Chapter 30

Chapter 30:

(RAIN'S POV)

"We will make camp here. After that, Rain I will like to train you." Itachi informed us. We've been walking for about four-five hours non-stop. No one has come after us, not that we know of. I looked around at the spot Itachi decided to pick. 

We were to camp inside a cave, Kisame informed me that normally Itachi would just rush back home, but in this case. He rather take his time. 

"Hai." I replied before setting my things down. All I had was a tiny gourd that held half water and half sand. Mao slipped it into my pocket while I wasn't looking, though I discovered it after I talked to Ookami. I also had a small medical kit, and my ninja pouch. 

 I have a feeling we'll be working with my Sharingan, even though I only trained with it a little, I was able to some how get through the stages easily and fast. But, I still need to train with it. 

After setting my things down and poking Sushi, I walked over to Itachi and followed him to a clearing. 

"You seem to be doing well with your Sharingan. Though there is a jutsu you must learn, for all Uchiha gets to learn this jutsu when they're at the right age. You are a little above the age at which most Uchiha children learned this jutsu. But you should use that to you advantage, for you are more experienced. The jutsu is Fire Style: Fireball jutsu. You must weave the Snake, Ram, Monkey, Boar, Horse, and Tiger hand signs to complete this jutsu." Itachi explained. I nodded, I've seen Sasuke use this jutsu plenty of times. 

Itachi walked up before weaving the hand signs needed for this jutsu, he then blew out a ball of fire. 

I walked up next to him and weaved the signs, projecting the correct amount of chakra to complete this jutsu. I took a deep breath before blowing it out, a small ball appeared and then disappeared. I sighed, that was so tiny, it was like the size of a softball ;-; 

Itachi chucked under his breath as I shot him a glare. He smiled and poked my forehead. "You actually did wonderful, mostly it'll take a while for someone to even make that size. Keep trying, you should be able to master this jutsu by the end of the day." Itachi said. I nodded and returned to my training.

"Fire Style: Fireball jutsu!" I yelled, I breathed in some air before blowing it out, a huge fireball was formed. I did it! I finally did it! Just like Itachi said, it was starting to get dark. I finally got the damned jutsu down .-.

Itachi had a small smile on his face, pride danced in his eyes. "Like I said, the end of the day." Itachi came over and placed a hand on my shoulder. 

"Father would've been proud. So would mother." He whispered gently, I couldn't help but to grin. Just knowing that I would've been able to make my parents proud filled me with joy. 

Itachi walked to the other end of the field before a ball of fire was shot at me. Oh man, what a drag. I sighed before both our ball of fire collided. I hurried and jumped back before two kunais was shot at me through the smoke. I activated my Sharigan before using my sand to block the kunais. This time, no holding back. 

Itachi appeared behind me so I transported myself behind him. "Water Style: Raging waves." A beam of water shot from my mouth to the back of Itachi's back. Though he exploded into a flock of crows. I cursed under my breath, a clone damn it. 

I then felt weird, a weird sensation..the only time I feel this is when I'm placed in a genjutsu.. Itachi, seriously, what a drag. I sat down, criss crossed before focusing my chakra. Itachi's genjutsus weren't regular ones, it took a lot to actually break free of them. 

But I haven't looked into his eyes the whole time we were fighting... Wait... Nevermind got it, when I finally got the jutsu down I looked into his eyes, that's when he got me. Smart. You know when you get those weird urges to crawl into a hole and die? Yeah I got that right now. 

How am I going to break out of this genjutsu? Sora is extremely good at detecting genjutsus, but also breaking out of it. I'm alright with both. But Sora used to teach me all the time, though everything I've tried isn't working. 

Itachi's genjutsu is too strong for everything Sora had teach me.  I know people have used Sharigan to break out of genjutsus, but how do I do it? 

"Rai, how could you do this to us? You took us away from all our loved ones. We hate you, you're a disgrace, a monster, hated by all!" Sora and Mao voiced ranged all around me. I clenched my hands over my ears, I need to hurry up and find a way out of this genjutsu before it destroys me. 

Holy fucking crap, I know this is a genjutsu but it feels so real. I turned my head sideways to see Sora and Mao, though I couldn't see their faces. All I could see is there mouth, they kept on repeating the same thing over and over again. 

"We hate you, we hate you." Is all I could hear. I fall to my knees,  tears pricked my eyes. It feels so real, so damn real. It starts getting hard to breath, I need to think. I slowed down my breathing and wiped my tears away. I can do this, I can break out of this. 

I sat crossed-legged, my hands clamped together. Without my hands around my ears Sora's and Mao's chant began to get louder and louder. Sweat dripped down my face, I need to break out of this and fast. 

I've already tried to break out of it with my Sharingan, since Itachi knows how the Sharigan works, he somehow made it impossible for me to break out of it with that. Though I do not know how he made it possible, like seriously Itachi, cut me some slack man. 

What are other ways..... I could cause harm to myself or get my tailed beast to do it... I unwrapped my necklace from my neck and channeled my chakra to each chakra string, the crystal then turned into a kunai. 

If this doesn't work then I either have to wait until Itachi breaks it, or get help from my tailed... "friends". I positioned the kunai above my stomach. I couldn't think straight.. What's wrong with me? I lowered my kunai. I used to be badass with breaking genjutsu.. Why the hell couldn't I remember that in the beginning? 

This is all so confusing.. I couldn't remember that I actually broke a bunch of genjutsus in my life.. That Sora taught me all kinds of ways to break out of a genjutsu. I didn't even try my Sharingan.. Why did I think I tried it?

Itachi, what the fuck are you doing? 

So many questions left unanswered. I sighed and stood up. I need to calm down and figure this all out. It's so damn confusing I can't wrap my mind around it. 

Okay first things first, I started thinking that I actually tried to use my Sharingan to break out of this genjutsu which I didn't. I didn't even try what Sora taught me. Then I tried to impale myself in the stomach with a kunai. (Thanks Itachi ;-;)..He's putting thoughts into my head. 

That's something, he's starting to put thoughts into my head, another thing is that he's trying to mentally destroy me (Again thanks Itachi .-.) With Mao and Sora.. What kind of genjutsu is this? 

But by knowing all of this, does that mean I'm semi breaking out of the genjutsu? Hmm. How do I used my Sharingan?... It seems I deactivated my Sharingan in some point of time, I activated it again. Normally one is able to break out of a genjutsu with their Sharingan.. Soo... Do I wave a wand around and say magic words or some crap?

Ugh, SHARINGAN USE YOUR POWERS AND BREAK ME OUT OF THIS DAMNED GENJUTSU SO THAT I CAN CHOP ITACHI IN THE FUCKING FACE AND KICK HIS ASS.

Suddenly Mao's and Sora's chant stopped, my vision blured a bit before returning. I looked around seeing that my mind finally returned to reality. Itachi was standing in front of me, I looked down so he wouldn't be able to catch me in another genjutsu.

"You know, that was extremely fucked up." I said while tying my necklace back around my neck. Judging by the sound, Itachi is currently moving towards me. I've trained for situations like these. I had to blind fold my eyes and be able to sense a person and their chakra. Also, I was too attempt to figure out the jutsu they were going to use. Don't ask me how I did it because I don't even know. 

Specks of sand flew out of my gourd and onto the ground. I smirked under my mask, I got you now. I grabbed three kunais and threw it at Itachi, he dodged it easily, as suspected. My sand flew up and into his face. I quickly looked up as Itachi went up to rubbed the sand away. 

Okay, Itachi basically has no damn weaknesses. Even though I've only knew him for a couple of days, I have been able to see him fight. And I've fought him. His only weakness would probably if I were able to be quicker than him. I'm pretty quick, but no entirely as quick as Itachi. Plus he'll probably see me coming before I even do..

Wait..Itachi's stamina does suck. Plus, he is more suited for fighting one on one.... Bingo. 

I did hand signs for the multi-shadow clone jutsu, my clones surrounded Itachi. I need to use my speed and brain for this. Itachi is going to be able to see my movements easily.. Hmm, even if I don't use hand signs would he still be able to track my movements?

Probably...I just have to keep on attacking until he gets tired, or when I'm rolling on the ground in pain. Either one. What a drag, let's do it! 

"Ready, steady, go. Don't die." I told my clones, they all nodded at me. It's actually creepy being able to make clones, like... It's you! But like.. a bunch of you o.o It's weird. 

Since genjutsus don't work on clones I decided to let them fight now. It was quite refreshing c: 

Though I don't understand, Itachi doesn't really like fighting unless he has too.. Why is he fighting me now? To see my abilities? But couldn't he see them when I was fighting the other Akatsuki's members?

"Don't hold back. I know you are." Itachi said. I looked up and shook my head. I trained enough with my sand and water, I've almost mastered every jutsu and techniques that uses them. I've even made up my own. I'm trying to practice and train with my regular jutsus, and try to focus on taijutsu, ninjutsu (Without my sand and water) and my genjutsu.

Whenever I use my water now it's just my chakra nature, me being able to control water and my chakra nature being water is actually different from each other. My water reacts like Gaara's sand. My chakra nature is being able to use water style jutsus. See? 

But Sora, Mao, and I all agreed to hold back so that we won't cause to much attention to ourselves. Almost all my clones were gone already. Damn it, I'm not going to lose. Let's see how good my taijutsu is. 

I ran up behind Itachi as he turned around and threw a punch, I was able to dodge it and throw a kick, Itachi blocked it with his arms. I need my attacks to have more speed and power to it. I jumped up and kicked at Itachi, with more force and power. Even though he blocked it easily, the power pushed him back a couple feet. 

That's it. With every kick and punch, it needs power and force. Even though Itachi would be able to probably block all of them, it'll tire him out quite quickly.

(KISAME'S POV)

It was getting quite late, Itachi and Rain was still out training. I wonder how that's going. It's quite odd seeing Itachi the way he is around Rain. He seems happy, it's actually creepy. I sighed as I stood up. 

I should go check on them to make sure they didn't kill each other, oh how sad that would be. I've  actually started getting use to Rain. 

Hmm, now where are they? I walked out of the cave and into the night. It was quite chilly out, I wonder what time it is. Oh well, I just started walking, theres a clearing up ahead that I recall seeing Itachi and Rain walking to.

I finally got to the clearing, since it was dark out my eyes had to adjust for a moment. I finally saw the figures of my two teammates. Itachi was lying against a rock, Rain was lying on the ground next to him. It seems like they both exhausted themselves. 

Rain was actually able to bring Itachi down? It seems like Rain brought herself down in the process but wow. I kneel down and picked up Rain. She was extremely light, she was also tiny too. Well compared to me she was. 

Itachi's eyes snapped open before it met mine, he looked pretty tensed, though he relaxed when he saw Rain in my arms. He nodded at me before standing up. I followed him out of the clearing and back to the cave. 

Rain stirred before her eyes opened, red scarlet eyes met mine before it was replaced with blue ones. 

"Itachi." She said, Itachi looked up and walked over. 

"Yes?" 

"I totally kicked your ass." 

I HONESTLY HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THIS CHAPTER WAS GOING. 

What a drag man ;-;
