Chapter 24

(RAI'S POV)

"Oh my god. What the fuck?" My jaw dropped at the sight of Mao. We finally got to the village, it wasn't far at all. But Mao had bright yellow noddle colored hair, exactly like Naruto's. Also, she had purple lines all over her left side of her body.

She told me that it was because she had finally entered the final stage of a shoton. The lines represents the crystals in her body.

"So those lines just appeared out of no where?" Sushi asked. Mao grinned up and nodded. "It mean's I'm finally a fully develop shoton!" It started forming when we were walking to the village.

Like one moment she's clear of purple lines, next she has a bunch all over her left side of her body. Also, her eyes turned bright blue.

"When you finally get to the final stage of a shoton, you're appearance may change a bit. Sometimes people hair color changes, sometimes their eye color changes, or lines appear on their skin to represent the crystals flowing through their body." Mao explained.

"That's very interesting." Itachi said. Ookami nodded in agreement. "You look just like Naruto it's crazy." He said. Mao giggled. "It's weird isn't it?" She said. I nodded in agreement.

"Hey Sora, are you done yet?" Ookami called out. We heard some rustling behind the door to the dressing room.

"Yeah! Almost done!" She called out. She was washing out her hair and getting dress into new clothes.

"This is weird." Mao giggled. I nodded. "You look weird, yet awesome, but weird at the same time." I laughed. Mao started twirling around, she still had her old clothes since it still fitted her. I didn't really get anything change. I just change my outfit a bit and grabbed a mask.

"Alright. I'm done." Sora called out. We all looked up, Mao gasped, Ookami's jaw dropped, Sushi grinned, Itachi just nodded.

"Whoa, you look weird." I exclaim. Sora rolled her eyes. "Thanks Rain I really appreciate that." She said while sticking her tongue out at me. I laughed and shook my head.

"Don't worry it's in a good way!" I said while throwing my hands up and laughing. Sora grinned at me and laughed.

"Now that we're are done, we should get going." Itachi said. We all nodded and grabbed our mask.

Mao had this blue and white one, the only thing that would show is her eyes. Sora had this purple and white one, again the only thing that is showing is her eyes. I had this black clothed one, similar to Kakashi's. We all put our masks on, Itachi nodded and we hurried out of the village.

"You guys look different, it's weird." Ookami mumbled to me. I laughed and nodded. "New appearances, new place, new life." I said back, Ookami gave me a wolfy smirked and nodded.

Itachi looked back at me and smiled, I waved at him. He couldn't really see me smile so.. Yeah.. Itachi slowed down a bit and let Mao and Sora pass him, Sushi and them two were sprinting away.

"Rain." Itachi said, I looked at him and nodded. "Itachi." I replied back, he smiled at me. Ookami speed up a bit probably knowing that Itachi and I wanted some bonding time.

"When we get to the base, we're going to have some bonding time. I want know all about you." Itachi said. I laughed and nodded. "I wanna know about you too." I replied. Itachi smiled slightly and nodded.

"It's crazy, how I finally found you." Itachi said, he shook his head. "You look just like mother." He added. "How was mother? Was she caring and nice?" I asked. Itachi nodded. "She was caring and nice, she always knew what to say at the right moment. You would've loved her. You got her personality and how protective you are over everyone, she used to be like that too. She sang to Sasuke and I. She had a beautiful voice." Itachi explained with a small smile.

I grinned, "She sounds amazing." I replied. Itachi nodded. "We should catch up with the others. We don't want them to be little us." Itachi said. I let out a lively laugh and nodded. I grabbed his hand, I then pinpointed Ookami's location, and transported us there. Itachi wobbled a bit before balancing himself.

"THAT'S CHEATING!" Mao exclaimed, she landed on a branch next to us, Sora, Sushi, and Ookami followed closely. "I'm training, what can I say?" I said while giving them a peace sign. Itachi smirked slightly but went back to his ._. face.

"Let's go slow pokes!" I yelled as I darted away. "OH COME ON RAI NO FAIR!" Sora yelled behind me. Ookami growled a little before speeding up to me, Itachi and Sushi was by my side in a minute. Mao was jumping from tree to tree yelling and whooping. Sora was trailing behind us slightly before she speeded up.

"We should get to the base in no time." Sushi said while smirking. I looked up at him and nodded. HE'S SO FREAKING TALL WHAT IS LIFE?! WHY IS EVERYONE SO TALL AND THEN THERES ME. LIKE FUCK NO.

"WHY IS EVERYONE SO FUCKING TALL IT'S NOT FAIR! HN!" I yelled and sprinting off. Kisame started laughing as he speed up beside me.

"In time little one." He said with his sharky smirk. I rolled my eyes. "Itachi said the same thing, Sushi what am I going to do? My biggest fear in life is.. BEING SHORT FOREVER! I'M NEVER EVER GONNA BE ABLE TO REACH THE RAMEN ON THE TOP SHELF" I yelled. Mao and Sora took off their masks before they both grinned at me.

Mao started giggling like crazy, Sora was on a branch holding her stomach and wiping tears from her eyes. Sushi was laughing, Itachi shook his head and laughed a little. Ookami just rolled his eyes.

"We'll make sure to put it on the bottom shelf, just for you...shortie." Sushi said. I narrowed my eyes at him and threw a kunai at him, he easily blocked it and grinned at me. "That wasn't nice." He said. I shrugged. Itachi shook his head and I started laughing. Sushi joined it.

"You guys are odd." Itachi said as he ran ahead. I rolled my eyes again and followed closely. "We're almost there." He informed us. Man, this is going to be interesting. "PLOT TWIST MAO ACTUALLY HAS A BROTHER THAT'S IN THE AKATSUKIS!" Sora yelled. HOLY SHIT THAT WOULD BE FUNNY AS FUCK.

"Dude, Kakashi did say he didn't know mom and dad had another kid." Mao said with wide eyes. I gasped. "No way o.o" Mao groaned. "Man that would be messed up." She said, Sora nodded. "I would be laughing." I said while grinning, not like anybody could see it but yeah.

"Of course you would!" Mao said while rolling her eyes. I shrugged. "Now that it brought it to my attention, she does look a bit like Deidara, doesn't she Itachi?" Sushi said. Itachi looked at Mao before looking straight ahead.

"Yes" Itachi said while nodding. Mao's eyes widen before she shook her head. "That would be crazy if I was related to this "Deidara" guy. ANOTHER BROTHER LIKE WHOA." Mao squealed. Such an odd child. Sora rolled her eyes and I laughed. Sushi smirked again and Itachi shook his head.

(SORA'S POV)

Mao was giggling and Rai was laughing. Life was good, sure I missed Kosuke and the leaf and the sand and all my friends and ramen and many other things. But as long as I have my sisters with me, I'm all good.

Rai's laughing stopped abruptly before she started coughing like crazy. I looked at her seeing her leaning on a tree trunk coughing out blood. "RAI!" I yelled, Itachi and Ookami was by her side in a second. Itachi quickly looked her over, I went by her side and used my byakugan, I scan her quickly seeing no physical injures.

"No physical injures." I informed Itachi and Ookami, Itachi nodded. Mao started to heal her heart? "Mao why are you healing her heart?" I asked. Mao narrowed her eyes at Rai.

"The tailed beasts, they're doing something to her. Something to her heart and mind." Mao informed us. I gasped and looked into Rai's mind. A bunch of activity is going on there. Itachi mumbled slightly. Rai started coughing violently.

"I thought she had all of them under control!" I exclaim. Mao nodded. "I did too, but that's the only thing that could be happening right now." Mao said while shaking her head.. Think Sora think.. Dammit... Tailed beasts. No physical injures. Heart and Mind. Emotions. Control. GOT IT!

"Mao, Rai controls the tailed beast right?" I asked. Mao nodded.

"Rai feels the tailed beasts emotions right?" Mao nodded again.

"Doesn't that mean the tailed beast can feel Rai's emotions?" Mao nodded.

"Yeah, it does. What does that have to do with it though? Rai seems fine." Mao said while frowning. "Exactly, she seems fine. Maybe one of the reason why Rai had the tailed beasts under control was because she was calm, collective, had her life in order, and she was pretty self confident. So the tailed beast felt that way. But if Rai were depressed, confused, hurt, sad, and heart broken, the tailed beasts would feel that way too. And when tailed beast are depressed, confused, hurt, sad, and heart broken they're gonna do shit." I explained.

Mao's eyes widen and she nodded. "Basically the tailed beast are ..tailed beasts not friends right now?" Mao asked. I nodded.

"Rai isn't used to it, she used to them cooperating, plus she's not really mentally stable right now." I explained further. Mao shook her head.

"It's not that she isn't used to it, Rai is prepared for almost anything and everything, plus Rai is very self confident. She's just heart broken. You know how she is." Mao said. I sighed.

"She didn't want to hurt the people she loves. She beating herself up because of the accident." I said. Mao nodded. Dammit Rai.

"The thing is, she saw the hurt and fear in everyone's eyes." Ookami growled lowly. Rai groaned and curled up in a ball. "Also, she contains the one tails and nine tails. Gaara and Naruto both contains one of those. They're connected some how. Rai can sometimes feel their emotions here and there" Ookami added. Rai whimpered. Itachi mumbled curses under his breath and picked Rai up.

"How much time do we have Kisame?" Itachi asked. Kisame looked at the sun and shook his head. "Not enough, they're come looking for us if we're out to long." Kisame said. Itachi nodded.

"Ookami, you're connected to Rai mentally is that true?" Itachi asked. Ookami nodded. "I know where you're going with this, but yes. I can do it." Ookami said, Itachi nodded as he set Rai down gently. Ookami nudged Rai's head with his nose before he sat down and closed his eyes.

Their kanjis started glowing. Rai started screaming, Ookami growled, both of their eyes snapped open. Rai's sharingan was activated and Ookami's eyes were completely black. Rai's mask fell off, her teeth was razor sharp like fangs and Ookami's fangs grew. Rai and Ookami started shaking.

"What's happening?" Mao asked. Itachi shook his head. "Ookami went into Rai's mind and took half of the tailed beasts and relocating it into his mind. Both of their minds are one right now, yet are separate at the same time." Itachi explained.

Ookami's eyes snapped open, they were pitched black. We all step back slowly. Rai's eyes snapped open as she darted in a sitting position. Her eyes were activated.

Ookami growled lowly as he shook his head side to side, his eyes turned normal after that. Rai did the same and her eyes turned normal.

"Man that was intense." Ookami groaned, Rai held her head and nodded. She tried to stand up but fell, Itachi caught her in time before she fell to the ground. She whimpered a little before gritting her teeth.

"Don't try to fight, I'm here." Itachi soothed. Rai nodded and wrapped her arms around his neck, Itachi then picked her up bridal style. Kisame grabbed her mask and put it on for her.

"We're near the base, put your mask on." Kisame ordered. Mao and I nodded and pulled our mask on. Ookami wobbled a bit before standing up.

"Ookami." Rai croaked out as she reached her hand out and petted Ookami's head. Ookami smiled at Rai and nodded. "I'm okay" Ookami reassured. Rai nodded as she snuggled into Itachi's chest. Mao and I awed a little.

"Let's go" Itachi said, we all nodded and followed behind the Uchihas.

(RAI'S POV)

"Leader-sama." Sushi said as he bowed a little. Itachi placed me down gently and patted my head, then he turned towards the man with all these piercings and bowed.

I looked up at "Leader-sama" seeing as though he possessed the rinnegan. He studied Sora, then Mao, and then me. His gaze lingered on me as he nodded.

"That was faster than expected." Leader-sama said. Man his voice was deep as fuck. Sushi grinned. "They didn't fight as we though." He said. Leader-sama nodded. This women who had purple hair and a paper rose appeared beside the man with all piercings.

"Hello, I am Konan." The Konan women said. Mao started squealing .We all raised an eyebrow at her.

"YOU'RE SO PRETTY!" Mao yelled. Konan gave Mao a warm smile. "Thank you." she said quietly. I saw the corner of Leader-sama's mouth quirk up before it went into it's usual line.

"I'm Mao Yamada!" Mao said. Konan smiled warmly and nodded. Leader-sama nodded. Sora stepped up a little before nodding.

"The name's Sora Yamada." She said while giving them the peace sign. Konan smiled and nodded. Sora bowed and stepped back. Everyone stared at me. I sighed and Ookami appeared by my side.

"Hello, I'm Rai Yamada.. Or Rain Uchiha. Whichever one you prefer. Ookami, my guardian wolf." I said as I bowed my head at the two.

"How is it possible that you are a Yamada yet an Uchiha at the same time?" Leader-sama asked. I shrugged slightly. I'm not sure myself. "I was born an Uchiha and raised as a Yamada." I explained slowly.

"Which one do you prefer?" Konan asked. I turned to her and shrugged a little. "Doesn't matter to me. Either Rai or Rain. Whichever one you think of when you look at me." I said while laughing a bit. Konan smiled and nodded.

"We call her Rai, sometimes Rain. All the same." Mao said while shrugging. "An Uchiha? Are you siblings with Itachi?" Leader-sama asked. I nodded. Itachi stepped up a little before bowing.

"Rain is my younger sister, we recently found out when we finally found them" Itachi explained. Leader-sama nodded. "Konan, prepare the battle grounds. We must test their strengths." Leader-sama ordered. Konan bowed and disappeared.

"You will be fighting each member of the Akatsuki until you are either beaten, or you had beaten all members. Though, Konan and I won't be fighting." Leader-sama explained. We all nodded. Man we gotta fight now? I haven't trained ever since we left.

"This is gonna be eventful." Sora sighed, Mao nodded. "Though we'll be able to meet all of the other members." Mao said while shrugging. I sighed and petted Ookami's head.

"This is such a drag." I said while sighing again. Mao and Sora started laughing. "You think everything is a drag." Sora said. I shrugged. That's cause everything is a drag.

"The battle field is prepared. Come." Leader-sama said as he walk out of the room. We all followed including Itachi and Sushi. I swung my hands around freely and widely. I accidentally hit Itachi and Sushi.

"Rain, keep your hands to yourself." Sushi said. I rolled my eyes and started to swing my arms again, yet it was controlled swings. Though I still manage to hit Sushi and Itachi.

"If you both don't enjoy me hitting you with my hands then why don't you walk a few steps behind me, not all up in my booty. Otherwise, stop complaining." I said while glaring back at them. Mao and Sora were laughing. Itachi had a amused expression on his face and Sushi was glaring at me.

"Brat." Sushi snarled. Ookami growled back and Sushi crossed his arms and walked a few steps behind us. I stifled a laugh as Itachi walked by my side.

"You shouldn't provoke him like that." Itachi said while his eyes found mine. I shrugged. "He shouldn't provoke me either." I said. Itachi nodded.

"You are going to have to fight him." He said. I nodded. "I understand that, though if I were to get him pissed, he'll let his emotions get the best of him, making him recklessly fight and I'll have the upper hand." I said while shrugging.

"You guys do realize I am right here." Sushi said. Itachi and I both paused in mid stride, looked at each other and then shrugged as we continued walking again.

"That's smart thinking." Itachi said with a hand on his chin as he nodded."Isn't it? I used to get Sora with that all the time." I said while nodding. Sora looked back and rolled her eyes before she turned back to Mao.

We finally got outside and into the clearing where all the other members are.

"About fucking time!" One of the guys yelled. I raised an eyebrow at him, not like he could see it but yeah ._. Stupid mask and hiding my awesome face.

"Watch your language old man!" Mao yelled while pointing at him. Sora and I laughed. Kisame smirked a bit. "I like her already. Hn." This ...guy? or girl? I think it's a guy.. Though his hair is on point.

"ARE YOU DEIDARA?" Mao yelled. I sweatdropped. I don't think she understands how to talk normally. Deidara nodded. "How do you know my name? Hn?" He said. Mao shrugged. "Itachi-kun and Kisame-kun were talking about you." Mao explained.

"That's Deidara, Sasori, Hidan, Zetsu, Kakuzu, and Tobi" Itachi said while pointing to each member. They all stared at us, I think we are suppose to introduce ourselves? Such a drag, why couldn't Itachi just said our names ._.

"HI DEIDARA-KUN, SASORI-KUN, HIDAN-KUN, ZETSU-KUN, KAKUZU-KUN, TOBI-KUN, ITACHI-KUN, KISAME-KUN, LEADER-SAMA-KUN, KONAN-CHAN, SORA-CHAN, AND RAIN-CHAN. MY NAME IS MAO YAMADA!" Mao screamed. I sweatdropped. What's with all the kuns and chans, though I'm not surprised.

"Man, shut the fuck up you bitch." Hidan said. Mao turned towards Hidan and glared at him, next thing you know crystals were pointing at him.

"What did you say Hidan-kun?" Mao said creepily. Sora glared at Hidan before she grabbed a kunai and using her fast speed, she ran and held it against his neck.

"What?! Damn she's fast." Hidan growled. I sighed, I guess it's my turn, I looked up at the clouds, hmm.. I got nothing. I just flipped him the finger, grabbed a kunai and threw it at him. Sora quickly threw hers so that it hit mine. We both smirked at each other...Well I think we did. Mao giggled happily before she retracted her crystal. Sora walked calmly back to where we were.

"Don't fucking mess with us." I growled dangerously. Ookami smirked at all of us before nodding. Hidan smirked at us.

"Feisty, I think I could use you all for sacrifices. Jashin would be proud." Hidan said. Mao stepped up in front of me. "Don't you dare ever laying a hand on Rai-chan or Sora-chan." She said while giving Hidan the puppy eyes. Hidan just cursed under his breath before crossing his arms. Mao has the affect on people, no matter how mean and ugly you are, she'll break you.

"The names Sora Yamada." Sora said while giving everyone the peace sign and judging by her eyes, she was giving them a close eye smile. It's my turrrnnn. I don't know whether I should introduce myself as an Uchiha or Yamada.

"Rain Uchiha, Yamada." I said while looking at the clouds, I then looked down seeing everyone giving me a confused look. Well everyone expect those who knew why I belong to two clans

"I was born an Uchiha, yet raised as a Yamada. Though I embrace both clans fully." I explained."How the fuck can you belong to two damn clans? What? Did your family realize how worthless you were?" Hidan said while laughing. Ookami growled loudly. Itachi narrowed his eyes at him. Sora and Mao gasped.

He smirked at me and I sighed. If he honesty thought that hurted me then I feel bad for him. Itachi was about to say something before I put my hand up.

"Your insults are useless, you're just wasting your breath. I don't value the opinions of people I don't respect." I said, Hidan opened his mouth but then closed it.

"YOU TELL HIM RAI!" Mao cheered. Ookami and Sora both smirked at me. "You tell him" Ookami said through our mind link. I nodded.

"Though, even if Rain doesn't acknowledge your insults. I rather you not talk to my sister like that, I'll kill you." Itachi said calmly. SEE THIS IS WHY I LOVE ITACHI, he doesn't overact. Well.. Anyways. Is threatening someone in the category of overreacting? I don't think so..

"Let's start the battles." Leader-Sama cut in. We all turned towards him and Konan and nodded. "Each Akatsuki member will make a clone for you to fight. For you to win, you must land at least one hit, same goes for everyone." Leader-Sama explained.

Man, this is such a drag. Honestly? I rather be eating ramen and watching clouds or something. I sighed as each member made a clone. I yawn as Sora and Sasori's clone stepped up to face each other.

This is going to be a long day.
