9 - He's the top after all

I went down the stage and sat beside Haru and Suo, tending to Haruka's wounds. His face red, he's embarrassed that I was cleaning up his wounds. "Complain and I'll kick your ass." I said and glared at him. "Whatever- Tend to your wounds as well dummy." He said quietly, not meeting my eyes.

Suo was chuckling while staring at us. "You two are nice to look at" He said, Nirei hummed and agreed with him. "The two leaders are gonna face each other soon, let's focus on cheering Umemiya-san on" I chimed as I got comfy on my seat after tending to Haru's wounds.

"...Let me just ask one thing..watching that fight earlier, did you not feel anything?" Umemiya asked while looking at Tomiyama. "Eh? What do you mean?" He answered, tilting his head to the side.

"Hmm..I see. What a damn shame."  Umemiya scratched his neck in disappointment. His voice is different from his usual out-going self. I'd die if he talked to me like that.

"Shame? Why?....hm well whatever" This kid really looks terrifying, just looking at him pisses me off. He started bad mouthing his own group, calling them weak and praised Umemiya for having strong members. 'If only I could slap that prick'

"If I win..I'll have both Ume-chan and Bofurin..Because Ume-chan is the strongest and you look like you have fun a lot..I'll be finally be free and this boredom will end..Now. Give it to me Ume-chan!" Is he obsessed with Umemiya-san..well I mean I get it but isn't that too much kid..

"At last I'll see the two strongest fight.." I whispered under my breath, my lips curl up to an amused smile as Umemiya threw a punch but Tomiyama was fast to act and dodged everything. 'Kid's actually good'

I could hear Umemiya say something to Tomiyama but I couldn't really understand it. I was too busy watching their movements, they were too fast but everything sounds so strong. I can hear the air flow in each move they made.

"I really don't understand what you're saying Ume-chan!" Tomiyama's up in the air, about to throw  a punch to Umemiya's way but Umemiya grabbed him with his left hand and thrust his hand forward, towards Tomiyama.

The kid dodged it by backing away but blood dripped down from his nose, we all watched in awe and terror..Even Tomiyama was shocked when his nose started bleeding. I could feel my blood rush up to my face, excitement pumping through my veins. 'I feel like Umemiya-san can kill me with his finger alone'  

"If  you don't understand then..there's no way I'd lose"

That seemed to tick him off because he started attacking Umemiya from different directions and ways. He's like a goddamned monkey. He threw punches at Umemiya but he doesn't look affected at all...unaffected men are hot.

Why is this kid being so stubborn. With the way he's fighting, he's like throwing a tantrum. "I want to be free, Don't get in my way!!" He keeps throwing punches at Umemiya but he's quick to dodge all of them, "What does it mean to be free then?"

"To fight strong people like what I am doing now!!"

"You don't look happy. I have nothing but sympathy towards your team. To be lead by someone like you and they make those kinds of faces? Don't let them make such faces!!" Umemiya's words struck through our hearts. 

"I'm really glad I came to Furin" We heard Nirei say, we all agreed with him. "I'm even more glad that he's our leader" I added, looking at him with pure admiration in my eyes. 

Huh. What happened.

'Umemiya-san..is on the ground..getting punched by Tomiyama and he's not fighting back..?'

Haru suddenly stood up from his seat and shouted, "You talked about winning this but here you are getting beat up?!" 

"Hey. Shut up." Hiragi shushed him, I pulled him back down to his seat gently. "Calm down Haru.."

"My bad, I backed you in a corner huh? You must've felt so alone.." Umemiya said, his voice now softer. Is it possible to look so kind even when he's face filled with wounds? Tomiyama kept repeating shut up to him but Umemiya just kept talking.

Tomiyama went closer to him and..BIT UMEMIYA'S NECK?! I could see blood dripping from the side of his neck. I stood up from my seat, surprised. "What the fuc-"

Everyone looks surprised. WHO WOULDN'T?!?! Did he turn into a vampire or something because what was that?????

"Tomiyama, it's okay. You already found your answer." Tomiyama backed away from Umemiya, blood on his mouth.

"Stay away!" 'Child, you stay away'

"Tomiyama" Umemiya held his head gently, "Remember who you were back then, for your team"

"Remember it!" He head bumped Tomiyama's forehead so hard that he passed out. 'He won-'

I sat back down and propped my elbows on my knees, covering my face as I squealed in my head. My heart racing rapidly against my chest. 'That was so...amazing'

"Ume-chan, take care of Shishitoren. Please" I looked up to see Tomiyama offer his jacket to Umemiya but he just did a cross sign with both his arms.

"Huh? Don't wanna" He shook his head from side to side. "I don't intend to grow my group too much. Sounds like a pain" He said as he held his neck.

"But" Tomiyama looked up at him, confused.

"How about this, starting today, Shishitoren and Bofurin are now friends! Hmm is there any place where we can buy food?" Umemiya said as he looked over at Togame. 

"Huh why?" Togame asked. "It's time for a party!" Umemiya answered cheerfully, his bright smile back.

'What the hell is happening..? Weren't we all just fighting moments ago...'

There's lots of foods on the floor, we're currently at the rooftop of Shishitoren's Headquarters...eating together. 

I looked around and watched them eat. Well this is new. 

"I heard you tended to their wounds Sakura-san" I glanced at Umemiya to see him looking at me. "O-oh yes I did, I have a first aid kit with me" I answered while sipping some tea.

"I'm hurt, why didn't you tend to my wounds? I'm offended" I watched at how his lips slowly moved to a small pout. 'He's adorable'

"I didn't know you wanted my help..I'll tend to them right away" I scooted over to him and took out my first aid kit. 

"Too bad I don't have any wounds, I would've loved for Sakura-chan to tend to my wounds too" I heard Suo chuckle from the side. 'God this is embarrassing', my face red as I worked on Umemiya. 

He was just staring at me and was not saying anything. From time to time he winces in pain probably because it stung..especially that bite mark.. It's weird..but he looks goddamn gorgeous with his a few strands of his hair on his face, his usual  slick back style ruined.

"Ah what? Why aren't you taking care of my wounds too kitty one?" I narrowed my eyes at Togame as he spoke. "Why would I do that?" I asked.

"Well  you twins are the reason why I have these in the first place" He answered in a matter of a fact tone, smirking over at me.

'Well fine. Just because I felt bad for him earlier.'

I got up after I finished up with Umemiya's wounds. "Thanks a bunch Sakura-san~" He said while smiling. sigh 'The other gorgeous jerk' , I went to Togame and tended to his wounds, while doing so, he blew his breath towards my face. 

Instinctively, I smacked his face which made him groan "What the hell?" he said while holding his cheek. I sighed and scooted away from him. "'Not sorry"

"Me too Sakura-chan~ Tend to my wounds too!" Tomiyama said cheerfully.

"No." I quickly answered.
