one last charge.

Neji went straight for Hinata's heart.

Hinata used the speed from her new stance to dodge and returned his hit with her own hit to his heart.

With a strength that no one knew, Hinata sent Neji flying back to the other side of the stadium.

She limped over to the boy who could no longer move, who was watching the birds fly above.

"How? You should have lost. How did you change it?" Neji asked.

"People bend destiny, destiny doesn't bend people. I got help from everyone, and courage from those I trust." Hinata explained not stuttering for once.

"I just wanted to be free from the Hyuga curse, the same one that killed my father" Neji said.

"Your, father died protecting his brother, not because he was a branch house member, and I know because I was there" Zeref explained.

Neji gave a small smile to the birds above.

"I see. "

"Neji- Nii, let's start over and we can both decide our own destinies." Hinata said.

"I would like that..." the boy replied passing out.

"Neji Hyuga is unable to battle. Hinata Hyuga wins!" Genma shouted.

The crowd burst into cheers, as the female Hyuga fell to the ground in exhaustion.

Both Hyuga were taken to the infirmary to recover.

The crowd went silent while waiting for the next match.

"Next Sasuke Vs Kitsuo"

Kitsuo made her way down but Sasuke was no where to be seen.

After a minute went by Genma made and announcement.

"Sasuke Uchiha has 10 Minutes before he is disqualified!" Genma shouted.

The crowd threw a fit as they came to see the two Uchiha's fight.

"He's late" Zeref muttered with gritted teeth.

In a hidden anger Zeref summoned Ryu.

"What's up Zeref?" Ryu asked.

"Ryu, can you find, Kakashi and Sasuke. When you find them tell them they have 1 minute to get here before Sasuke is disqualified " Zeref said.

"Aye" Ryu said, flying off.

"Why did you lie, they have about 9 minutes?" Naruto asked.

"Like I'll tell them that so that they can be more late than they already are." Zeref said.

In around 5 minutes Sasuke and Kakashi appeared in the ring, with Ryu on Kakashi's head.

"We're not late are we?" Kakashi asked.

"You were cutting it close, Hatake" Genma said.

Kakashi went to stand with the students, while Sasuke, with his new outfit stood opposite Kitsuo.

"So how did Hinata's match go?" Kakashi asked.

"I hate you" Zeref said.

"Ok, sensing some hostility" Kakashi said pulling out his book.

"Hn"

The match begun and the two ran at eachother.

They exchanged blows before, Kitsuo was about to blast a fireball, however Sasuke knew this since he had his Sharingan on.

Before Kitsuo could finish the signs, Sasuke punched her in the stomach sending her flying into the air.

Sasuke then jumped after her, before axe kicking her back down to the ground.

He used his own Fireball, setting Kitsuo on fire before finishing her off with a Chidori to the shoulder.

This didn't kill her, but there was a slim, very slim chance of her getting up as he just missed her lungs.

Once the dust was clear, Kitsuo was on the ground in a small crater bleeding out.

"Kitsuo is unconscious, Sasuke wins" Genma announced.

Once again the crowds broke into cheers as the Iwa female was taken away to the infirmary.

"The lighting move was a little extra don't you think?" Naruto said.

"Hn" was the response he got.

"Get off your high horse, Sasuke, we all know you just wanted to test out your new Jutsu" Zeref said rubbing his temples. Ryu was fast asleep on his lap.

The rest of the Genins started to laugh at the boy who was now blushing, but looked away to hide it.

"Next match, Kankuro Vs Shino"

However before Shino could even make it to the stairs Kankuro stood up.

"I forfeit!" He shouted.

Everyone looked at him in Shock, while all Shinobi looked at him in Suspicion.

After a moment of silence, Shino sat back down.

"Kankuro Forfeits, Shino is the automatic winner." Genma says.

Zeref Narrows his eyes at the Suna nin and notices that he was fijiting, as if he was expecting something.

"Next match Temari Vs Shikamaru" Genma says.

"How troublesome, I don't wanna fight a girl" Shikamaru mutters looking over the railing.

"Oh come on Shikamaru, you got this!" Narutp shouts slapping the boys back, which sent him over the rail and plummeting into the arena.

"Oops, Sorry!" Naruto shouts down to the boy, who seemed to have no motivation to get up.

Shikamaru stands up while muttering about how troublesome everything is, before standing across from Temari, who looked very cocky.

The match started and Temari used her Wind manipulation to keep Shikimaru at bay.

Shikamaru kept dodging, before allowing one Jutsu to hit the ground near him to create a smoke screen.

Temari blew it away but Shikamaru was already gone.

"Get out here you coward!" Temari shouted scanning the area.

Shikamaru who was hiding behind a tree near the edge gave a sigh, he was tired, and he was running low on Chakra, he needed to end this soon.

Using some Chakra strings he borrowed from Zeref, he triggered a Kunai that made Temari attack the opposite end of the stadium.

Using her moment of confusion to his advantage he captured Temari, using his Shadow, right as she turned around.

The two were locked in a standstill, before Shikamaru released her and held his hands up.

"I forfeit" he said.

The crowd was shocked.

"Why!!" Naruto shouted.

"How troublesome, I'm low on Chakra, and I'm tired. I also don't want to hurt a girl" Shikamaru said, whispering his last reason.

Genma sighed at another Forfeit.

"Shikamaru has Forfeit, Temari is the winner." Genma said.

The two Shinobi went back to their teams.

"Next match, Katsu Vs Do-" Genma was cut off by a Shinobo who jumped next to him and whispered in his ear, Genma sighed before nodding and waving off the Chunin.

"Dosu, has been found dead, the next match is Katsu Vs Naruto" Genma relayed the information told to him.

The two boys went down to the arena.

"Who do you think is winning this?" Kiba asked.

"Katsu" Sasuke said.

"Katsu" Choji said.

"Don't care" Shikamaru yawned.

"Naruto might win this one" Zeref said.

Everyone looked at him.

"Really?" Kiba asked.

"They are both strong, and both do close range. Katsu is a Kenjutsu Specialist while Naruto is a more Ninjitsu Specialist, but they both prefer close range. This will be a battle of Stamina, Chakra and willpower, which Naruto has a surplus of all three." Zeref explained.

The more everyone thought about it, the more they realised, Zeref was right.

The match begun and Naruto immediately made 10 Shadowclones all who Surrounded Katsu, who pulled out his Sword.

Zeref had no idea, what he and Neisho were training on so he was ready for anything.

The clones all jumped at Katsu who defeated them one by one, by slashing, or kicking them into eachother.

Naruto made a clone to fling him towards Katsu.

"Earth style: Mud wall!"

Naruto slammed head first into the mud wall, before his clones stepped in to defend him from Katsu.

The two exchanged blows, Kunai to sword, before Katsu flung a boulder at Naruto.

He then used his earth, to harden his sword to make it stronger, but heavier.

Swinging down on Naruto, who only just managed to roll out of the way, Katsu left a clear crater in the arena.

Naruto rushed at Katsu before getting batted back.

Naruto turned out to be a clone that puffed out of existence. The real Naruto came from underground, enforcing his fist with Chakra Naruto landed a hit on Katsu's Chin that sent him flying into the air.

Naruto jumped after him and summed around a thunder Shadowclones.

"Uzumaki barrage!" He shouted pounding Katsu back onto the ground.

Naruto, who was bleeding slightly, wobbly stood up.

Katsu, was out cold.

"Katsu is unconscious, Naruto wins!" Genma shouted.

The crowds Cheered for the boy in Orange who looked around him in awe.

They carried Katsu to the infirmary while Naruto went back to his team.

"Well done Naruto!" Kakashi said.

"I didn't think you would win" Kiba said.

"You Jerk!" Naruto shouted.

"Final round! Zeref Vs Gaara" Genma announced.

Dissapearing in sand, Gaara appeared in the arena.

Zeref did the same, only leaving behined leafs.

The two stood across from eachother in silence.

Kakashi, stared at the arena intently, along with the other Jounin.

"What's up Sensei?" Naruto asked.

"Both of them are releasing K.I" Kakashi said.

"Meaning?" Sakura asked.

"Their aiming to either, Severely damage, or..." Kakashi trailed off.

"Or?" Sasuke asked.

"Or to kill" Neisho finished.

Every Ninja in the arena could feel the waves of K.I flowing off of the boys.

Genma wasn't 100% sure he wanted to say begin.

"...Begin!" Genma shouted body flickering out of the arena.

But the boys did nothing.

"You said full power" Gaara said.

"And I ment it" Zeref said.

"Take them off" Gaara said.

"Them?" Sakura asked.

"Neisho any ideas?" Asuma asked.

"He said full power, so he might mean, Zeref's weights" Neisho said.

.

"Zeref wears weights?" Naruto asked.

Everyone sighed at the boys stupidity.

"Hn..." Zeref said looking up.

"Take them off Zeref!" Gaara said louder.

Zeref sighed and went to the edge of the arena.

He took of his Short sleeve jacket and put it to the side.

He then struggled to get his long sleeve shirt off.

"Is Zeref struggling to get a Shirt off?" Shikamaru asked.

The question went unanswered when Zeref finally got it off and dropped it onto the ground that cracked the ground.

He then took of the headband, under his leaf one, and dropped it on the pile.

Next was the two weights on his arms, then his Ninja Sandles, before finally the legs around his legs.

When he was done there was a crater under his clothes.

He summoned a pair of Normal Sandles and put them on, before covering his toned Shirtless body with his short sleeved jacket.

He rolled his arms and neck before standing back infront of Gaara. The whole crowd had their mouths wide open.

"Better?" Zeref asked.

Gaara nodded.

"No holding back" Gaara said.

"No holding back" Zeref confirmed.

In a flash too fast for most to see Zeref appeared in front of Gaara, his Sharingan blazing, as he punched him.

The sand appeared just in time to block but the strength behined his punch created a small gust of wind.

As Zeref ran behined Gaara, he left a Kunai in his previous spot.

Zeref repeaded this process, before he suddenly started flashing all around Gaara, from Kunai to Kunai.

Zeref was teleporting now and Gaara's sand could no longer keep up.

Zeref finally landed a hit that sent Gaara flying.

Zeref ran behined him to Kick Gaara back to the other side.

Gaara was about to grab Zeref with his sand, but Zeref saw it with his Sharingan and jumped onto the sand.

Zeref then ran to Gaara on his sand, at a speed that Gaara couldn't capture.

Zeref grabbed Gaara's shirt, and spun him around for two seconds before throwing him up into the air.

Gaara, tried using his sand to capture Zeref but he once again dodged.

Zeref the pulled out is Sword and enforced it with wind, which made it sharper. Jumping up to the ball of Sand that Gaara covered himself in Zeref sliced the whole thing on half only to reveal a sand clone.

Zeref saw Gaara on the other side of the arena still standing there with his arms crossed.

Another Zeref came from the ground beneath Gaara and punched him back into the air.

Now there were two Zeref's, one above Gaara and one below.

"Wind style: Wind Hurricane!" The Zeref on the ground Shouted.

This created a Hurricane surrounding Gaara.

"Fire style: Great Fire ball Jutsu!" The Zeref above shouted.

This turned the wind Hurricane into a harsh Fire Hurricane, Surrounding Gaara.

With Gaara's sand defence melting, at the high temperature, the Zeref above, who turned out to be the real one summoned 5 more clones, who all got flung down to Gaara.

They all together finally Shattered, Gaara's sand defense, and The real Zeref drove his sword into Gaara's Shoulder.

Everyone on the outside couldn't see anything, but when they heard a scream of pain, everyone looked worried.

The fire Hurricane dissapeared showing Zeref pinning Gaara down with his sword driving through his left Shoulder.

Kankuro and Temari looked worried, shocked and Scared, for and of their brother.

"My blood! It's my blood!!" Gaara Shouted.

Zeref pulled his sword out and backed away as sand tried to attack him.

A smoke bomb went off in the Kage box, and feathers started to fall down from the sky.

"Kai" Zeref said, instantly getting rid of the Genjutsu.

Kankuro and Temari took off with Gaara.

Zeref made a clone to chase after them, while he stood on top of the arena watching over the attack.

"This is perfect" He muttered.

This would be his only chance to get the information he needed.

Sending two clones to the Kage's office to get information on, the Uchiha, Shisui and Itachi, Zeref replaced himself with the clone that went after the sand siblings and continued the pursuit.

This was going to be a long night.

Hey guys, how did I do, god writing this was a pain in the ass. Hope you guys enjoyed.

The next arc, the Konoha crush is also gonna be a pain in the behined to write but it will be done.

Were going all the way to the end of Naruto with this book, not Shippuden, that might be done in a different book.
