“D-delilah... ” I look at her with tears building up in her eyes.. I messed up didn't I..?

“So this.. is all a stupid bet?!” She replied

“Is this the great jake only known for?! To break hearts to rake across the school??! Do I look like a stupid woman to you..? ” Delilah look at me with disgust that I always hate..

She slapped me, hard.

I look like a total jerk standing like a statue looking at her walking away. I look at the boys and they just laugh at me

“Did you think you can keep your sham relationship secret on me? Jakey you lied to me, you lied to us you cheated on the bet" Austin said

I gave him a hard punch on his face to wipe the stupid smirk on his fucking face which led him falling to the ground and I left him.. I didn't know they can do that to me.

These following days has been difficult.. Austin kept talking behind my back with Reggie and Prescilla and Catherine is having a war over me but  one thing really kept me awake in the middle of the night is Delilah.

Sure she's just a bet I'm desperate to win but She's also somethin' else, her wisdom drives me crazy and her laughter brings me joy and I myself is surprised when she give me an annoying look or a sad face it used to make me feel confident and better but now it hurts me.

I don't know who am I going with since the prom is tomorrow night so even it's the last thing I would do, I asked Catherine to go with me even though she thinks its romantic I don't bother since she's my own sister

Surprisingly I see Austin talking to Delilah these few days on school: on the bench, the cafeteria, classrooms, locker, and even library. I know Austin isn't with books stuff so he's doing it for her.

Such a jerk he is. He could've get him by himself if he wants her but no, I noticed he has this jealousy over me cause I got all the attention, he's just a side kick guy.

He's the one who picked Delilah, He's the one who made that stupid bet, He's the one who made me think I should "date" Delilah and keep it a secret but no, he finds me predictable and he saw the chance when Priscilla dumped me with a boring guy and he took the chance.He's probably talking shit about me and asking her to the  prom
