3 - Enough?

Kyeom pov.

Recap:

"I'm so glad that I approached you first." He then said. I was confused and lost what the hell? What does he freaking mean?!?

"What?" I asked in confusion.

"Oh sorry didn't mean to say that. What I meant was I'm so glad you helped me and let me stay here for a while." He said and I looked at his expression. It was something I can't recognize and trust me I know every expression he makes. This one was a bit suspicious.

"You're acting weird." I said to him. Like weirder that his weird personality now.

"Me?" He asked and then he just stared at me then behind me.

"Joshua are you alright?" I asked him again because he seemed more of a different person in front of me.

"Yeah don't worry about it. I'm just glad that I met a fan? I guess?" He said as he pointed at my door. Dammit I forgot that he saw a little bit of my room! This is why I didn't want him here in the first place. I know I'm crazy about him but I never wanted him to find that out. I still have a little shame in me, believe it or not.

"Oh you saw? Hah hahah It's just a little thing. No big deal." I tried to play it off. But he was still a little suspicious about what he said. I just couldn't put my finger around it.

"I'm seriously killing Hoshi." I mumbled as i led him to the bathroom.

"What?" He asked.

"Oh nothing. I was just talking to myself." I reasoned out. Then I escorted him in the bathroom. As soon as he was inside I rushed to the living room to find my best friend eating popcorn living his life while I was on the verge of breaking down because of embarrassment.  I approached him and smacked his head.

*smack

"Ouch! My head! I'm telling Auntie!" He said as he ran towards the kitchen. He's really gonna play that card right now???? I'm seriously not sure what am I to this guy.

"Kyeom did you just kicked this poor kid?" My mom asked as she was holding on to a spatula and looking at me.

"Kicked? He's the one that makes my life as embarrassing as it is now!!! Mom!! I thought we were on the same side!" I said in a low whisper because I don't want Joshua to hear and my mother just giggled. Seriously he loves Hoshi more than me.

"Alright alright. We are! Relax yourself because your husband- I mean your 'friend' is coming." She said as she turned my body manually around. Then I almost face palm myself.

"Is something wrong?" Joshua asked all of a sudden.

"Nah nothing's wrong dear. Why don't you guys set the table while I finish preparing. It's not gonna be long." She said and we just followed her like the obedient child we are.

My mother out did herself and made us the best dinner ever. Hoshi and Joshua were obviously as happy as I am. We talked for what seems like hours and My mother even told Joshua to come back all the time so that she can teach him some of her cooking skills.

After a little chat in the table we decided to tidy up. My mother has a little get together with her friends so we were gonna be left alone in the house. I offered to wash the dishes and Hoshi on the other hand ran away into the living room already.

"I'm gonna go wash up and get ready dear, see you later. I'll leave this to you. And Joshua why don't you stay the night with Hoshi? I'd be more comfortable leaving my Kyeomi with two bodyguard. Plus it's already pass curfew and Hoshi told me you don't have a car." She said and then went upstairs. Seriously?!?? Just like that??? I looked at Joshua and he looked as surprised as I am.

"I guess were both staying here tonight." Hoshi said to Joshua and I just smiled despite my panic. How the hell did this day come and ended like this? Seriously this day escalated too quickly and I'm even embarrassed that after years of me trying to make Joshua like and notice me this is where it is going right now. In a span of a day everything is changing and the progress is really remarkable.

I started fixing and gathering the plates out of panic. Then I noticed Joshua was no where out of sight. Maybe he joined Hoshi or something. I played some songs for background noise because I don't like silence. I also sang a little for a while as I was washing the dishes since I wanted to drown the voices in my head celebrating and having a mental breakdown.

Then all of a sudden I hear someone coming in.

"You have a great voice. I didn't know you could sing." Joshua said behind me and I was shocked I almost threw a wet plate at him.

"I could sing but not as good as you." I told him because I know he's a singer.

"Are you kidding me? You're better than me. Honestly." He said as he sat down watching me finish washing the dishes.

"Stop it." I told him trying to hide my blush.

"Seriously you should sing more. It's very relaxing in my ears." I feel so hot because I feel shy about the compliment and at the same time proud of myself. If I knew he liked my voice I would've sang for him everyday. Kidding but not really.

"Can you just drop it." I said to stop him from complimenting me further. I don't think I could function well if he does.

"Alright alright. Sooo... can we address the elephant in the room?" He said and I immediately remembered that he caught a glimpse of my room.

"Alright. I like you alright. But You already know this! My room is obviously covered in your face! I even confessed to you for years so why are you still asking? Are you really trying to tease me? " I said suddenly and then he looked at me and we both stared at each other in shock of my sudden outburst and then all of a sudden he started laughing.

"Wait why are you laughing? Are you mocking me??" I asked.

"Wait That's an understatement right there. I mean I recently gave you a letter for crying out loud. And you have yet to give me an answer." I said as words started spilling out my mouth nonstop.

"Actually... I was gonna ask where I can stay tonight or do you have a guest room but great that you're so open about that." He said and I was done.

"Oh you meant that...." I said as I continued to scrub harder in the plate because I was so embarrassed. Why is lord testing me today!!! I'm not his strongest soldier!!!

"Yup and you mentioned about a letter?." He asked.

"Yes but Whatever. i know what your answer is gonna be anyway." I said and I continued to scrub so hard that in a blink of an eye the plate in my hand gave up and I literally broke the plate in my hands.

"Ow!" I said and then all of a sudden Joshua was behind me and grabbed my hands.

"Kyeom! What— are you alright?!?" He said in worry. I could not even answer him because I was stuck looking at his face and how close we are.

"Yeah just a nick no big deal." I said and then Hoshi went inside the room.

"Dude you good?" He asked as he looked at my bloody hand.

"Yup just a little accident." I said and then he said peace out. This guy really.. didn't even care...

"Where's your medicine kit?" My thoughts were interrupted by Joshua who looked more scared than I was. Like he looked like he was about to cry. I just pointed at the kit and he immediately ran and grabbed it.

"Seriously it's fine. It doesn't even hurt that much." I said as he placed my wound in running water. Then wiping it with a clean towel.

"No no.. sit down and I'll dress the wound up." He said as we both sat on the kitchen counter. Why is he being so nice to me it's making me think like I have a chance or something. Which is really far from all this. It's like my fantasies are running wild.

"This is really dangerous Josh." I told him.

"I know that's why I'm treating it right away." He said and I smiled a little. Dangerous not because of the wound but dangerous for my heart. It's making me think of how we can grow old together already. He really did dressed up my wound and even placed a plaster despite it being just a little cut. He's a little dramatic but who am I to refuse him right?

Eventually after all the wounded fiasco, Joshua offered to wash the dishes for me and then Hoshi prepared their bed. He was insisting to sleep on my bed with me but I refused. Like Joshua is right there.

Before going to bed Hoshi pulled me aside.

"What's going on with you two?" He asked me and I looked at him in confusion.

"What?" I asked.

"He keeps on glancing your way. And you're not that even good looking why does he likes you now?" He asked and I was about to answer but I realized how he just insulted me right to my face. I slapped his arms and he chuckled a little.

"This is why I told you he was weird and you guys keep on telling me what a good thing this is. But its not. It's just like I'm looking at a very different person but at the same time the same? Do i sound crazy?" I asked and laughed because of how ridiculous this all is.

"Whatever. Just tell me if you guys are hooking up already." He joked and I slapped his arm again.

"We will definitely not hook up. Even if he's good to me and actually talks to me now. I doubt he will like me now that he saw my room. Which is by the way your fault.. he probably thinks I'm this obsessed person that praises him." I said and he laughed.

"I mean... it's true though." He said and laughed again.

"Shut up. He's probably just making fun of me." I said and as soon as I said this I felt really sad for a moment.  What if he really was? Maybe this was some kind of a dare? Or prank?

"Whatever dude. I'll see you tomorrow." He said as he went into the guest room. Which they will both share by the way.

I went to my room too and think about what the hell happened today and probably the most productive day with Joshua ever in my life. And now I can't sleep. Great.

I laid in my bed and stared at my ceiling. This may be a really weird day but in the back of my head I'm already loving this.

A few hours later...

"Kyeom! Kyeom!" I heard someone trying to wake me up. I wanted to drown the sound but the voice is really annoying and it doesn't stop.

"Uhhhhhhh!!! Go away!" I said as I used my very little force to swat him away.

"Kyeom!" He said one more time with another smack. This time I opened my eyes in shock. And for sure it was Hoshi just disturbing my beautiful sleep.

"What? Seriously you're a bummer." I said as I tried to open my eyes.

"Joshua's gone." He said and I almost wanted to slap him. I mean is that such big of a deal to wake me up this early?

"So? He must went home." I said trying to find a better position as I rolled around my bed.

"Yeah but dude it's 3:00 am." He said and I stopped. 3 am?!??!? I opened my phone to see that it was true. Who the hell wakes up and leaves at 3:00 am? Then I remembered that he was hesitant for us to take him home. Why would he go home? Or i don't really know.

"Should we call somebody?" I asked.

"You should call him. You have his number right?" He asked me and then I remembered about his card. I grabbed my bag and got the card out.

"Alright since you're so worried.." I said but really I was a little curious where he went. I mean he didn't even say anything before he left.

"It's ringing." I said.

"Hello?" As. Soon as the call was picked up, I got nervous.

"Hey it's Kyeom. Just wondering where you went?" I said as Hoshi listened with me putting his ears. Next to mine.

"Oh... I'm at home...." He said and then he paused.

"Thank you for your hospitality." He said in a very serious voice. Now this sound like the Joshua I'm interested in.

"Oh.. that's fine Hoshi was just worried you got kidnapped or something heheheheh" I faked laughed a little and it was very awkward.

"All good. How did you get my number by the way?" He asked and then Hoshi and I looked at each other.

"You gave it to me earlier." I said not sure myself. I was second guessing myself because Its not far off for me to just steal his card. But I would never do that in real life.

"Oh right sorry I forgot. Alright see you in class." He said and then turned it off before I could say anything.

"See that right there! How is this not weird at all??" I asked Hoshi and he just raised his shoulders. But it was obvious he doesn't care anymore.

"Well, now that we know he's home let's get back to sleep." Hoshi said as he laid next to me and embraced me really tight. He has this hobby of snuggling next to someone before he sleeps. I have been trapped in his hug again.

He did get to sleep right away but I was wide awake. It feels like I'm missing something and it's making me confuse myself.

The very next day...

Hoshi and I went to school together and as we were going into the room, we saw Joshua talking with some of the people outside. Something about a new student or something.

"Hey Joshua!" Hoshi said as he waved him hello. He was shocked who called for him and looked at our direction. He bowed at both of us to acknowledge us both and that was it. Not even a smile. He's still gorgeous though.

"That was rude." Hoshi commented and I just looked at Joshua more with confusion.

"Maybe he's busy." I commented and then we both went to our room. As soon as we both sat down our seats, Jeonghan came over.

"Did you hear about the rumors?" He asked.

"What?" I asked in curiosity.

"Oh no.. you're not gonna love this." Cheol suddenly added as he looked and pointed at me.

"Ohhh whyy?" Hoshi said invested to the rumors.

"Your husband is transferring school." Wonu suddenly interrupted.

"Hey! I wanted to be the one to tell him." Jeonghan complained but I was completely shocked at this point.

"HE's WHAT NOW?!??" I said in a very dramatic tone. What the hell?
