Chapter 25
04:22, 8 February 2014I woke up to an empty bed once again. I stretched out and then reached for my phone, I had no texts so I put it back down. I noticed a note on the pillow next to me, I picked it up.
Good morning baby. You looked so peaceful, I didn't want to wake you. I'm at the studio but I'll call you when I'm done and I'll come see you. I love you x
It had Cody's signature at the bottom, I smiled to myself and read it again. "What are you smiling at?" I heard Trey's voice. I looked at him. "Ever heard of knocking?" I asked. "What's up with you?" He questioned.
"You lied to me, I don't like liers." "I don't like the situation you're in but hey, we're both going to have to get over it." He smiled sarcastically, I picked up someone off my nighstand and threw it at him. "Get out!"
Once he left I got up and got ready for the day, following my usual routine. Once I was dressed I walked downstairs. "You're up late." My dad checked his wrist watch. "I was tried." I shrugged. "Cody already left." "I know, he left me a note."
"Can I sleep at Cody's tomorrow?" I asked. "Sure, just be careful." Dad warned. "Careful of what?" "Don't do anything stupid." "I wasn't going to?" I said confused. "You know what I mean, make sure you use prote-" "Dad, stop!" I put my hand up.
"I'm not having this conversation." I jumped off the counter and walked into the living room. "Is dad giving you trouble?" My mom asked me as I plopped onto one of the couches. "He's just being weird." "You still need to give me the gossip." She sat up, I did the same. "Okay well.." I sarted.
"My baby is all grown up!" Mom squieled and hugged me. I giggled and pushed her off me. "No, I'm just growing." I shrugged. "And tonight, I'm sleeping around Cody's." I smiled. "Be good." Mom smiled. "I'm always good." I smiled innocently and walked off.
I was on my laptop when my phone started ringing. "Simpson." "Miller." I smiled at the sound of Cody's voice. "I'm just leaving now so I'll be about a half hour, get some clothes ready for tomorrow." "Okay, see you soon." "Love you." "I love you too." I smiled and hung up.
I got up and packed some things I'd need and then went back on my laptop. I heard Cody's voice downstairs after a while. I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs. I jumped into his arms. "Cody!" I smiled and kissed his lips.
"Hey." He laughed. "I think you scared him, Lon." My dad laughed. "Always does." Cody messed my my hair. "Oi." I playfully hit him. "Anything planned for tonight?" Mom asked, I looked at Cody. He looked away. "Yeah, but she doesn't know."
"What are we doing?" I asked. Cody ignored me. "Any time you need her home tomorrow?" Cody asked, dad shook his head. "Late." I smiled. "Not too late." Cody told me, I rolled my eyes. "I swear you could be my dad." I said as I put my shoes on "That would be strange."
Cody grabbed my bag and walked to the front door. We left the house and got into the car, Cody chucked my bag in the back and started the engine. "What are we doing tonight?" I asked as Cody placed his hand on my thigh.
"We're going out." "I gathered, but where?" "Secret." "Well can I wear this?" Cody looked me up and down and then looked back at the road. "Alli will have something." He said. "Charming." I said sarcastically, Cody laughed. "It's a fancy place." He informed.
"Is that all you're going to give me?" "Looks like it." I sighed and looked out the window, I kicked off my shoes and put my feet on the dashboard. Cody glared at me. "What do you think you're doing?" "Relaxing." I smiled.
"Put your feet down, this car is my baby." "Tell me where we're going tonight." I tested, Cody laughed. "You're good, Miss Miller. You're good." I smiled in satisfaction. Cody ignored my smug look and carried on driving.
"Carry me into the house?" I begged as Cody opened his door. "I guess you should of kept your shoes on." He smiled and got out of the car. I didn't. Cody waited at the front door to lock the car, he rolled his eyes when he realised I wasn't moving.
He walked over to my door and opened it. "Get out." He leaned on the door. "I don't want to get my feet dirty." He sighed and picked me up, I smiled. "I'll get you back, just watch." "I'm better than you at this Simpson, when will you learn?"
He put me down inside the house and closed the door behind him. "Go talk to Alli, she knows where we're going tonight." "Will she tell me?" "No." He dismissed and walked back outside, I rolled my eyes and walked up the stairs.
"Allster!" I greeted as I walked into the room. "Allster?" Alli laughed at me. "I made it up." I shrugged and giggled. "Do you have anything I can wear to go out tonight?" I asked as I sat on the bed. "Yeah, what do you want?"
"I don't know, I don't know where we're going." "Well do you wa-" "She wants some kind of dress." I heard Cody say from the door, I turned to look at him. "Okay, any certain color?" Alli asked. "Black or red." He shrugged and walked away.
"Black." I said. "Good because I don't have any red dresses." We both laughed. Alli got out many dresses, the one we finally chose was amazing. It was simple but beautiful. It was tight around the waist and chest.
It was cut low at the back and had shape at the front, no sleeves or straps. The bottom half of the dress was flowy and finished a quater of the way down my thigh. We chose to curl the bottom six inches of my hair and leave the top straight.
Alli applied my makeup, I had skin tones and bronzes on my eyes along with winged eye liner. My lips were red. I had red heels on too, the heels were real high. I had perfume on and the necklace Cody got me, I never take it off.
Anyway, once I was ready we went to find Cody. "She's ready." Alli told him, he came out of his room. He looked good. He was wearing black skinny pants along with a navy blue tee. He had a jacket over the top, the jacket was a little lighter than his shirt. The sleeves were a darker blue and they were leather. Or at least they looked like leather.
Alli started to laugh, I looked at her. "You were both checking each other out at the same time, I found it funny." She held her hands up in surrender. I looked at Cody. "You ready?" I asked, he nodded.
"Mom, we'll be home quite later. Don't wait up." He said to Angie as he walked into the kitchen. "You guys look nice." She complimented. "Thank you." I smiled. "Yeah, thanks. Uh, we're going now." Cody pulled my hand.
Angie kissed his cheek. "Mom!" He moaned, I giggled. "You love it really." I teased. We left and got into his car. "It seems like we're always in here." I pointed out. "The only time we're really alone." Cody smiled.
I smiled too, he pulled onto the road and placed his hand on my thigh. "How far is this place?" I asked. "Not far." "How long?" "About this long." He held his hands a few inches apart. I rolled my eyes, he laughed and put his hands back where they were.
After about ten minutes we pulled up at an Itallian restraunt, I looked at Cody. "Are we eating here?" I asked, he nodded. "Yes!" I grinned. Cody got out of the car, he walked around to my door and opened it for me.
"Thank you." I smiled as I got out. I noticed there were some paps. "Take my hand." He held his hand out, I did so. "Don't pay them any attention." He told me, I nodded. We walked across the parking lot.
"I don't like it when you wear heels, you're almost as tall as me." He looked at my feet, I giggled. We walked into the restraunt. "We have a table reserved under Simpson." Cody said to the waiter. "Oh yes, come with me Mr Simpson." We followed him to our table.
"Thank you." I smiled as the waiter pulled my chair out for me to sit down. "Can I get you any drinks?" "Yes, we'll have two refilable colas please." Cody asked. "Come right up." The man smiled and walked away.
"It all looks so good." I said as I read the menu. "What are you having?" I asked. "Nothing I can spill down me." I laughed at him. "Don't want to look stupid now, do we Simpson?" I smiled. "No we don't." He said as he read the menu.
When the waiter came back we were ready to order, I tried not to laugh at Cody when he was ordering. He was trying to pronounce the Italian words but he was doing it wrong, it was so funny. "What was that about not wanting to look stupud?" I laughed as the waiter walked away. Cody let out a small laugh.
Once we were finished our dinner we left. "How come you said we were going to be late? It's only half nine." I said as I checked the time. "We're not going home yet." Cody started the engine. I looked out the window as we drove along the highway.
I loved all the lights of other cars and things. After a while we pulled up at my favorite beach, I looked at Cody. "If I ask you to wait in the car, will you?" Cody asked as he got out. I got out too. "Of course not." He said under his breath.
"I heard that." "Wait in the car." Cody said and walked onto the beach, he walked to the part of the beach that you can't see from the parking lot. A few minutes later he came back with a single rose in his hand.
He put it in his mouth and opened the car door. I took the rose out his mouth and smelled it. "Wow, you know your audience." I confessed. "There's more." He took my hand and helped me out of the car.
"Leave your shoes here." He told me as he threw his in the car, I did the same. We walked hand and hand along the beach. "Oh my gosh!" I put my hand over my mouth.
In the distance was a blanket, around the blanket was rose petals and candles in a heart shape. I looked at Cody, he was smiling at me. I ran over the the blanket and sat down. There was a basket in there.
"Chocolate covered strawberries?!" I got out the two bowels and placed them on the blanket. "Even better, Nutella covered strawberries." "When did you do this?!" "Maybe I wasn't at the studio all day." He smiled.
"I can't believe you." I told him. "Don't." "How has it been left all alone?" "The beach is all ours." He said, I stared at him. "Ho..How?!" "I know a lot of people." He played it cool. "You're not going to tell me, are you?" He shook his head.
"It's truly amazing." "You told me to prove how I love you, this is me proving it." He picked up a strawberry and fed me. I smiled as I finished my mouthful. "How do you come up with these ideas?" I asked curiously.
"For the whole time I've known you you've been going on about how you want movie love. The kind of corny but romantic things that happen in movies, you love it. I get my ideas from movies or my mom or Alli or even my fans."
I smiled at his answer. "You're amazing. Seriously amazing. I mean it." I looked him in the eye. "I just love to see you smile." I looked down and smiled. Cody lifted my chin and kissed me, I kissed him back.
After we finished our strawberries Cody got his guitar and started to play it, he sang me a few songs. "Teach me?" I asked. "How to play?" "Yeah." "Come here." He opened his arms for me. I sat inbetween his legs with my back to him.
Cody had his hands around me and the guitar was over the front of me. "I'll hold the chords, you do the strings." He told me as he placed my hand in the right place. We played for a little while, I learnt which strings to do and how to pull them.
"It's getting late, we better get home." Cody said, I got up. "What about all this?" "What about it?" "Do we need to take it home or what?" "Go get in the car." Cody handed me his keys. I walked back to the car and got in.
I rested my head on the window, I was so sleepy. My eyelids got real heavy real quick. The next time I opened my eyes we were moving, I lifted my head up. I looked at Cody, he kept looking from me to the road.
"You alright, sleepy?" Cody asked, I nodded. "I'm tired." "I know, I'm getting you home as quick as possible." He said. I looked at the road ahead of us. "How long was I sleeping?" "About 20 minutes, I had to do your belt for you. You were passed out when I got back to the car." He smiled.
"Why are you smiling?" "You looked adorable." His smile grew, I smiled too. We stopped on the driveway. "Wait there." Cody said, I did as I was told. He walked round and got me out the car. He carried me into the house bridal style.
He walked upstairs and layed me down on his bed. "I'll be back in a minute." He placed my shoes on the floor and walked out the room again. I didn't move, I just looked around the room. I heard the door close, I looked over.
"You need to change before you sleep, baby." "I'm too tired." I moaned. "Can you do it?" I added. He sighed and got out one of his shirts. He crawled up to me on the bed. He lifted me up slightly so he could unzip my dress.
"Wait, I have no bra on." I stopped him. "It's not like I've never seen before." He pulled my dress off me and put it on the floor, I covered myself. Cody moved my hands. He leaned over and kissed my lips.
"Just relax, trust me." He whispered against my lips. He sat up again and to his shirt ready to put on me. "Arms up." I did as I was told. He slid the shirt down my body, he didn't pull it past my stomach, I crawled up the bed and got under the blankets.
I watched Cody take off his shirt, he turned looked at me. My eyes met his, he smiled and carried on. I continued to watch him undress, I took in all of his features. The way he moved, how his body was sculptured perfectly. All of his facial features.
He got under the sheets with me and pulled me close to him. "You're special, you know that?" He asked. "When I'm with you I know it." I confessed. "You shouldn't need me to make you feel special." "I'm always an option or second best."
"You're compolsury for me and definatly the best." He kissed my temple, I smiled to myself. I pulled the sheets over us and snuggled my face into his neck. "I love you." Cody whispered, I smiled. "I love you too." I whispered back.
