Chapter 40

After the party Jonathon, Bane, Riddler and Joker stayed at Bane's place for the night. Selina, Harley and Megan stayed with me. Megan is Riddlers new girlfriend. Shes very pretty though. "Shall we watch a movie?" suggested Megan. "Yeah!!" said Harley. Thats the thing I love about her. She is super hyper all day. Even at night. Crazy. "Lets see what movies Jonny's got" Selina looked at the shelf. "Hmm... How about this one?" Selina picked out Saw. I hated horror movies. "Why not?" I said, fake smiling. I did not want them to think I was a little wimp.

So the movie began. I sat on the single sofa and Harley sat on floor. Megs and Selina were on the other sofa. At one point in the movie Selina paused it to get some drinks. Everyone followed her to the kitchen, leaving me alone. Quickly I got up and ran to the stairs. I didnt want to watch the movie. It was too scary for me. I just dont like horror. As I was going up the stairs I tripped on something. God knows what but I landed face on the floor. Seconds later but a  familiar gas filled the hall from the can...Fear Gas

I was falling... Falling of a clif edge into a deep black sea. I screamed a deafening scream again and again. I held on to a bit of rock just above the sea. I felt something on my hand. Spiders, maggots, flies, ants you name it. They were crawling all over. I let go and fell into the sea. My head bashed against an iceburg and the sea turned red.

Jonathons.P.O.V:

We were playing poker when I got a phone call. "Harley, if its about jok-" she cut me off. "Shut it. Because of you Dani tripped over a fear can and now shes in a very bad condition. Get your arse here now!" she shouted. Shit..

I drove back home to find Megs, Harls, and Selina crowding around Dani. "Dani!" I said. Selina turned to me. "Why would you just leave your cans around like that?"  she spat. I ignored her. "Whats going to happen to her?" Asked Megs. She was new. "Shes inhaled a concen)trated dose. Theres only so much her mind can take. Theres nothing I can do but give her the vaccine" I said. The vaccine makes her immune to the.gas forever. But once you take it, you go through excrutiating pain for three days. Harls, Selina, Joker, Bane, Riddles and Megs have done it years ago. I dont want to put her in pain. But I have to do it. To save her life.

I am still trying to get over the fact that I have over four hundred reads!! Seriously I thought I would probably get about twenty. No lie! To some people it would seem a small amount but because this is my first story its hugeOh yeah what do you think about Megan's personality? I know there isnt much about her but after the next chapter I'll let you know more about her.Thank you for reading this chapter it means a lot to me
