Shut up and kiss me

Months of planning turned into reality very quickly. You planned on surprising Mark by visiting him since he always comes to visit you. You planned with everyone around him to make sure he had time and was free to do anything he wanted while you were there with him.

Standing in front of his bedroom door with 3 other guys behind you giggling trying to stay quiet.

"Mark can you come out for a second" Haechan reaches around you knocking on the door.

"Yeah give me a sec" Mark replies behind the closed door. You hear shuffling and then the door knob jingle.

The door opens and a shirtless Mark in PJ bottoms and a SnapBack hat placed backward on his head appears. His eyes widen once his eyes meet with yours.

"Hi!" You chuckle nervously you hadn't seen him in person in so long and now you stand in front of him with so many mixed emotions you had never felt before.

"Oh my god, I can't believe you are here. When did you get here?" He pulls you into a very tight hug which you reciprocate.

"Not too long ago! I came here straight from the airport." He pulls away and looks at you taking in everything in front of him.

"Where are you staying? You can stay with me or I can go stay with you or whatever you want to do. Are you hungry did you eat? Sit down you've been traveling a long time." You smile fondly shaking your head at all the questions he was throwing at you in a short span of time.

"Mark one question at a time, please. I have not eaten but I am staying at a hotel close by. You can stay with me if you want but you don't have to also-" he cut you off mid-thought by standing up and running to his room.

About 10 to 15 minutes later he comes out in an all black T-shirt with his book bag thrown over his shoulder. He grabs your suitcase and his house key and gestures with his head for you to follow him.

That night after dinner you both lay next to each other under the covers watching a movie like you both did when you were younger.

"Dating anyone?" He randomly asks breaking the comfortable silence.

"No!" You chuckle sitting up to look at him. His eyes showed such a foreign emotion in them but everything felt a bit foreign. You hadn't seen each other in so long that it was like you didn't know each other even though you FaceTime and texted every single day. The feelings you had for him in person were too much to handle.

"Why are you laughing? It was just a question." You take his hand in yours as he sits up facing you.

"Where we live I am not considered good enough. So I only have a couple of options for potential boyfriends and they all suck. Plus the love of my life is so busy with his career that he doesn't even know I exist most of the time." Mark reaches forward moving a stray piece of hair behind your ear causing your breath to hitch in your throat.

"Who's the love of your life?" He asks moving closer and closer to you. You froze as his eyes moved from your eyes to your lips and back up a couple of times.

"I can't say but he's rocking it in life." You chuckle nervously realizing how close to you he really is.

"I think I should actually go..." his voice deepened an octave and got quieter while his voice shook.

"You should stay" you whisper back secretly hoping he would lean in to kiss you.

"I don't want to ruin this friendship we have so I think-" you cut him off pressing your lips to his. He was too stunned to process what was gapping at first.

"Shut up and kiss me already!" You whispered wrapping your arms around the back of his neck. He smirks and leans in again kissing back this time. The kiss was slow and tender. His lips molded to yours almost perfectly. You inhale into the kiss as he pulls you closer into his body.

"I have feelings for you and I know you feel the same way." You pull away from the kiss and connect your eyes with him.

"I'm glad we are on the same page then!"
