Delilah's POV:

Three sleepless nights, three teardrops in my pillow at three in the morning. I wouldn't consider that as angel numbers since my head hurts from crying.

Is that really all I am? Just a bet? But it felt so real.. Guess he's a great player huh.. I need to sleep, I have to buy a dress for the prom I'm going later night.

“WAKE UP PRINCESSS”  Anthony said

“five more minutes! ” I replied

“Trina's here!!”

After I heard that I didn't hesitate to jump out off my bed and go downstairs. She's eating toast with mom.

“There you aree” she said and hugged me, moments later she pull out and look at me wuth confused eyebrows

“Woah what happened to your eyes, they're.. all so puffy, wait, hold up, did you-? Wait- hey- who made you cry? ” She freaked out and took a deep breath

“Is it Wyler? ” A voice from behind caught my attention

“what's up Mr. Smith? Having a cup of coffee daddy? ” Trina said and I nudge her. She thinks dad is hot look like a movie star and well he is.

“Dad” i walk up to him and hugged him 

“Hey sweetheart ” he said and kissed my forehead

I pull out and look down “well, yeah it's him but so what? I lived without him right? I could survive without him”

Suddenly Anthony came rushing down to us and hand me a letter. My eyes widen as I saw where it is from. It's from Paris, they said later at 10 pm I could ride a ship to France to continue my performing. Maybe I should perfom again, since I need a little distraction.

Trina and I goes to the mall to shop for the prom tonight, we tried a few dresses on and eventually picked the one we liked and move on to picking accessories and purses.

Jake's POV:

Shopping with Catherine couldn't be any worse, she flirts with everyone and eventually lead them to the changing area where she would fucked them up and I have to wait for minutes

I sat to the nearest chair, sigh, and look at my clock. This is a waste of time, I should've come here all by myself. I noticed a girl with her hair down, a familiar one. Right.

“Delilah!” I stood up and approach them. Unfortunately with the long distance between us a lot of people blocked my way. I'm trying to get pass through them and calling her name many times.

She turn her head to my direction finally I can explain. However that didn't stop for Satan to mock me.

So he sent his greatest bitch he ever possessed. Austin.

It disgust me seeing him talking to Delilah but thankfully it didn't last long since Lilah's friend pull her somewhere. And just like that i lose tract at her, that didn't stop me of course so I continue walking but someone grabed my arm

“Jake I'm done now we can go now” Catherine said with her iconic annoying voice

“Hang on a minute ” I replied desperate to talk to Delilah.

“No no no. My legs hurt, we should head our way back to our home now! ” she replied and I don't have any choice but to follow her. It's not my fault if she's horny all of the time that she wants to have sex with a random stranger.

Delilah's POV:

“Delilah!” a familiar voice called me

I turn my head to see who it was but Austin showed up instantly.

“Oh hi Austin! How's shopping? ” I greet him

“well it's not well cause they said my tux will be done a few hours ago but it doesn't matter now I see you” he responded with a weird cocky smile

“uhh well it's 3:35 pm so its fine the prom starts exactly at 6 pm” i shrugged. But something really bothers me, the voice that have been calling me all over and over i just cant see who it is

Trina grabbed my hand and look disgustingly at Austin. “Wow how ironic of you to flirt with Lilah when decades ago you're teasing us, Lilah, let's get outta here ”

I have no choice but to leave.

We reached my room and there we started to dress, make up, put our accessories and put some perfume on since it's almost 6 and Austin will pick us up.

“He's here!! ” Mom shouts and i run barefoot and carries my heels to the door since we're running late.

“have fun girls! ” mom said and we kissed her on her cheeks and left.

On the car since its dead silence I start to talk to Trina and she brought up my trip to Paris.

“So is everything's packed? ” Trina started

“packed for what? ” Austin said

“Lilah's trip to Paris is tonight ”

“Lilah's leaving? ” Austin said looking at me from the passenger seat

“Woah! Austin! Eyes on the road! ” I snapped and Austin fixed our direction.

“You didn't tell me you're leaving”

“ Do I have any idea that you will care? ”

“I should've spent the day with you, lilah. ”

“That wouldn't be necessary cause she spent the day with me” Trina said from the backseat

We reached the school thankfully on time and started walking inside. Austin offered his arm and i reluctantly accept and walk with him.

“I'm gonna go grab us some drinks ” He said and storm off

My eyes wondered the room and spotted him with his... Sister..? What the- oh. He noticed me and starts walking towards me.. oh no. What am I gonna do?
