Chapter 12:

And I'm running.. and running.. and running.. and screaming.. cause I'm hungry. You know what sucks? I'm extremely hungry. It's been about.. 10 minutes in the exams. I already got a scroll.

A  team from the sound heard about how it was just me alone.. So they tried to attack, which result in them getting knocked out. Lucky they had a heaven scroll! :3

I'm not trying to kill anyone, just gonna knock them out. But if they do get killed.... I am honestly terribly sorry.

Anyways.. To the tower I go! I wonder how everyone else is doing. We have about what? Five days I think? Oh well.

What a drag... I need to hurry .-. It was starting to get dark. I need food.. FOOODDDDDDDDDD. But I kept running. I never realized how far this tower would be.. It's been like.. 2 hours?

Maybe it's because I spent an hour studying clouds....

"Hello sweetie." I heard. I turned around facing more people from the sound -.- What's up with the sound? Stalking me and shit.

"Hello old man." I  said smirking. He just grinned.

"A feisty one eh? I like it." He said coming closer to me. Ew.. The fuckk..

"What scroll do you have?" One of the pervs teammate asked. I just shrugged.

"I'm not sure, my other teammates have it. I just got separated with them." I lied.

"Lead us to them." The other pervs teammate said. I nodded and pointed in a random direction.

"They're that way." I said. They smirked at me and started that way. Such stupid people in this world -.-.

"Water style: Syrup trap." I did the signs for the jutsu and the sound ninjas got stuck.

"Ugh what the hell?!" Pervy yelled. I just smirked.

"Those who betray their fellow comrades are scum. And plot twist.. I'm in this alone!" I said. I stuck my tongue and shook my butt at them. Ha serves them right.

"Keep struggling it'll only be stickier." I said. They mumbled curses under their breaths.

"Good night! Try not to die by the way!" I said. I used the butt of my kunai and knocked them all out.

"Man impressive." Temari said stepping out of the shadows.

"Oh good you guys are still alive." I said putting my kunai away.

"Way to have faith in us babygirl." Kitty-Chan said. I just smirked at them.

"Did you guys get the other scroll yet?" They both shook their heads.

"It just started!" Kitty-Chan said.

"Not really.. It started 2 hours ago." I said.

"Wait." Temari said narrowing her eyes at me.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"You have both scrolls don't you." Temari asked. I smirked at them.

"Maybeeeee." I said in a sing-song like.

"When?" Kitty-Chan asked.

"Like the first 10 minutes. Sound ninjas." I said.

"HA I WIN!" Temari said dancing around. Kitty-Chan mumbled curses under his breath before handing 20 bucks to Temari.

"Urm?" I questioned.

"I said you would get a scroll the first day. Temari said you'll get 1 hour." Kitty-Chan said. He handed 20 dollars to Temari. I laughed.

"What scroll do you guys have anyway?" I asked.

"Heavennn." Temari said. Those sound ninjas had an Earth scroll...I think

"I think those sound ninjas had an Earth scroll." I said pointing to the sticky mess.

"Temari, Kankuro. Why are you wasting time?" Gaara asked jumping down from a tree next to them. GAARAAA! I honestly wanted to hug him right now..

"W-w-we found an Earth scroll.. Well Rai did." Kitty-Chan said. Gaara narrowed his eyes at me. I just waved and smile.. Just wave and smile...

"We don't need your help." Gaara said. Awww he's so adorable :3

"It's not that I wanted to help you. You guys just came at the right time." I said pointing to the sticky mess... Again.. "Those are sound ninjas... They're not dead just passed out. Though they should wake up soon.. They have an Earth scroll." I added.

"Release them." Gaara said. I nodded I created some sand before throwing it on the sound nin. The syrup began to turn into sand.

"That's amazing!" Temari said. I smiled.

"Ugh what the hell?" Pervy said. He saw me and glared.

"You little bitch! What did you do?!" He yelled.

"Ohh feisty eh?" I said while smirking. Temari and Kitty-Chan snickered.

"And I knocked you out.. Lucky I didn't kill you." I said shrugging. His other two teammates stood up.

"Cause I will." Gaara said glaring at them. Temari and Kitty-Chan backed up pulling me with them.

"Ohh this is bad.." Temari whispered. Gaara stood in front of us facing the sound nin.

"You brat? Killing me. Ha yeah right!" Pervy yelled. Gaara just gave him an emotionless stare, arms crossed.

Pervy then threw umbrellas up and the air. "IF YOU THEN YOU CAN KILL US THEN TRY!" He yelled. I sighed and shook my head. I heard stories about Gaara.. How his dad used him as a weapon.. That's why he's like this...

So cold and distance.

"Shouldn't we follow these punks?     Gather information first, see if they have the scroll we need... We don't have to fight an unnecessary battle." Kitty-Chan tried to reason.

"They crossed my path. They belittled Rai.. They are going to die." Gaara said narrowing his eyes. Everyone was shocked by his response.

Pervy recovered and started doing hand signs.

"Senbon Rainstorm!" Pervy yelled. The umbrellas began to release needles. Hundreds of them

"Left, right, up, down, no matter where you go.. I can get you. This jutsu is deadly accurate." Gaara didn't even look up, he used his sand to block the needles.

"You're wasting your time pervy." I said sighing. Pervy just glared at me. I put my hands up. "Just saying, you don't gotta mind me...But seriously what's up with everyone and glaring...Like damn.." I mumbled.

Part of the sand shield broke, making Gaara visible.

"Is that all you got?" He asked pervy.

"Impossible!" Pervy yelled. He shot more needles at Gaara. Which Gaara blocked. Then he shot a couple hundred at Temari, Kitty-Chan, and I.

"Oh what a drag." I mumbled. I effortlessly block the needles....with sand.

"B-But how?" Pervy asked. His other teammates started backing up.

"I have an idea. Let's make it rain blood." Gaara growled out. Sand started coming out of his gourd.

"Sand?" Pervy teammate questioned.

"It's a defense and nothing can get through it. Gaara carries around his gourd, when he is attacked he used his chakra to harden the sand. It's a jutsu only Rai and him can do and some how it reacts automatically. It bends to their will making all attacks fail." Kitty-Chan explained while smirking.

He makes it seem so cool..

"We'll see" Pervy said.

"Just face it, you can't defeat him." Temari said shrugging. Pervy ignored her and started running towards Gaara, charging.

"Sand coffin." Gaara shouted. The sand started wrapping around pervy's body. Expect he left his face uncovered.

"I CAN'T MOVE!" Pervy yelled. His umbrellas fall to the ground. "LET ME GO!"

"All I have to do is cover your mouth. You'll be dead if I do." Gaara said. He picked out one of the opened umbrella and putting it on his shoulder."But that'll be to boring." He added.

He started to move the coffin in the air. As soon as Gaara thought Pervy was at the right height he crushed his fist.

"Sand burial" Gaara said narrowing his eyes. Blood and guts went everywhere. I created a water shield, shielding Temari, Kitty-Chan, and I. Gaara used the umbrella.

He glared at Pervy's other teammates. "There was no pain. I crushed him with more force then I should've, so it was over quickly." He said.

"The corpse's bitter crimson tears flows and mingles with the endless sand feeding the chaos within me making me stronger." Damn Gaara that was very poetic... yet harsh at the same time.

But the chaos? Shukaku?

"Just take the scroll. Spare us please!" One of Pervy's teammate said throwing the scroll to Kitty-Chan.

But.. Gaara being Gaara, he crushed them both.

Kitty-Chan went over and picked up the scroll.

"Oh look, it's an earth scroll." Kitty-Chan said smiling at me. I smiled back.

"Let's head over to the tower." Kitty-Chan said.

"Just shut up. It.. It wasn't enough for me." Gaara said.. What?!

"Lets just go!" Kitty-Chan said yelling a little.

Gaara smirked. "You scared? Coward." He snarled.

"Gaara" I said. He turned towards me.

"What?" He asked.

"They want to pass. Just go to the tower." I said trying to reason.

"Stop treating us like we're your enemy!" Temari shouted. Gaara narrowed his eyes at her.

"It's a shame I don't think of you both as family." He said. Temari looked shocked but glared at him.

"They're all you got." I stepped in. "They actually stayed! They could've begged to your father to let them leave you. They could've shun you out. Yes I know, they're to blinded by fear. They have thought of you as a monster, but they praise you when they're around me. You don't understand. They love you." I said.

Temari and Kitty-Chan looked at me and smiled.

"I can't say the same." Gaara said. Ugh.

"Whatever, lets go to the tower please." Kitty-Chan said.

"Fine. Only this time." Gaara agreed. I smiled at them before waving.

"I'll see you three at the tower okay?" I said. They all nodded. Temari and Kitty-Chan both came over and hugged me.

"Be safe babygirl." Kitty-Chan said.

"Try not to die." I smirked back.

"Will do, only for you though." Temari said. We all laughed.

"Rai." Gaara called out.

"Yes?" I asked.

"There is no such thing of love." He said.

"Do you really think so?" I asked. He glared but nodded.

"Sadly, you're wrong. Everyone is loved. " I said.

"Is that so?" He asked. I nodded.

"Who do you love then?" Gaara questioned.

I smiled. "My siblings, Team 8, Naruto, my Senseis, Temari, Kankuro, and my friends. Meaning you Panda-Kun. I love you also." I said. Gaara's eyes widen.

"Welp gotta run! Byee!" I said running away before Gaara could reply. I just told Gaara I loved him.. Awkward...

"I SHIP IT." I heard Temari yell. I started laughing. Of course you do.

"I ship it also." Matatabi said.

"Wouldn't be surprising." Shukaku agreed.

"Do you think he'll think I'm adorable too?!" Isobu asked. I laughed out loud.

"Of course he'll think you're adorable. And how's blocking the other six tailed friends?" I asked.

"Annoying so hurry to the tower." Shukaku ordered. I rolled my eyes but sped  up my pace.. Hopefully everyone is doing alright.

Ugh it took another hour to get to the tower.. But I'm the first one here.. Odd o.o

What to do now? They had this huge scroll in front of me.. I read it.. Well tried too anyways. Sadly I didn't understand a word...

Am I suppose to open the scrolls? Together maybe? They really just need to be straight forward with this kind of stuff.

I created a clone and handed her the earth scroll. We both opened it at the same time. The scrolls started to smoke.. A summoning jutsu? Urm.. What to do now?

Do I hold it or should I throw it?.. Eh I'll throw it. I threw both scrolls on the floor.  Kakashi Sensei, Kurenai Sensei and Iruka Sensei all popped up.

"AHHHH SENSEIS!?" I yelled covering my eyes.

"Oh wait.. Senseis." I said uncovering my eyes. They all laughed.

"Wow Rai, you finished this faster than I would've expected." Kurenai Sensei said.

"Yeah, it's such a dragg." I said sighing. They all laughed again.

"Captain Yamato is waiting for you in one of the rooms upstairs. You will continue with the bonding of the other six tails." Kakashi informed me. I sighed but started upstairs.

"Thanks Senseis!" I shouted. They nodded and disappeared.

"CAPTAIN LLAMATOE!" I yelled. Captain Yamato poked his head out from one of the dorm like rooms.

"IT'S YAMATO GET IT RIGHT RAI!" He shouted back. I just laughed. I finally got to the room.

FOOD! THERE WAS A BOWL OF RAMEN! RAMEN!

"I got you some food, eat up and you can start after, you have about 4-5 more days here soooo try to make the best of it." Captain Llamatoe said. I nodded and started to eat.

"Impressive time by the way. Didn't think you'll finish that way." He said. I shrugged.

"Sound ninjas." I said. He just nodded. I hurried and finished.

"Ready?" He asked. I nodded. He started setting up this pillars of wood.

"They can help, if the tailed beast tries to get out or something.. I can help control it." He said. Cool! I nodded and started focusing. It's going to be harder since Ibiki and Inoichi isn't here. So Matatabi, Isobu, and Shukaku has to help me.

I started to focus, next thing I know.. I'm facing four tails, also known as Son Goku.

"Kid." He said facing me.

"Son Goku." I said bowing a little. Shukaku warned me about how prideful Son is about himself. Ego is almost bigger than Sasuke's.

"Who are you?" He asked.

"My name is Rai Yamada. You are one of the nine tailed beast inside of me." I said.

"Hm.. What do you want?" He questioned.

"I want to create a bond with you. I want us to become one. I want us to become friends, and for you to guide me in this world." I said.

"Why should a powerful beast like me, would want to become friends with a kid like you?" He asked. Hpmh.

"I'm not sure. That's why I'm asking you. I don't want us to both be fighting for control, so if we become one then we'll both have control over situations. But it's up to you." I said shrugging.

"I understand. But again why would I want you in control of me?" He asked.

"I'm not in control of you. If we create this bond we can help each other. We can become comrades. I do not wish to fight. I rather us get along. So far I have a bond with Shukaku, Matatabi, and Isobu. I am all one with those three. They can give me advice freely. Though if you refuse I will either shut you out or fight. Shukaku fought for control though I do not give him it. Since I have tailed friends on my side, it'll be easier for me not to give in to you." I said.

Son Goku started laughing.

"I understand how much you praise yourself, you have a right to. You are incredibly powerful and wise, judging by the way you debate with me. I can tell you'll help me well in this world. So please. Do not fight. Create a bond with me." I added.

"I normally would hate humans, but the way you speak about my other tailed friends and I.. You have respect for us.. A respectable child you are. And I shall have respect for you." He said nodding.

"Thank you Son Goku." I said bowing.

"I am guessing you normally don't speak this way." He said. Hm?

"What way?" I asked.

"All serious." He said. I laughed and nodded.

"You guessed right. Normally I do not speak in a serious matter, but how are you suppose to take me serious.. If i'm not? Sometimes you have to adapt to the situation on hand in order to make it go smoothly." I said shrugging.

"Agreed. You are much wiser then most shinobis." He said.

"I had my fair share of training and learning." I said.

"I guess it'll be smart for us to become one wouldn't it?" He questioned. I nodded.

"I would be honored to have you in my mind annoying me along side of Shukaku, Matatabi, and Isobu." I said smirking.

"Watch your tone kid." Son Goku growled out. I just grinned.

"Let's get this over with shall we?" He asked. I nodded.

We focused our charka together. Just like I did with the other two. This took about 11 hours total considering all the talking between and losing focus...

"Now we have to connect our minds by exchanging memories." I said. He nodded as he stuck his hand out. I connected mine with his. This took about 1 hour total.

I felt much more alive, I wasn't as tired.. and yeah.

"We are now one." Son Goku said. I nodded.

"You can go talk to the others if you want." I said. He gave me a smile, fang showing and all. I returned back to the dorm like room.

"Finished already?" Captain Llamatoe asked. I nodded.

"Sorry it took longer than I expected. A lot of words were exchanged and we kept losing focus." I said sheepishly smiling at him. He just shook his head and waved me off.

"No problem at all. It actually went by pretty quickly. So now you have the four tails eh?" He asked. I nodded.

"Its surprising how easy you can get them to create a bond with you also how fast you do it." He said.

"I know right! The tailed beast aren't that bad really. Though I have a feeling some of them are going to refuse.. Son Goku.. The fourth tails was kind of hard to convince. But I have respect for all the tailed beast, making it easier to persuade them." I explained, shrugging while doing so.

"That's amazing.. Before you know it you'll have a bond with all nine." Captain Llamatoe said. I smiled and nodded.

"Wouldn't that be awesome.. So did any other team make it yet?" I asked.

"I'm not entirely sure what team.. But one team made it. They came here a couple hours ago" He said. I nodded. It's probably the sand siblings.

"Before we start again you can rest. It looks like you're very tired" I said. Captain Llamatoe nodded before laying down on the bed that came with the dorm.

"Thanks Rai. Wake me up whenever you're ready." He said before falling asleep. I smiled. Such a nice AUBU.

I walked out of the room sliding the door shut as quietly as I could. 

"Rai.. Is that you?" Temari called out.

"Blondeyy, you guys finally made it eh?" I asked.

"Yeah finally right?" Temari laughed, I walked over and hugged her.

"Did you run into anyone else?" I asked. She shook her head.

"We made a few run ins with other ninjas but none of the rookies or the leaf siblings and Kosuke." Temari said.

"Ohh.." I said.

"Four tails eh?" She asked. I grinned and nodded.

"Five more to go!" I said. She smiled back.

"That's great." She exclaimed.

"Where's Kitty-Chan and Gaara?" I asked.

"Kankuro is in our room and Gaara is somewhere.." She answered. I looked outside seeing it's dark. Everyone better get their asses here -.-

"BABYGIRL!" I hear Kitty-Chan yell. I looked him up and down for injures. Seeing that he's fine I grinned.

"KITTY-CHAN!" I yelled back, we both ran to each others arms. Being all dramatic and shit.

"I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN FOREVER!" He yelled. I started cracking up. Temari just rolled her eyes.

"TOTALLY!" I yelled playing along. We all started laughing.

"See we didn't die." Kitty-Chan said smirking.

"Just for you boo." Temari added. I just shook my head and laughed.

"Good!" I said.

"Rai." Gaara said. I turned around seeing him standing there. I smiled and nodded.

"Nice to see you here Panda-Kun." I said softly. Temari and Kitty-Chan both went back into their rooms.. Slowly.

"We'll just leave you two alone." Temari said smiling cheekily. I just rolled my eyes. Kitty-Chan just smirked and mouthed use protection. That little bastard -.-

"Follow me." He said walking into one of the rooms. I followed him closely and we ended up on the roof.

From up here the forest of death actually looked beautiful. The sky was filled with stars. The moon was shining brightly. The air blew my hair around, I closed my eyes and breathe in the fresh air.

A smile plastered on my lips. We both sat down, about one feet away from each other. We fell in a comfortable silence.

(GAARA'S POV :3)

"Is anything wrong?" Rai asked. I stared at her for a moment before nodding my head. Her smile turned into a frown.

"What's wrong?" She questioned. I just shook my head before answering.

"What is love?" I asked. Rai thought for a moment before replying.

"It matters what kind of love you're talking about.. And the love you're talking about, there's three types. Family love, friend love, and the love someone has for another person romantically." Rai explained.

"What is family love?" I questioned.

"Family love is kind of automatic. Though sometimes your family won't show it, it's there. The thing in life is that you'll lose friends, but you'll always have family... Whether you like it or not." I could tell she was having trouble explaining it to me.

"So my family loves me..? My siblings?" I asked. Rai nodded

"Temari and Kitty-Chan both loves you. No matter what they'll stay by your side." She said smiling at me. Is it true? My siblings.. They love me?

"What is friend love?" I questioned again.

Rai grinned. " Friend love is my favorite love. Of course I love the other leaf siblings plus Kosuke.. But beside the fact.. Friend love is amazing. Friends.. Well.. You guys are friends. Normally that means you both like each other right?" She asked.

"I'm not sure." I said narrowing my eyes at her. She just laughed and shook her head.

"Do you like me?" She asked.. Do I like her? Whenever I'm around her I feel comfort. I feel.. Happy. I nodded. This made her grin.

"And I like you, so friends likes each other. Anyways as I was saying, friend love is similar to family love. Expect with friend love, the bond between you both are strong. You guys aren't really friends if you don't like each other.... You both trust each other, would risk your life for them, would see the good in you but also the bad. Basically they are by your side." Rai explained.

"Do you need an example?" She asked. I nodded, it'll make this easier to understand...

"Hmm. Well Team 8. Kiba, Hinata, and Shino. They are all my friends. I like them, they like me. I would risk my life for them, I trust them completely, I see the good in them.. Yet I acknowledge .... I don't want to say the bad in them.. But their mistakes.. And I take time to help them correct it. I love them all deeply.... and I don't think that would change anytime soon" Rai said smiling.

(RAI'S POV)

Gaara nodded slowly, probably trying to understand what I'm saying.. I suck at explaining love.. You really can't explain it... You just have to feel it. Hmm..

"Wait.. Can I try something?" I asked facing Gaara. He turned towards me.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Just close your eyes." I said. He narrowed his eyes at me.

"Trust me." I said while looking into his eyes. Gaara has some amazing eyes, I'm not gonna lie.

He nodded again before closing his eyes. He looked so peaceful. I small smile formed on my lips.

"You can't really explain love.. You have to feel it." I said as I gently held Gaara's head in my hands. His eyes flutters open and he tenses up.

"Close them and relax!!" I ordered. He glares before closing them again.

I showed him some of my memories.... Letting him feel the love that I have for my friends and family.

"Is.. that love?" He asked. I nodded slightly.

"I believe so." I said smiling. He looked shocked.

"Love.." He whispered. Then he grabbed his shirt, where his heart was.

"It hurts right here... Why?" He asked.

"Maybe because you finally realized what love is.. It's mending your heart." I said putting my hand on top of his.

"Maybe because you finally realized that you're loved." I whispered. His eyes widened. I smiled at him.

"Ever since we were a little kid, I've always cared about you. Deeply. You were my best friend.. Well are.. I guess." I said not really sure...

"We are friends...Best friends." Gaara said slowly. I grinned.

"Anyways. I loved you then and that won't change now. Love is a feeling that can't be thrown around.. And when you truly, deeply love someone.. That feeling wouldn't go away so easily." I said. Gaara just stared at me.. He was shocked.

Shocked that someone loves him. Shocked because she just admitted it.

"What is the love.. the romantic love?" He asked. I shrugged a little.

"To be honest I'm not entirely sure. I never really experience that kind of love considering I am still young. I guess with that love you kind of have to wait. In my opinion you know when you love someone romantically when you'll do anything to make them smile... You want them to be happy.. You feel happy around them.. And what I mean about waiting is that sometimes it may not be true love.. You have to wait it out. If you both develop romantic feelings for others then.. That's not true love." I tried to explain. Again I would show Gaara it but I never really experience it sooo..

He nodded slightly... He looked like he wanted to say something but was debating whether to say it or not.

"Thank you.. Rai." He said. I was kind of surprised.. I mean Gaara. GAARA just thanked me.

"You're welcome.. Panda-Kun." I said smirking. His eyes softened.

"Kawaii-Chan" He said. I smiled.

"It's nice having my best friend here. Makes life more enjoyable.' I said looking at the night sky. It was absolutely beautiful.

"Are you coming back to the sand?" He asked. I shrugged.

"Hopefully. I want to complete my training as a shinobi. I have about six months left." I said. He nodded.

"Hey Gaara?" I asked.

"What?" He said.

"You really do have a soft spot for me. Look at you. Being all friendly and shit. It's scary." I said. Gaara glared at me.

"I will kill you one day Rai." He said. I started laughing. Gaara looked at me clearly amused.

"I will find a way." He said. I just poked him.

"I'll be waiting my fellow child. Just for the record. I can kill you too. Who knows, we might kill each other." I said. Gaara nodded.

"I could see that." He smirked at me.

"HOLY SHIT GAARA! YOU... YOU SMIRKED.. IT WASN'T A CREEPY SMIRK TOO!" I shouted. Gaara narrowed his eyes at me.

"SAND COFFIN!" He yelled. Sand covered me. Man it was nice and warm in here.

"Gaara.... Gaaaraaaaaaaaaa... GAAAARAAAAAAAA." I screamed. Next thing I know I was upside down facing Gaara.

"Shut up." He said. I just rolled my eyes. He gently put me down.

"Wellllll, I gotta go. Have more tailed friends to.. Well.. Be friends." I said walking towards the window.

Sand wrapped around my ankles.

"So it's true.. What my father has done." Gaara said darkly. I nodded.

"It is." I said. Gaara glared at the ground.

"I will kill him." He said. He unwrapped me and I slipped through the window. To be honest.. I don't hate the kazekage.. Call me crazy but.. I don't know.

I rather it be me than anyone else though.. I grew up with such an amazing family... And I have amazing friends. I wouldn't want someone to go through this alone.

I looked up from the window before slipping it close. Gaara was staring at the moon.. A small smile played on his lips. HOLY SHIT!?!??!?! GAARA SMILING?!? WHAT?!?!?!!??!?!!??!?!!!?

"IS GAARA SMILING?!" Temari whispered.. loudly. I jumped.

"DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!" I whispered back. Temari was jumping up and down. Kitty-Chan just smirked.

"YOU MADE HIM SMILE!" Temari whispered/yelled..I just shook my head. We all walked out of the room.

"DUDE YOU FUCKING MADE GAARA SMILE!" Temari shouted. I rolled my eyes.

"Don't try to deny it either." Kitty-Chan said pointing at me.

"Holy crap... What has the world come too?!" Temari said throwing her hands up in the air.

"Temari. Kankuro. Why are you bothering Rai?" Gaara said. We all jumped.

"Holy crap you scared me." I said holding my heart. Gaara narrowed his eyes at me.

"Good." He said. I just stuck my tongue out at him. Kitty-Chan and Temari was looking between us nervously.

"And they weren't bothering me." I said. Gaara glared at his two siblings. I pretended to cough. Gaara then switched his glare to me. I matched it ...perfectly.

"You aren't the only one who can glare like a boss." I said smirking. Temari and Kitty-Chan were laughing. Gaara playfully narrowed his eyes at me before disappearing.

"Damn Rai." Kitty-Chan said. He walked over and hugged me.

"I really think you can change him.. Thank you." He said. AWWWWWW CUTIES!

"Don't thank me. I'm not only doing this for you. Gaara used be a sweetheart." I said. They both laughed but nodded.

"Remember when he would give you his teddybear?" Temari said. I giggled and nodded.

"I used to love that teddybear." I said. We all laughed at the memory.

"I have to get back to Captain Yamato. Gotta create more bonds. I'll catch up with you guys later." I said waving. They nodded and started walking back to their rooms.

I walked into my room. Captain Llamatoe was still sleeping. I nudged him with my foot.

"Yo are you ready?" I asked. He nodded as he sat up.

"You found out what team came in?" He asked. I nodded.

"The sand siblings." I said. He nodded and stood up.

"Thanks for letting me sleep.. It really helped."

I waved him off. "You needed the sleep." I said.

He started making his wood pillars with me in the middle.

I pulled the chakra wall down which separated the tailed friends and I.
