MALIK'S P.O.V.

*the next morning*

Malik- *pushes open your bedroom door* *peeks in and sees you both sleeping* *smiles and wlaks over to Diggy's side* *pushes him a little* Dad.. dad..

Diggy- *wakes up a little and grumbles* Mm, what is it?

Malik- *whispers* Dad, I have school. You gotta help me get ready..

Diggy- *peeks at him* Okay.. what time is it? *rubs his eyes*

Malik- *shrugs* Mom normally wakes me and Kelani up, but she's asleep too

Diggy- Aite.. *slides his arms from around you* *gets up out of bed* *walks to Kelani's room* Lani..

Kelani- Yeah?

Diggy- Oh.. you're up?

Kelani- Yeah. Mommy was supposed to wake me

Diggy- Mommy's still sleeping. Is it okay if I take you to school?

Kelani- *shrugs* I suppose..

Diggy- Come on, let's get you some breakfast *picks her up and takes her downstairs* *walks in the kitchen*

Malik- *looks up at Diggy* What are we gonna eat?

Diggy- Whatever you want

Kelani- Blueberry muffins?!

Malik- *looks at him and raises his eyebrow*

Diggy- Something I can cook, Lani.

Kelani- *folds her arms* What can you cook?

Diggy- I'll show you. *takes out bowls and a pan*

I was hoping to have my mom and dad back together for ages now. Seeing them sleep in the same bed and he was holding her made me smile. It was his first time staying over here. I wanted them to be together. I wanted to have a family like all my friends did. And my dad had been trying real hard to impress mom. He's buy her flowers, he'd come to our house and help out.. he did some shopping.. he even asked me to find out all her favourite things to try and make her happy. He was really trying. He told me he loves her and wants to be with us. I hope it's true.

My mom is a hard person to impress. She'd told me before that dad had done her wrong before and it would take a lot to win her trust back. I know somewhere that she loved him. She's all happy when they're together and she smiles a lot more. They even look like they're together sometimes. I know my dad makes my mom happy.. but she's never going to admit that

*15 minutes later*

Diggy- *puts plates in front of the kids* Eat up *smiles*

Kelani- *widens her eyes at the plate* How did you make this?

Diggy- *smiles* *taps his nose*

Kelani- *stabs the waffle with her fork* *eats* Mm.. there's blueberries in it!

Malik- He's great, right?

Kelani- *nods*

*two hours later*

YOUR P.O.V.

Y/N- *wakes up* *looks beside her and sees the bed empty* *sits up confused* *looks at the clock* Oh shit.. shit, shit.. Kelani? Malik?! *rummages through her drawers*

Diggy- *walks in* Babe..

Y/N- *turns around* Diggy, it's 10:30, the kids are sleeping, I'm so dead..

Diggy- Y/N, calm down. The kids are at school

Y/N- *pauses* What?

Diggy- I got them up, they ate, I dropped them both to school, they're cool.

Y/N- Thank God. I gotta get to work, I'm so late

Diggy- I called in for you.

Y/N- *stares at him* What?

Diggy- I called your receptionist, she said you had no meetings today, she booked you off for the day. I wanted to spend the day with you, take you out, eat.. I don't know, something and anything with you

Y/N- Okay

Diggy- Good.. cause I booked us a spa to go to.. in half an hour. Get dressed *smirks and walks out*

Y/N- *smiles and raises her eyebrow at him* Okay then..

*later on*

Y/N- *lays down* Mm.. this is so good

Diggy- *looks over at you getting a massage* Told you.. you needed this. You work hard babe.

Y/N- Yeah..

Diggy- And.. I wanted to talk about us

Y/N- *looks up*

Masseuse- *looks at you both* Should I..?

Y/N- Yes please.. *grabs her towel and sits up* *wraps it around her*

Diggy- *watches the masseuse leave* *looks at you* So.. where is this going?

Y/N- You got another month till we both know.

Diggy- I know, it's just.. I don't want to waste any time not being with you. Not making you mine and having our family actually be a family.

Y/N- I wanna see how you are first

Diggy- Hm.. alright. But remember I'm here waiting for you.

Y/N- *smiles* I know.

Diggy- *bites his lip at you*

Y/N- Stop that!

Diggy- Nah, you're good. *winks at you*

Okay seriously, I wanted him now. I really did. I couldn't contain it, but I had to hold out on this bet.. I couldn't let Daniel win and I look a fool! I wanted to see this bet to the end and how it plays out. I knew him and his hormones were burning, they must be, I see his print when he's aroused and it's the funniest thing because Kelani asks him why there's a bump in his pants and he tries to hide it..

We finished the massage, sauna, swimming and the rest of the spa, headed back home and I was surprised again when Evie called to say she had the kids from after school and Spin was telling me about his club appearance in NYC.. hm..

Y/N- *looks at Diggy* This was all you, huh?

Diggy- *laughs and looks at you* What?

Y/N- You know... the kids, the club..

Diggy- Aite, maybe.. but you haven't let your hair down in years.

Y/N- *folds his arms* How do you know?

Diggy- Evie talks, Justine talks.. even your home girl Mia talks..

Y/N- Shut up *walks out and pulls on her sneakers*

Diggy- *looks at you* Where you goin?

Y/N- Out.. why?

Diggy- *takes out his card* Here.. take this

Y/N- I'm not taking your money, Diggy I don't want that from you

Diggy- Go and get yourself a dress and a pair of heels. Any price. *hands it to you*

Y/N- *drops his card on the counter* No.

Diggy- Y/N..

Y/N- Daniel, I'm not after your money. I don't want handouts from you

Diggy- *walks over and slides the card to you* I said take it.. do this for me and I'll leave you alone.

Y/N- *sighs* You know what, fine. *puts the card in her pocket* If your bank bill is high, your fault.

Diggy- *shrugs* Alright.

Y/N- *rolls her eyes and leaves*

Y/N- *spins around* How do I look?

Mia- *looks you up and down* Um, stunning, is that enough?

Y/N- *laughs*

Mia- He must be so in love with you to let you buy that

Y/N- It wasn't that expensive, I wasn't gonna go crazy. I'd rather buy food for my kids than a dress for myself

Mia- You look wonderful

Diggy- *walks in* You ready yet *looks at you* Wow..

Y/N- *smiles*

Diggy- Your car awaits beautiful

Y/N- Thank you.. *walks out the room*

DIGGY'S P.O.V.

Diggy- *shouts above the music* You want another drink?

Y/N- *nods*

Diggy- *kisses your hand and walks to the bar*

This was it. This would be the night where I'm the closest I get to Y/N. I was dancing with her all night, not letting go unless it were to go to the bar. I had her body next to mine, our eyes locking, grinding, holding her ass, waist, her hands around my neck.. man.. I was so excited to kiss her tonight. I was always excited to kiss her. You know that feeling when you want to and you get butterflies and your heart starts racing at the sight of em? Yeah, I had that.

I went and grabbed her a drink, she'd been having loads so far tonight and all eyes were on her as she grabbed the attention of all the other guys here. Spin was the DJ and he was heavy, I tell you that...

Diggy- Um, hit me with a whiskey and coke and vodka cranberry

Bartender- *nods* You got it *grabs the mixers*

Spin- She isn't. Don't give her any more to drink, I don't wanna drag a drunk Y/N outta the club. And I've seen her drunk, she can get messy Dig. She's already drunk enough

Diggy- I got it. *smiles and grabs the drinks*

I walked back to where we were.. I kinda lost track and it felt like I was walking in circles among this crowd of people. but I saw her dancing from afar.. and another guy came up behind her, some darkskin nigga.. and she started grinding and throwing it back.. I didn't notice I'd stopped walking and I was watching..

Spin- *looks in Diggy's direction* What the hell?

Diggy- *clenches his jaw*

She just... she kissed him. He turned her around, she looked at him and kissed him.. he had his hands reaching down and to her ass, gripping all of it, she pushed her hands to his neck, ran her fingers through his haircut and he pushed her against the wall. She was smiling, biting his lip.. feeling down his.. naw....

I wasn't gonna hod back here like a side bitch, I dropped my drink and went to see wassup.I wasn't playin now

Spin- Diggy!! What the fuck man!! *goes after him*

Diggy- *pulls the guy off you* *punches him* You don't touch my girl!

Guy- *stumbles aside*

*people look over and gasp*

Y/N- *shouts* What are you doing!?

Diggy- *throws the guy to the floor* You got that?! *kicks him repeatedly*

Y/N- *covers her mouth* Shit.. *runs outside*

*Security run over and grab Diggy*

Spin- Naw, he's wit me!

Security- Y'all gotta leave immediately.

Spin- Aite fine, we're going.. *pulls Diggy away*

Diggy- *glares at the guy*

Y/N- *throws up outside* *wipes her mouth with a napkin* Oh my God.. *leans on the wall*

Spin- *calls after him* Dig, you can't drive!

Diggy- *walks to his car* *shouts* Watch me!

Spin- *puts his arm around you* Come on, I'm taking you home

Y/N- *watches Diggy get in his car* *covers her mouth* *runs to the gutter and throws up again*

Diggy- *speeds away*
