Chapter 4

Lucas P. O. V

We didn't even crossed the street but she fell asleep.. She must be so tired.. Wait... What the fuck..?!! Where did I have to drop her..?!! I don't even asked for route.. Well I have no idea that she would fell asleep like this.. Haah..what do I do now..?

Suddenly that annoying guy came to my mind

"what's up..?" he asked

"hey do you have helena 's number ..?" I asked and he replied a yes... That's so fast..

"Send me her number " I said and he was silent

"wait... What.?" he asked again in shocked tone then I told him everything and he connected the call with helena and as soon as I told her athy was sleeping she told me her address and to bring her there.

When I reached her address and came out of the car...i carried her in princess style .. But surprisingly she is lighter than I thought.. I don't have to rang the bell since helena opened the door at the right time.. I saw jennete walking out half asleep..

" thanks for bringing her home... Come inside.. And put her in that bed." she said pointing the bed.. Which is covered in a eye blinding pink colour bed sheet.. How do they even sleep on that..? Wait.. Inside..?

"can you hold her.?" I asked and she nodded a no.. Haah...

"then atleast give her a piggy back" I said and she sighed.

" I said you can come inside." she said

"but I don't want to enter girl's bedroom .. Here.." I said

she sighed as she turned back and I helped her carry athy in piggyback and they gently put her on the bed with jennete's help.. She looks experienced on this though.. This girl..

"then I will get going." I said and she waved me a bye..

"he didn't want to enter girl's room huh...?" jennete said smiling..

" hmm.. No wonder athy likes him." helena mumbled with a grin

"huh.. Athy likes him..?" jennete asked surprised

" you can't see that..? The first time I saw them together .. There is something in between them.. 'A spark' .. Would be a perfect word to describe that ..." helly said and jennete smiled

"may be you feel like that because they two look good together and it's given for you since you are a romance genre freak" jennete shrugged.

" no jenny.. I have this feeling that they would end up together... Lucas don't seems like the type to treat everyone nice like he do with athy... More than nice he is treating her special .." helly said.

" like carrying her... Or holding her like we saw in the photo?" jenny asked and helly nodded a yes

" hmm.. Now that you talk about that.. It's surprising . How athy is also letting him "

jenny said.. Like finally she get what helly is saying.

"exactly.. That's what I am saying.. There is no way any boy can touch athy easily like that.. She seems to have interest in lucas... Let's pray our forever single friend will finally get committed"

helly said and jenny giggled.

"if only athy heared this.. you are done.." jenny said

"don't jinx it.. She is scary when she is mad.." helly said hugging herself

They chatted as they went back to bed and lied down beside athy.. The next day athy found herself sandwiched between jenny and helly and ..

'how did i come here.?' she thought as she slowly Sat up on the bed..

she recalled everything and facepalmed herself.

"haah..why the hell did I do that..? ." she screamed which made her friends jerk up from sleep

" nice way to wake me up athy... good morning"

jenny said hitting her back and athy sighed.

"what's with you..? first thing in the morning.. " helly grumbled as she Sat up beside her.

" lucas brought me here last night right .?" she asked facepalming herself. Jenny and helly looked at each other and giggled.

" yeah.. He brought you here carrying you like a princess...it's so romantic to watch"

helly said in a dramatic tone and jenny giggled.. A twitch mark appeared on athy's head as she smacked her head

" come on wake up from your fantasies.. Gosh.. I shouldn't have asked you.." she grumbled as she turned towards jenny with puppy eyes asking her to complete the story

"yeah.. He did but he didn't came inside.. Helly piggybacked you" jenny completed the flashback

"yep.. Your gentleman friend didn't want to enter girl's bed room" helly shrugged.

That guy did..? Athy thought and sighed.

"Haah.. That jerk he would tease me nonstop for this" she mumbled and the girls giggled.

" you two..

" don't say anything cringey.. It's already too much for me... Move "

athy interrupted her and said annoyed as she got up and left to the restroom... Jenny and helly stared at one another and giggled

Then they reached uni together since they waited for athy to finish her morning part time job..

" Haah.. I am hungry.. Let's eat" athy said and they entered the cafeteria to eat as soon as they entered uni .. . . .

"students we are going for a small education trip"

the prof said and the class get noisier as everyone got excited

"woahh.. Where are we going..?"

one of the students asked.. Athy looked around as she searched for lucas as he was no where to found then sighed in relief

" well.. We are actually going for hiking.. There is an environmental awareness programme being held at the top of the mountain "

The prof said and the students whined since it's not what they expected... Still they aren't disappointed since wherever it is.. going with friends is fun.

" OK..tomorrow.. Come to the bus stop on time and don't be late, then you may won't have a seat in the bus " the prof said in stren voice

" wow.. I am so excited.!!." jennete said and athy smiled at her.

'guess I have to ask for a day off in my morning job huh...' she thought as she was looking outside.

The next morning athy was late so she ran towards the place where the bus is supposed to stop panting .. She saw the bus already left and sighed in frustration..

'damn it..that aunty purposely made me wait longer isn't she.? She is being so annoying... I should change the job'

she thought panting. She looked around and saw a familiar face sitting on the bus stop bench lethargically staring at his mobile.

'what is this jerk doing here.? Did he also missed the bus.? Wait... What the hell.?!! Why is he wearing same dress like me ..? I wore it because it would be cold while climbing.. This irritating idiot.. Now helly will tease me until she finds a new topic... Haah.. '

she thought as she stared at him breathing heavily .

" what do you want.?" he asked without even looking at her.

"did you also miss the bus.?" athy asked as she slowly walked towards him and Sat beside him.

"how does it look to you.?" lucas asked in bored tone as he was still staring at his phone

"yeah.. My mistake I shouldn't have asked you." she mumbled irritated. She looked around and saw his bike was parked beside him.

" isn't that your bike.? You have your bike then what are you waiting for .?" she asked and he finally changed his gaze from his mobile to her

" I am waiting for the next bus" he said

" is there another bus going there.?" she asked with a little hope

" no idea... Prof told me the balance staffs are using another vehicle.."

he said and she nodded a yes and Their class prof came on the right time and they stood up.

"oh athanasia..you finally came huh..? Why did you guys are late.? Don't tell me, You guys went on a date and now only came back..?!! "

he asked with his hands on his hip.. Staring at their accidentally matched outfit. Lucas then only noticed and They both sighed in unison as they nodded a no..

" then why are you Guys late.? "he asked and they bowed and apologised.

" Haah.. It's ok... But sorry the staff are going in the car and there is not enough space.. And it seems we would be a little late.. Lucas that's your bike right...? Take athy with you and join the others.. Students are usually not permitted to use their own vehicle during trips but we have a situation.. Here.. Go first and hand over this to prof rina .. She is in the bus .. Be careful don't lost it.. Understand.? "the professor said and they nodded a yes

" then get going.. I will catch up with guys later on... "

he said and they bowed again.. Lucas sighed in frustration as soon as he left.

" what happen.? "athy asked..

" Haah.. I have to finish my assignment.. "he mumbled.

" are you talking about the assignment we have to submit before the programme starts.. You still didn't submit it .? "athy asked and he nodded a yes.

" what were you doing.? You lazy guy "she scolded him and he stood there dazed. Looking lost.. Athy stared at him for a while silently

" then.. Can I drive ..? "she asked and he stared at her with a 'what the fuck..?' face.

" that bike..? You..? "he asked and she nodded a yes.

" I know how to drive and I once drove a bike like that.. " she said and he stared at her in disbeleif

" Haah.. Forget it.. You don't have to if you don't believe me "she said as she went back and sit.. He stared at her for a while and slowly walked towards her..

" here.. But if something goes wrong while you were driving remember you are responsible "he said and she sighed as she nodded a yes snatching the key.

" then here.. hold my bag " she said as she throwed her bag on him and he catched it... She sit on the bike, started it and made a u turn..

'what the... She really can drive huh...? ' he thought staring at her with a surprised look .

"what are you staring at.. Come let's go" she said looking back

"are you sure you can drive this..?" he asked again as he hesitantly Sat behind her..

" just sit properly and do your work" she said as they put on the helmet

" why do you have two helmets?" she asked as she secured it on her head

"that's caby's" he mumbled and she nodded a yes

'wow.. She can really drive huh.. This bike is quite heavy though. She is really something..' lucas thought with a smile amazed by the fact that she can drive.

" how did you learned to drive this... Isn't this model bike heavy for you.?" he asked.

" just because... Felix used to have this kind of bike in his garage so I was curious and it looked cool when he drove that so I learned to drive his bike" she said..

"felix..? Who is he...?" lucas blurted out his thought

'shit..' he cursed himself ..

"felix is my dad's best friend..he is like my uncle.." she said in a happy tone..

'ohh.. Uncle huh...' he thought with a smile which he don't know plastered in his face he then started working on his assignment in his mobile  as athy drove ..

" hey try calling her again... Haah.. Why she is late at the last minute...?! "helly said frustrated as jennete tried calling athy.

" her mobile is still unavailable " jennete mumbled... As her eyes got fixated on a particular bike on the road

" hey isn't that lucas's bike..? " she asked and helly got up from her seat and stared out through the window...

"oh my God..!!" she suddenly shouted which made everyone turn towards her and jennete got startled

"you startled me idiot.. What is it..?" she asked hitting helena's shoulder

"jenny...that's athy and lucas..!! And athy is driving.." she shouted in excitement which made everyone stare out of their window.. Cabel turned towards helly gasping.

"she can even drive that bike..? It's quiet heavy you know.." cabel said surprised and helly smiled proudly

"athy is so cool isn't she.?" she said proudly

"hmm.. She really is..." cabel said smiling...

" you two become so close now.. that I feel left out" jennete said pouting and they giggled..

" why she is with lucas ..?" jenny asked looking outside.

" that lazy jerk was also late but this is unbelievable.. He suddenly told me they were friends since school days and he is even letting her drive his bike..?" cabel said surprised.

"why?" helly asked

" it's just.. He never let me drive even if I beg him .. He loves his bike that much" he said pouting.

"see.. I told you they like each other." helly told jenny and she smiled.

" yeah.. I also think he do.. But he still doesn't realise it.. Or else there is no way he would let her drive" caby said looking outside

" she is also like that. Or.. . May be we are the only one exaggerating it .. They may be just friends" jenny said in a low voice

"I don't think so" cabel and helena said in unison and smiled as they hified.

" hmm.. Then let's wait and see" jenny said staring at them...

Behind them.. A white haired guy is also staring at them silently.. His hands grabbing his coat tightly crumbling it...
