8 - Switch

CLACK

The sound echoed throughout the room.

"Asshole, did you just try and step on my leg with that slipper of yours?"  

Togame's on the ground.

Before he could hit my leg, I used my leg to make him fall, moving it to the side with a strong force. He was only standing on one foot it was easy for him to fall on the ground with a loud thump.

I glanced to my side just to be met by a pair of eyes that looked like mine. "Ha..ruka" his name left my mouth in almost a whisper. "Hima.." He's already up on the stage and it looked like he was about to help me out earlier. That must've scared him, I could see terror and rage in his eyes.

Something caught my eye..everyone is up on their feet. Even Sugishita was standing. They look worried. My heart skipped a beat, it's encouraging somehow. My eyes went back to Haru then at Togame who I can see slowly try to sit up.

"Wait there Haru. I haven't tapped out yet" I said quickly and got up on my feet. I got closer to Togame and kicked him on the face making his upper body fall on the ground again. "I didn't tell you to get up just yet. Stay put." I stared down at him, the blood that dripped down from his nose is now messily scattered down in his pretty face.

I sat on his upper body, his mouth lets out a soft groan and my fingers wrap around his neck, not choking him but stopped him from breathing for a while. I don't want to hear his voice. I inched closer to his ear and whispered something. "You're carrying something quite heavy huh? You're not going all out on me. Since you can still do it..I'll leave you to my brother, 'kay?" I felt him grip on my wrists which made me let go of my grip on his neck.

Togame gasps for air quickly, I could feel his chest move up and down quickly, to let his body take in oxygen. My eyes traveled to his face, he was smirking. He looked at me with those tired eyes of his, "You've caught my interest kitty. I like you" he said as his smirk grew once he saw how red my face got. 'Asshole what the hell-'

Instinctively, I punched him. I saw his surprised expression he probably thought I was done with hitting him. 'I am though! He's just saying those weird things!'

I got up quickly and went to Haru, tapping his shoulder. "I'm done Haru, deal with him-" 

"Get out of here and go to a clinic" 'Is he being serious right now-'  He's  no longer looking at me but was looking at Togame who is now slowly standing up.

"Haru I won't leave this place until everything is done" I said but he answered too quickly. "Fine, just go sit with them and stay put." I hummed in response and ruffled his hair "Show him what you got Haru" I smiled before going down the stage.

Umemiya was the first one to greet me, "Are you okay?" he asked, they all look worried. "Ah yeah I'm fine." I answered, I don't like it when I make people worry..

They all asked if I was okay and praised me for a good fight. They don't know that I feel like shit. Togame wasn't giving his everything, what am I supposed to feel about that?

I sat back down on my seat, cursing under my breath as I did so. My back hurts. I taste blood in my mouth. 

"You did a great job Sakura-chan" Suo said against my ear, he was sitting beside me. I nodded gently and forced a smile, "Thanks" I said before turning to look at the stage. 

Haru and Togame were already fighting, Togame moves as fast as ever, dodging and charging up on Sakura. "I'll break your face into pieces" We heard Sakura say as his body flips smoothly up in the air and lands a hard kick on Togame's head.

"You kitties like my head so much huh? It's pissing me off" Togame said as he lunged towards Sakura, making them both fall on the ground with a loud thump. He strikes his fists on Sakura's face, his jaw clenching as he stared down at him. 

My chest ached at the sight but I know my brother's capabilities. He's a strong fighter. I saw his hand stop Togame's fists from punching him again and push him off with his whole body weight before getting up. 

I could see Haru's face smeared with blood but he had that crazy look on his eyes. He propped himself up in the air, his body twisting mid air as he kicked Togame's side, his body moved to the side a bit due to Sakura's kick. 

"You can do it Haru!" I shouted as he threw a punch at Togame as soon as he got on his feet. "I didn't know he was this strong" I heard Suo say from beside me, his voice sounding amused.

"He's been always strong, he's the one who trains me. The absolute best" I said with a smile while keeping my eyes on Haruka.

"Come on what's wrong? If you lose then everything you said is nonsense. Isn't that what your 'Strength is everything' all about?!" Haru flipped his body over, kicking Togame on the chin which made him look up. 

For a moment there, I saw Togame's shocked expression as he staggered on his feet and his head hung low. "It's too early to get excited, you brat"  He said as he kicked Sakura on the stomach, his wooden slipper adding impact which lead to Sakura fall to the ground.

I grit my teeth the moment Haru fell on the ground. 'That must've hurt..'

"What do you know about Shishitoren? Everyone here has a goal. To get stronger on their own way. That's why strength is everything." Togame walked closer to Sakura's form while still talking.

"Compared to you guys who just play hero...the weight of our strength is not the same!" I saw him lift his foot up to step on Sakura's head- "Haru!" I stood up but Suo grabbed my arm. "Not yet" he said while keeping his eyes on the stage. 'What do you mean not yet?!'

I looked at the stage again and saw Haru's head dodge Togame's foot. "What you're saying and doing are completely different. Why not change your name to 'We bully the weak' group huh?"

"Just. shut. up." Togame said as he lifted his foot to try and step on Sakura again but his foot stopped as my brother started shouting again. "Beating up the weak and chasing middle schoolers..There's no way I'll lose against someone like that!" Togame's foot fell down on the ground next to Sakura's head with a loud *CLACK*

"The hell's that supposed to mean?"

He turned to look over at Arima and the others, "I see. That's why you were there..excuse me for a second." Togame said as he walked down the stage went over to Arima and Kanuma, stopping once he was in front of them.

"I thought it was weird for Furin to come to our turf  without any reason..What were you two doing there?"  

" Answer me" Both of them started reasoning out and pointed fingers at Saruwatari. He clearly didn't like their answer and started beating them up. Tomiyama wanted the fight between Haru and him to continue but he wasn't listening. Other than Tomiyama's voice, his fists landing on their bodies were the only thing we could hear.

I didn't bother to watch them, it's disgusting.

"Ah sorry about that. Appreciate you for waiting..let's continue, shall we?" He said while smiling as he made his way back to the stage. 'I definitely don't understand what goes on in his mind'

He starts attacking Sakura again but none of them managed to hit on Sakura's body. "What are you doing? You're not even trying." We heard Haru say, he's right. He's not trying anymore.

Togame chuckled, pushing his hair back with his fingers. '"Right. Just what do I want to do." 'Look at that good looking psychopath, the hell that's just unfair'

"I wanna go for some hiking" 'huh'

"Stop acting like a moron will you? You're not better than any trash here." Haru said, his anger rising by each second.  "I'll defeat you so you can understand." 

"You still talk a lot considering I'm more stronger than you and your twin" Togame said while chuckling. Sakura charged at him and the both threw punches at each other. "I knew it. You weren't taking this seriously right, shaggy hair?" They're both smiling at each other weirdly, blood smeared across their faces.

"I'm not Shaggy hair, It's Togame Jo." Oh his given name actually sounds nice. Togame Jou, I'll remember your name. You better sleep with one eye open.

"Alright Sakura, Let's go all out." He said smiling, propping his arms on his knees. "Come at me kitty!" 

They both charged at each other at the same time, my heart raced in my chest. Everything that's happened so far feels so surreal..everything's so intense.

Their legs extended up to each other's faces and at the same time they both fell on the ground the moment their foots collided with their faces.

They both got up again and charged at each other again at the same time but now they were going to punch each other. Each of their fists were so close to make impact but Togame stopped his fist from going further which resulted in with him getting hit by Haru's fist and falls to the ground with a loud thud.

"My bad..I can't stand anymore..I give up" Togame said while smiling, staying still on the ground.

'What was that...He can still fight but he gave up. Though....I believe the weight he's carrying somehow got lighter.'

I shuffled in my seat, waiting for Haru to get down already, I want to clean up his wound. (Brought a small bag with a first aid kit but hasn't used it yet at all).

Sakura was protesting, not accepting the fact that Togame gave up. "I want to defeat you fair and square!!" He shouted at him while his eyebrows furrowed. Tomiyama got up on stage and started calling Umemiya. "Ume-chan! Let's go it's our turn~!" He said excitedly, his hands up in the air. I got up to drag Sakura down the stage, his face is already so messed up what's with him.

"Choji..Let's stop this we're in the wrong her-" Togame got up and attempted to hold Tomiyama. 

I wasn't fully up the stage yet when I saw Togame's body fly over and hit the wall. "Will you shut up? You lost, be quiet." Tomiyama's voice sounds cold, even his eyes showed no emotion, no life in them. 

I saw Sakura grab Tomiyama's shirt and was about to punch him- 'I have to stop him-'  My body lunged forward but someone was faster. Umemiya stopped his punch with his arm. "Time to switch" 

I went closer to them and held Haru's other hand, "Haru let's go.' He glanced at Umemiya first before retracting his hand. "If you lose..I'll beat you up." I heard him say before he walked away first, leaving me up there. 'Haru..I don't think you can beat up Umemiya in that state..'

I turned to Umemiya and bowed slightly. "I'm so sorry, I'll take care of him..Goodluck Umemiya-san, we're counting on you" I smiled and I saw him smile back, that gentle smile that makes your heart all fuzzy.

"Mhm leave it to me"

A/N: Ahhhhh I'm not so satisfied with this chapter..I apologize if you guys find it boring.
