Chapter 35

So we've been in Australia for a week now, it's been one of the best weeks of my life. Everyone here is so nice and laid back. We're staying in an amazing hotel, in the penthouse sweet. I've never been to such a beautiful place in my life and I never want to leave.

At the moment we're on the beach, taking in the sun. Cody, Jake, Brad and Tom are surfing, I love watching Cody surf. "When are you going to tell Cody about you and Jake?" I asked Alli. "Shh!" She shushed me and looked at the others. They weren't looking at us.

"When though?" I whispered. "I don't want to tell him." "Why? He's going to find out, you might as well tell him or at least get Jake to." "But it's nothing serious, we just make each other happy." She smiled to herself which made me smile.

"I still think you should tell him." "Jake will." She giggled, I laughed too. "What are you two girls laughing at?" Angie looked over at us. "Um.. Cody just fell off his surf board." Well at least I didn't lie exactly, he did just fall off. "Oh right." She let out a small laugh and looked back at the ocean.

"I'm going in the water, are you coming?" I stood up, Alli shook her head. "I'll sit here with Poppy." Poppy, Jake's little sister, sat down inbetween Alli's legs. "Okay." I smiled at them and walked towards the ocean, I slowly walked in up to my waist.

"Baby, come over here." Cody was sat on his board, I swam over. "Yeah?" I leaned my arms on the board and looked at him. "You look so beautiful." He smiled at me, I looked away. "You're cute." He laughed at me. "Can I get up?" I asked, he nodded.

I climbed onto the boared and sat facing Cody. "Just stay still, I don't want to fall off." He pulled me towards him by my thighs. "That's not staying still." I leaned into him. "Well maybe we don't always have to play by the rules." Our lips touched. "Do we?" He kissed me, I kissed back.

I screamed as a big wave came and knocked us both off the board and underwater. "I got salt in my mouth." I spat out the water, Cody laughed. "I can't touch the floor." I said and started to swim towards the beach. Cody stopped me after a while, I'm guessing he could touch the floor now.

I wrapped my arms and legs around him, he held me by my legs. "We're being watched." I looked over at the beach. "They've been there for a while." Cody said. "I don't understand how you don't get annoyed, I'd hate to have that everywhere I go." "I do get annoyed but I'm used to it."

I watched the paps as they took pictures of us. Cody moved his face close to mine, I moved back. "Why?" He questioned. "We have an audience." My eyes were glued to the paps. "Let's give them a show then." He whispered and connected our lips, I kissed back.

I played with his hair as we made out. "Can you stop sucking on each other's face for five seconds?!" Jake splashed us, I gave him a look. "Sometimes I wish you still hated each other." He sighed, I followed him out of the water.

Cody caught up with us. "Can I go on your shoulders?" "Seriously?!" He moaned. "Yup." I popped the 'p'. Cody sighed and went down on his knees. Jake stopped and waited for us, I sat on Cody's shoulders. "Hold my hands." I did as I was told, Cody stood up.

I almost fell back but then caught my balance. He held my thighs as he walked back to the others. "How do you carry her up there?" Angie asked. "She's not that heavy." "And he's strong." I patted his head, Cody laughed.

"We're thinking of having a barbeque on the beach tonight, are you three down?" "Yeah!" We all said at the same time, Brad laughed. "We're going to go shopping to buy the things we need, do you wanna stay here?" "Who's going?" Jake asked.

"All of us accept your mom and Angie, they're going home with Poppy for a little bit." "I'll go with you." He looked at Alli, she smiled. "Why?" Cody looked at him. "They might need some help." He shrugged. "Yeah but why did you look at Alli when you said that?"

"I was..I jus-" "Becuase he wanted to, now shh." I hit Cody's head lightly, he looked up. I leaned over and kissed his lips. "Be careful." Angie told us, I sat back up. "Why?" "You could fall." "Sorry mommy." I giggled, she laughed.

"Excuse me?" Cody turned around, there were two girls stood infront of us. One of them looked up at me and laughed, the other gave me a death stare. "Hey." Cody distracted her. "Can we get a picture with you please? We're big fans." The nice one smiled.

"Oh yeah sure." Cody said. "Don't drop me." I pleaded as he reached up for me. He lifted me up and put me on the floor infront of him. "Okay, maybe she is heavy." Cody turned at looked at his dad, Brad laughed.

"Did you see the way she looked at me?" I whispered to Jake as I watched Cody with his fans. "I know, she's just jealous." "He loves her too though." "He kisses you, he doesn't kiss her." "He literally just kissed her cheek." I looked at Jake.

"He'd never kiss her the way he kisses you, he'd never do half the things he does with you with anyone esle." I didn't say anything after that, I felt bad for Cody's fans. They do everything they can for him, they support him and love him so much yet only a small minority get to meet him. It's a real shame.

"Lauren?" Alli clicked her fingers infront of my face, I came out of my thoughts and looked at her. "Hmm?" I hummed. "We're going now." She said, I nodded. "See you later." I smiled and waved to everyone as they walked down the beach.

I sat on the sand, Cody was still talking with his fans. There were more of them now. I left them to it, it's only fair that they get time with him and only him. I layed down on my towel and relaxed under the golden sun.

"Don't be mean." I heard Cody's voice, I sat up again to listen to him. "I just don't see what you see in her, you could have so much more." The girl from earlier was talking to him, she was touching his arm and batting her eye lashes at him. That girl was flirting with my boyfriend!

"What could I have?" He asked her. "Me." She flashed him a flirty smile, he laughed slightly. "I'm sure that would be amazing." He looked her up and down. My mouth fell to the floor. Why was he flirting with her?! What is he playing at?! "Can I get your number?" She placed her hand on his chest and stepped closer to him.

My eyes were stuck on the two of them, I was in shock. Cody didn't move her or step away. They're way too close. "Sure." He got his phone out of his pocket and they exchanged numbers. All the other fans had walked away but she wouldn't leave him.

"Jenna?! Come on, we're leaving!" The girl's friend called her, she smiled at Cody and walked off with her. I quickly layed down before Cody could see I was watching or listening. I opened my eyes as he sat beside me, he smiled at me.

"So.. How's Jenna?" I smiled. "Don't." He looked at the ocean, I sat up. "Don't what?" "Don't start. She's a fan, well a friend now but don't get jealous." "Since when do friends get that close?" "How do you know how close she was?" Cody turned to look at me. I shrugged.

"You really don't trust me, do you?" "I do, I ju-" "Save it." He got up and walked away with his surfboard. "Where are you going?!" I called after him. "Where do you think?!" He spat at me, I felt my stomach drop. Why does he have to do this? I layed down and closed my eyes.

"Lauren..Wake up." I felt someone shake me, they spoke softly. I opened my eyes to see Alli. I smiled. "How long was I asleep?" I rolled onto my front and leaned on my elbow, Alli did the same. "I don't know, we've only just got back." "Where's Cody?" I looked over my shoulder.

"Him and Jake went off with these girls." I rolled my eyes. "Were they the girls Cody was talking to earlier?" "I think so." "Perfect." I said sarcastically and sat up. "Why? What's up with them?" "One of them was all flirty and kept touching Cody's arms and chest and she asked for his number and I don't know I just, it annoyed me." I hugged my knees.

"Cody gave her his number?" "Yes and he was flirting too, I watched him check her out." "Oh." Alli looked at the floor. "I can't believe him, if that was me he would of gone mental but as it's him it's okay. I just don't get it." "Me neither, it's a guy thing." "What's a guy thing?" Angie sat down next to me.

"Cody, he was flirting with this girl earlier and now he's with her again. If that was me, he would go mental." I told her. "Just leave him to it, don't give him any attention for it. He'll get bored when he realises you're not bothered by it." She advised, I nodded.

"Here they come, don't say a word." She said and got up. Alli got up and walked to Jake, Cody sat next to me. "Where have you been?" I asked. "Me and Jake met Jenna and Georgia." "Have fun?" I asked with a smile. "Uh.. Sure." He gave me a weird look.

"Good." I got up and walked over to where Brad was cooking the food. "When's dinner?" I asked. "Few minutes." He answered. "Whatever you said worked, he's confused already." Angie whispered in my ear. I smiled at her, she smiled back.

After dinner we went back to the hotel and got showered ready for bed. I walked onto the balcony and looked out at the view of the beach. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" Cody came up behind me. He wrapped his arms around my stomach and rested his chin on my shoulder.

"It is." "Do you wanna go in the hottub?" He whispered with his lips against my ear. "Now?" "Everyone's in bed." He kissed my ear. "I'll just go change." I unwrapped his arms from around me and walked inside, I quickly changed into my bikini.

It's neon green and strapless. The bottoms of the bikini were tied at either side of my hips. I walked back out, Cody watched me as I walked across the balcony. "I like this bikini. Why haven't I seen it before?" He wrapped his arms around my body.

"I have to keep some things from you." I kissed his shoulder. "This shouldn't of been one of them." He started to kiss my neck. I moved my head back to make it easier for him. I moaned when he hit my sweat spot, Cody lifted his head and smirked at me.

We got into the hottub and looked out at the view, I leaned my head on Cody's shoulder. "I could get used to this lifestyle." I confessed, Cody chuckled. "You have three more weeks of it." "I know, I don't want to go home though." "So Australia beats California?"

"No. They're different, I like different sometimes. Cali will always be home." "My California girl." He kissed my head. "Can we go out tomorrow night?" I looked at him. "Just me and you." I added. "I would love to but I'm busy." "What are you doing?"

"I'm going out with Jenna." "Huh?" "Jenna and I are going out." "Like a date?" I moved away from him. "No, not like a date. Just two friends going out to dinner." "Oh right okay, I understand." I said sarcastically. "What's that supposed to mean?" He asked.

"Nothing." I smiled. "Where are you going then?" "To bed." I wrapped myself in a towel and walked inside. I got dry and changed back into my pyjamas in the bathroom. I put my bikini outside to dry and then walked back inside. Cody was already in bed when I came back.

He moved the blankets for me to get in, I walked out. I layed down on the couch in the living room. I heard a door open. "Why won't you come to bed?" Cody asked. "I'm sleeping here tonight." "Please Lauren?" "Goodnight Cody." I closed my eyes.
