Chapter 24

I woke up alone in my bed, I swear I fell asleep with Cody. I looked around the room, my pyjamas were on the floor. I groaned and got out of bed. My body felt heavy, I got into the shower and washed my body. Once I was done I dried myself and got ready for the day.

"Morning." I smiled as I walked into the kitchen. "Where did you get to last night?" Dad asked me. "I was tired, I went to bed." I said as I sat on the counter. Dad raised his eyebrows and smirked. "And Cody was just tucking you in?" He asked.

I shrugged and nodded. I noticed my mom had a smirk on her face too, I gave them a weird look. "What?" I asked. "How dumb do you think we are?" I smirked and walked out of the room. "I wanna talk to the boy." I heard my dad call after me.

"Trey beat you to it." I shouted back as I walked up the stairs. I picked up my phone and rang Cody. "Good morning, sleepyhead." Cody's voice filled my ears, I smiled. "Good morning, baby." "How are you?" "I'm good. When did you leave last night?"

"You were really tired so I got dressed and left you once you had fallen asleep." "Oh right, what are you doing today?" "I'm spending the day with my baby." I smiled. "I'll pick you up in a bit, yeah?" He added. "Yeah." "Be ready." "I will."

"Okay, see you later." "Love you." "Love you too." He hung up, I slid my phone in my bra as I was wearing a skirt. I made sure my outfit looked okay. I had a black tight top on, the bit that goes around my neck was lace. I also had a light blue short skirt on which was loose.

I heard the doorbell go off and walked downstairs. My dad had already answered the door and was talking to Cody. "What's up?" I greeted as I put on some shoes. "I was just talking to your boyfriend over here." My dad said.

"I noticed." I smiled and stood infront of Cody. "I'll see you later." Cody said to my dad. "Yeah, love you daddy!" I hugged him and then walked to the passengers side of the car. "No kiss?" Cody asked and pouted.

"Come get me." I opened my arms for him, he pushed me against the car with his body as he kissed me. "Hey." He whispered against my lips. "Hi." I answered and pecked his lips once more. "Let's go." I opened the door and sat down.

"Where to, Miller?" Cody asked, I shrugged. "Anywhere, Simpson." "Let's go for a drive." He pulled out of the drive. He placed his hand on my leg like normal. "Cody, can you teach me to drive?" I asked. "I'm not old enough." "No one has to know, I wanna drive."

"We'll go to somewhere private and you can drive there." "Like where?" "Like a dirt road or something, no one goes down them." "Really?!" I sat up. Cody laughed but kept his eyes on the road.

Cody stopped at what looked like an old parking lot. There was a layer of dried mud over it and no one else was here. "What is this place?" I asked. "I don't know, I found it yesterday when I was looking for you." Cody said and got out of the car.

I did the same and we switched sides. Cody threw the the keys, I caught them. I got into the car and buckled up. "Okay, put the key in." "Is this legal?" I asked before doing it. "I don't know, just do it." He told me, I put it in.

"Turn in." I did as I was told and then engine started. "Okay now slowly push the pedal down." "Okay." I looked down at my feet. "No, eyes up." He pushed my chin upwards. I looked out the windscreen and we started to move.

"This is weird." I confessed, Cody laughed. He wouldn't keep his eyes off me, he was monitoring everything I was doing. "I'm not five, you don't have to watch every move I make." "When you're driving my baby I do." I laughed.

After a while of driving around, we switched back. "Can we go eat?" I asked. "Sure, where?" "The pancake house!" I shouted happily. Cody laughed and started to drive. I moved one of his hands of the steering wheel and onto my leg.

Cody looked at me and then back to the road. "You like it?" He asked. "It makes me feel closer to you." I confessed, Cody slid his hand higher up my thigh. "No." I moved it back down my leg. "Worth a try." He shrugged. I laughed at him.

Once Cody stopped the engine I got out the car and walked into the restraunt. As soon as Cody followed me everyone seemed to turn their head. "Welcome to my world." He laughed and walked to the waiter. I followed after him.

"Table for two please?" He asked. "Come with me, sir." "Lauren?" Cody called and walked off, I followed. We sat down and odered our food. A fan came over and Cody took a picture with her. "Can I get a picture with you too, please?" She looked at me, I smiled and nodded. "You're an amazing dancer, I love you so much!" She hugged me.

"Aw, thank you. I love you too." I hugged her back and then we took a picture together. "That was sweet." I smiled as I sat back down. "You are an amazing dancer." He said, I grinned. "You wanna know what esle you're good at?" He winked.

I kicked his leg under the table. "Ouch!" He jumped and held his leg. "Well shut up then." I crossed my arms. "Sorry, mom." He said sarcastically. I raised an eyebrow, he smirked. "Okay, I'm sorry!" Cody laughed, I rolled my eyes.

Once we were done eating we left and went back to Cody's house. "Hey kids." Brad greeted as we walked into the kitchen. "Sup." I popped the 'p'. "Have you eaten?" Angie asked, I nodded. "We went to the pancake house." Cody told her.

"Codes, can we go swimming?" I asked as I looked at the pool. "Go borrow one of Alli's bikinis." "I was going to." I giggled and walked up the stairs. "She's not in." Angie told me. "Tommy!" I saw him in the hall.

"Lauren!" He hugged me. "I didn't see you yesterday, I fell asleep before you came home." "I know, I'm sorry." I appologised. "It's okay, Cody said you were busy." He smiled and walked away, I walked into Alli's room and changed into one of her bikinis.

We'd been in and out of the pool for a while and now it's getting dark. "We should go inside. I need to go home." I said. "Watch the sun go down and then I'll take you home." Cody swam over to me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and and my legs around his waist.

"Sleep here tonight?" Cody asked. "Not tonight, tomorrow maybe." "Why not tonight?" He kissed my neck. "I want to be at home, Lilly's having a sleepover with her friends and they'll want me to do things with them." "I want you." He left soft kisses on my shoulder.

"I know but like I said, tomorrow." "No, tonight." He whispered in my ear and then kissed it. "Cody.." I moaned, he smirked as he kissed my neck. I knew he was doing this to get his own way. "Let's go inside, you're obviously not watching the sun." I pushed him back and swam away.

Cody grabbed my leg and pulled me back to him. "Cody!" I kicked him with the other leg, he caught it. "No!" I giggled and sqirmed. Cody laughed at me, I wrapped my arms around his neck once again.

Cody wrapped my legs back around his waist. "Come on, Lauren." He begged, I rolled my eyes. "No!" "Why?" "I told you!" "Please?" He gave me puppy eyes, I looked away. "Stop, you know I can't say no to that." He added a pout to his cute face.

"Sleep around mine." I sighed, Cody grinned. He kissed my nose and let go of my legs. "But you're not allowed to use that ever again." I said as I swam off. "And we're only sleeping, nothing else." I added.

"I can change your mind." He smirked as he followed me out of the pool. I put my hands on my hips. "No, no you can't." "Watch me." He said and walked inside the house with his towel. I rolled my eyes as I picked up my towel.

"Your dad still needs to talk to me." Cody said as he started the engine in his car. "I know." "What's it about?" "I have no clue." I lied. "Alright." He pulled out of the drive. I watched him drive, Cody looked at me and then back to the road.

He put his hand on my leg, I smiled and looked out the window. Cody laughed lightly. We drove back to mine in silence, but it wasn't awkward. Once we pulled up on the drive I walked straigh into the house to be greeted by three six-year-olds.

The three of them ran over and hugged my legs. "Hey girlies!" I bent down and hugged them. "I haven't seen you in forever!" Amy said and pouted. "I know." I copied her and she giggled. "Mommy's gone to the shops to buy us some sweeties." Lilly told me.

"Okay." I smiled. "Go play your games, I'll be back in a bit." I said and walked past them "Cody, stay here!" Lilly pulled on his arm. "I'll come back down in a minute." Lilly put her hands on her hips. "Oh would you look at that, just like her big sister." Cody laughed.

"Oi!" I hit him playfully. "So sorry." He said sarcastically, the girls laughed at him. "Let's play hide and seek, I'll count and you girls hide!" Cody said, the girls ran off and we walked upstairs. "You know you're going to have to go find them?" I asked.

"Yeah, I didn't think that through." Cody laughed as he collapsed on my bed. "Chop chop, go find them." I clapped my hands. Cody sighed and got up. I laughed slightly and changed into my pyjamas.

I got out all the makeup I could find out along with my hair things and took them into the living room. "Where's loverboy?" Dad asked as he watched me set up my things. "He's playing hide and seek with the girls." I smiled. "Isn't he precious?!" My dad teased, I laughed.

I felt someone jump on my back. "Jazzy!" I held onto her arms and flipped her over onto the floor. She laughed and rolled around and then jumped up. "Are we doing makeup?!" She asked as she jumped around. "Yeah!" I cheered."I'll go get the others!" She ran off. I sighed.

"How do they have so much energy?" I asked my dad. "You were just like that once, when you and Trey were litle you were worse. The two of you would run around everywhere and jump and climb and so many other things." He smiled, I smiled too.

Cody, Amy and Jazmyn came into the room with Lilly on Cody's back. "Have you seen Lilly? I can't find her anywhere." Cody played. The three girls giggled. "Nope, no where." I shrugged. "I'll just lay here then." Cody layed on the floor.

"Noooo!" Lilly screamed as he layed on her. "I found her!" Cody laughed and started to tickle her, the other girls layed down with Lilly so he could do it to them too. I pulled out my phone and filmed it, it was adorable.

I posted the video on instagram with the caption "You could call this cute" I watched as all the likes and coments came through. "Cody, can I talk to you?" My dad asked, Cody looked at him. "Oh, uh, Sure." He got up and then walked out of the living room.

"Cody!" Jazzy went to follow him but I caught her shirt. "Let's do your makeovers while he's gone." I suggested, she grinned and sat down. The three of them sat in a row, I smiled. "Who's first?" "ME!" They all shouted together. I laughed.

"How about we start with Amy and then Lilly and then Jazzy?" "But I don't want to be last." Jazmyn pouted. "You can take it in turns with going first, I'll do your hair first and Lilly's nails first." I said and started on Amy's makeup.

After a half hour I was finished, the girls went to look in the massive mirror in my room. "Are you finished?" Cody asked as he sat on the couch. I nodded and sat with him. "What did dad say?" "You know what he said." I smiled.

"Don't worry." He kissed my temple. "I told you it would be fine." He added. "I just worry." "Too much." The three girls walked into the room. "Oh wow!" Cody sat up. "I'm dating the wrong sister." He said as he kissed Lilly's cheek.

I kicked him playfully, he smirked at me. "Can we do your makeup now?" The girls asked me. "How about we all do Cody's makeup?" I asked, they all jumped up and down. Cody shot me a look. "That'll teach you to push me." I smirked and sat on the floor.

"And now, we'll do your nails!" Lilly picked up a pink nail polish, Jazzy picked up a blue one and Amy picked up a sparkly purple one. I giggled at Cody's unimpressed reaction. I took pictures while they did it and once they were done. "That's one for twitter." I smirked as I uploaded it. "I actually hate you." Cody said. "Go check yourself out." I pointed to the door. "Girls, take the things up to my room and put them on my bed. Cody will help you." I said.

I sat on the couch and closed my eyes. I felt someone sit on the couch, I looked at them. "Smart move." My mom laughed. "I'm an evil genius." I smiled. "Bedroom now." I heard Cody's voice, I looked at him.

"You look very beautiful." I smirked as I walked over to him. "Trey's going to be back with dinner in a few minutes." My dad said as he walked in and sat on the couch. "You can't take your makeup off yet." I said, my mom and dad laughed.

We walked up to my bedroom. "I have makeup wipes in my bathroom." I told him, he walked in there. I put all my things away. "Much better." I kissed Cody's lips. "How do I get the nail polish off?" "I'll do that later." I said.

After dinner the girls came to my room with us and we all watched Dispicable Me 2 in my bed. As soon as they fell asleep we put them into their own beds. "You do that every single time?" Cody asked as he sat on the bed. "It's called being a big sister." I shrugged.

"She's not going to be little forever, none of them are so I just enjoy it while it lasts." I confessed. "You don't want her to grow up, do you?" He read my mind. "No, I want her to stay a baby forever. I still remember the first time I met her." I started.

"She was this tiny little thing, 7 pounds and 11 ounces. I held her tightly in my arms and she grabbed my finger, I knew I wasn't going to let anything hurt this little girl. She was and still is everything to me. She's like my best friend and I'd never trade her for anything, I love her so much. I've never seen anything as being perfect but she is the closest thing to it." I felt a tear slide down my cheek.

Cody wiped it away with his thumb. He didn't say anything though, it didn't take me long to realise I'd never told anyone that in my life. I let another wall down, it didn't take any pushing. I just let him in, it shocked me.

"Want me to take your nail polish off now?" I broke the silence. Cody laughed and nodded. I got up and walked into the bathroom. I came back and knelt over Cody's lap. I had a leg on either side of him.

I picked up his hand and took of the polish finger by finger. He watched me do it in silence, I think this is the longest we've gone without talking. Once I was done I took the things back and then got into bed with him.

I felt his arms wrap around my stomach and pull me closer to him, I turned to face him. I placed my head on his shoulder, his arms were still wrapped around me. I traced my fingertips over his abs lightly.

Cody moaned softly, I looked at him. He had his eyes closed still. I continued to do it, it made me sleepy. I felt him slide my shirt up slighlty to expose my stomach. He lightly skimmed the skin on my side with his fingertips. I felt my whole body completely relax into his.
