Spending time together [S2 Chapter 1]

Time skip to a few days later after Taehyung time travelled to the future. Y/N and her lover are having a picnic on a sunny day

"I'm so glad to have this opportunity to spent time with you love.."

Taehyung took a deep breath of the fresh air in appreciation, looking up in the clear blue sky.

"Yea I still can't believe we're from two different worlds and love each other.."

Taehyung was cut off from his trance, before looking down on his lap to see the love of his life, laying on his lap peacefully.

Y/N peeked her eyes opened to see him looking at her already and chuckled.

"I wonder how Namjoon's doing.."

Flashback

"Namjoon,"

Namjoon looked up from his history books and abruptedly stood up in shock.

"Y-your majesty- "He bowed multiple times as Taehyung and his guards entered the room.

Namjoon rubbed his eyes to make sure that the King actually came here. He looked from his history book to the real one.

"Yes, I'm the King,"Taehyung chuckled seeing Namjoon in disbelief while Y/N walked up to Namjoon.

"Wait- what- the pages are disappearing..."Namjoon looked in shock as Y/N stood beside him with the same expression.

"But... how?"Y/N looked at the pages of the book only to see the pages blank.

Taehyung and his guards stood there confused to what was happening before Namjoon slammed his hand on the table.

"You shouldn't be here... you're changing the past!"Namjoon covered his mouth in shock, rushing to his shelf to get his time travel book.

"But- how?"Taehyung suddenly asked looking at Hoseok and Jimin standing beside him who shrugged.

Y/N tied up her hair, helping Namjoon with the bunch of time travelling books placing them on the table.

"...here!"He opened up one of the books and hurriedly rushed the pages.

Y/N came closer to him and read what he was reading "...the individual will be completely forgotten in a week.."

"What should we do..?"Namjoon sighed in frustration, knowing Taehyung wasn't just an individual but a king.

"Let me and Taehyung spend time for a week.."

Namjoon decided to go back to the past with Jimin and Hoseok so they could make sure that nothing happens..

Giving Taehyung and Y/N time to spend together before changing the time.

Day 1

"Taehyung~ Let's go get you changed so you can be camouflaged,"Y/N grabbed his hand before dragging him to a store.

"Let's try... this... ooh with this and this,"Y/N carried the clothes in excitement while Taehyung smiled seeing her.

"Go try it on.."She pushed him into the changing room while he looked confused by the outfit.

After a while, Taehyung came out from the room while Y/N was playing on her phone already planning for their days ahead.

"I'm... done.."Y/N looked up in shock and couldn't get her eyes off him while Taehyung stood there awkwardly in his clothes.

"Y/Nnn~"He cleared his throat feeling weird wearing different types of clothes. Y/N got out from her daydream and smiled.

"You look handsome as always, let's go check out,"Y/N grabbed his hand, pulling him to the cashier.

Day 2

"Woah... is this where you eat?"Taehyung looked around the cafe in admiration, making Y/N chuckle nodding.

"Yup, what do you want to order?"Y/N looked through her menu while Taehyung looked at the writings on the book confused.

"Servant! I order you to bring me food!"He pointed out his finger as he blurted out in a stern voicr, shocking everyone around him.

"..."Y/N's eyes widened as she didn't expect him to do that, just then one of the waiters came up to them.

"Y-es sir, what would you like to order?"The waitor shakily took out his paper and pen, clearly showing his nervousness by his intimidation.

"How am I suppose to order?! Aren't you supposed to bring me food?!"Taehyung slammed his menu on the table, making the whole cafe quiet.

*ahem* "..yah Tae.. Sorry about his attitude Sir, can we have two hot chocolate and a slice of the strawberry cake."Y/N blushed in embarrassment while the waitor sighed in relief before going away.

"Hey Y/N, isn't he supposed to bring the food to us?"Taehyung raised his eyebrows as Y/N shook her head, covering her face embarrassed.

*sigh* "that's not how it works here..."

Day 3

"Look Tae, let's go to the playground!"Y/N held his hand, leading him the swings.

"What on earth is this chain? Is this for hanging people?"He pulled the chains of the swing, looking at it closely.

"Just look,"Y/N shook her head giggling, making Taehyung sit on the swing before pushing him.

"Let your legs follow the flow of the swing,"Taehyung looked at his legs, slowly raising them up following the direction of the swing.

"Ahh!! Y/N are you going to throw me into the air?!"He held tightly onto the chains while Y/N laughed pushing him from behind.

"Calm down Taehyung! Just relax and feel the breeze,"Y/N pushed him higher as Taehyung closed his eyes shut, trying to relax.

"I'm trying!"

Day 4

"So this is the supermarket where you buy things,"Y/N pushed the trolley with Taehyung following behind, staring at the weird looking cart with wheels.

"This world is indeed very different,"Taehyung put his hands behind his back as a habit in surprise while wandering around.

"Now... the ingredients to make this cake.."Y/N went to one of the aisle, to get the flour, eggs and everything a cake needs.

"...Tae~ can you find me the cocoa powder- Tae!"Y/N abruptedly stopped seeing the cold king eating all the food samples like a little lost boy.

"Y/N, look this is sooo good!"Taehyung took another one before skipping up to the Y/N with a disbelief look on her face.

"Open your mouth Y/N, Ahh~ "

Day 5

"Taee~ Come here, help me measure the flour,"Y/N took out the scale, placing it on the bench while Taehyung sat on the bench.

"Ooh~ I think I seen the maids do this,"Taehyung stared at Y/N's hands working on the cake batter.

"Hey Taehyung! Help me!"Y/N pouted placing the measuring cup down going to Taehyung to pull him up from his seat.

"But I've never done this before.."Taehyung pulled up his sleeve looking at the things on the table.

Day 6

"Tomorrow's the last day... huh,"Y/N placed the picnic mat on the ground, before taking the cake they made yesterday.

Taehyung stopped what he was doing and nodded. He took a seat on the mat staring at the sky.

"Y/N come here..."Taehyung called out to Y/N as she rubbed off the dust from her pants before walking to him.

Y/N laid her head on his lap, staring at the sky. The silence was comforting but also disappointing.

"Time flies.."Y/N sighed feeling the breeze on her face as Taehyung nodded knowing what the phrase meant.

"I'm sorry for being annoying these past few days, I wasn't used to it.."Taehyung confessed as Y/N playfully rolled her eyes.

"I know right.."Y/N acted as if she was mad, making Taehyung pout by her agreement.

"I love you Y/N.."He suddenly blurted out, making Y/N shocked by his suddenness.

"I guess this is... it."Y/N held his hand tightly not wanting to let go as Taehyung looked down nervously.

"You know... if our times don't match, I guess it means we weren't meant for each other.."Y/N's suddenly bursted out in tears after hearing his words.

Taehyung slid his hand up to her shoulder, pulling in for a hug, hiding his tears streaming down his face.

"P-lease find someone better... I love you,"Taehyung felt his heart bursting in pain knowing that in a few seconds, she wouldn't be his.

"Y/N, thank you for everything we've done together.."

Taehyung slowly walked away from her embrace, wanting time to stop and kiss her one last time, but he knew that he wouldn't be able to let go.

Y/N clenched her fists watching his slowly walk towards the whirlhole.

These past few days, were the best times in her life.

Day 1

"Y/N, wait!"Taehyung held onto her hand as Y/N was walking out of the store.

"Let... me dress you up.."He nervously smiled as Y/N looked at him in surprise and raised an eyebrow.

"You're probably old fashioned,"Y/N teased him as he scoffed playfully by her comment.

"Let me prove to you-"He quickly ran back into the store, making Y/N laugh by how he was running like a little kid.

"...cute"

Day 2

*sigh* "that's not how things work here.. "Y/N laid her face on the table feeling embarrassed.

"Oh r-eally? Sorry,"Taehyung bit his lip, slowly going up from his chair.

Y/N raised her head in confusion to where he was going. She followed his movement until she saw...

"I'm sorry for treating you harshly,"He bowed infront of the waitor infront of everyone.

Y/N gasped in shocked and smiled by his change of attitude.

"How could the cold king quickly change his attitude?"

Day 3

"I'm trying!"

Y/N stopped pushed him and chuckled by the way he was acting.

Taehyung peeked one eye opened, feeling that Y/N stopped pushing him. He realised that the swing was relaxing.

"Wow~ this is soo funnn~"

"Ah! There's flour everywhere!"Y/N gasped seeing Taehyung standing in the kitchen like a clueless boy.

"...I'm sorry, I'm not good at anything.."Taehyung sighed feeling disappointed in himself.

Y/N went up to him before taking his hands guiding him to the recipe.

"Look, this is how you measure things,"Y/N looked up to see Taehyung focusing alot, she laughed before booping his nose.

"Thank you Y/N~"

Present

"T-aehyung wait!"Y/N stopped him from continuing by hugging him from the back, crying behind him.

"I-I know that you won't say it back... but I-I love you Y/N.."Taehyung sniffled wiping his tears.

"I-I lo-ve you very much Ta-e-"

"Your highness, we have to go now,"Namjoon appeared out of no where, only to see the King being held back by Y/N.

He bit his lip, knowing that he was going to regret his decision for doing this.

Namjoon quietly pulled Y/N back, making Taehyung be free from the hug.

"G-oodbye.."

Y/N walked in the library almost like a daily routine, not being able to forget everything that happened.

She gave a small smile, finding the book that she needed. However, it was beyond her height.

"Argh...why does this always happen to me..?"She reached their hand while on her tipping toes, however failed.

Suddenly she felt a muscular body close to her, thinking that it was pervert, her instincts was pushed him down...

"Argh!"

Instead he pulled her down with him, making them both fall. (Tsk tsk) Y/N embarrassed, hid her face in his chest trying to process everything.

"Hey, you were looking for this book?"

She slowly looked up with her face red, only to have her eyes widened.

"T-taehyung?"
