"T-taehyung?"Y/N's eyes widened in shock whilst the other man stared at her confused before shaking his head.

"...nice guess but it's Taeyung..."He chuckled at the girl who had a heart attack before standing up after processing everything.

"U-um sorry- I thought you were someone I knew."Y/N bowed slightly before fixing her clothes while the man smiled.

"Well, I've never seen you before and I just told my name to a stranger, so what's yours?"He got up from his fallen state, placing his hands in his pockets while leaning against the shelf.

Y/N awkwardly smiled at Taeyung feeling embarrassed before saying her name in a professional manner.

"Oh.. nice~ By the way... Y/N, why were you searching for a book up there?"He pointed up to the book on the top of the shelf before reaching his hand, easily reaching it.

"Thank you, I'm a historian so I'm searching for some books to complete one of my projects. How... about you?"Y/N asked in a shy manner making him chuckle and shrug.

"People say that I looked like King Kim from years ago so I came here to investigate, but I think you're searching the same thing.."He placed his hand in his pockets, after passing the book to Y/N.

"Yea, I might not be able to help you much but sure, you can follow me."She shrugged placing the book in her bag, walking to the cashier to borrow the book.

"Okay let's go to my office,"Y/N walked out of the library with Taeyung following behind.

...

"Hey Joonie, how's work?"She entered the office seeing Namjoon already digging deep in his work.

"Yea I'm just trying to connect these things... um.. "He raised his head unable to finish his sentence, shaking his head only to see Taehyung?

"Hi I'm Taeyung."Taeyung raised his hand to shake as Namjoon's eyes just opened wide as his jaw dropped.

"H-Huh?"Unable to make any words, he just looked at Y/N in confusion.

"*chuckles* I know Joonie, he looks like King Kim but he's not."Y/N chuckled as Namjoon nodded still trying to process things.

"Anyways Taeyung just visiting,"Y/N placed her bag down, taking her books out and grabbed a seat for Taeyung to sit beside her.

"Okay, I've done some research about King Kim- "Y/N looked up from her books only to see Taeyung staring at something.

"Wow how long have you investigated into this?"Y/N looked at what he was pointing at and hurriedly placed it into her cupboard.

"O-Oh nothing, it's just a theory there's no such thing as time travelling,"Y/N tried to smile hiding her panicked face, glaring at Namjoon who placed things wherever he wanted.

"Anyways, you just wanted to find the history behind King Kim right?"She tried to change the subject which successfully worked as he nodded.

"Yea, could it be that I'm a descendant from him or something like that.."He shrugged making Y/N look into his eyes.

Y/N nodded by his answer, suddenly feeling a sudden pain in her heart remembering about Taehyung.

A tear suddenly came out as she unknowingly began crying, making Taeyung panic by her sudden tear.

"Y/N are you okay?"He worriedly asked as Namjoon looked up from his work, seeing Y/N begin crying.

"O-Oh s-sorry s-omething was in my- "Y/N looked away embarrassed, wiping her face.

Namjoon stood up from his seat and walked up towards them with a tissue.

"You should take a break, I'll deal with Taeyung."Y/N nodded taking the tissue, thanking Namjoon for letting her go off.

She quickly took her bag and quickly ran out leaving Taeyung confused.

In the middle of the park where kids were playing and people walking their dogs, Y/N sat there on the swing crying to herself.

"W-why is my heart still h-urting?"She hit her chest, purposely hurting herself as the only way to stop that pain.

Tears kept on flowing down her cheeks only to remember her forbidden love. Remembering the time when they first met, to the last time they were ever to meet.

"T-taehyung I-I mi-ss y-ou *sob* "

Past time

"Your highness, your citizens are really grateful for the distribution of bread and..."

While the servant was speaking, Taehyung sat on his throne staring in deep space not listening to what he was saying.

Suddenly he felt a pain in his heart, (the same time as Y/N) he held onto his chest, catching the attention of Hoseok.

"Y-your highness are you okay?!"Taehyung couldn't hear anything and fell down from his seat as he began crying.

Hoseok called Jimin as they both carried Taehyung to his bedroom as he cried uncontrollably.

"Do you want us to call for the royal doctor?"The servant asked as Jimin shook his head before closing the doors.

"He just needs some time to himself."Hoseok nodded as the servants went away leaving Jimin and Hoseok standing outside the room.

...

"I-I'm so-rry Y/N..."He kneeled down as he cried in deep agony wanting to feel the presence of his love.

Only wanting to embrace Y/N for the longest time, he suddenly saw an old book for under his bed.

He reached out for the book confused to who placed it there and blew off the dust only to see the unexpected.

"W-who put this here?"Taehyung wiped his nose before taking a seat beside his bed.

'History of the Royal Family'

Slowly opening the book in confusion he read the first page which said: 'Only for the Kim royal family '

Flipping over to the pages was the history of the past king's and their families until the next page.

'King Kim IV'Knowing that it was his father, he was curious to see what his father wrote.

'To being living in this earth is a blessing, with a beautiful wife whom I truly love to the midst of my heart.'

Taehyung smiled remembering his mother who had died because of birth problems after she gave birth to Taehyung.

'However, I despise myself for making a decision that separated me from my family.'

In confusion Taehyung kept reading the next pages until the last words.

'I'm sorry Taeyung..."

Dropping his book he stared at the name in shock as he knew that his father would never make a mistake of spelling his name wrong.

"Who's Taeyung?"

Present time

"Well you might be one of King Kim's descendant but we could try do a DNA test or-"Namjoon stopped talking when Taeyung showed him a book.

"Oh I almost forgot, I found this book"Namjoon took the old book from his hands in confusion and read the pages.

"W-here did you find this book? It's only for the royal family, unless..."

Namjoon looked up to Taeyung with his jaw opened wide.

"You're King Taehyung's brother..."
