Chapter 8

Jae Eun's POV

I've been crying on my bed for the past 2 hours. I check the time and it says 6:30pm.

'He will be coming here soon.' I thought to myself. I get up from my bed and headed to the bathroom to take a shower.

After showering, I was drying my hair when I heard my front door open.

"Babe!!! I'm back!!!" He shouted.

I walk out towards the front door and plastered a fake smile.

"Babe, what happened?? Why is your eyes so red and swollen?? Have you been crying just now??" He asked me, with a worried tone. He was about to cupped my cheek but I gently push his hands away.

"I will tell you later. I will go cook dinner for the both of us." I said, avoiding eye contact and quickly head towards the kitchen before I broke down into tears again.

Jungkook's POV

I was so happy that I can see Jae Eun again. When I open the front door, she looked at me with a fake smile. I know that she's faking the smile but I didn't bother to ask more until I saw her swollen eyes.

"Babe, what happened?? Why is your eyes so red and swollen?? Have you been crying just now??" I asked her, worried that something had happen to her.

I was about to cupped her cheeks but she gently push my hands away. I felt my heart broke a little. She never resist my touch.

"I will tell you later. I will go cook dinner for the both of us." She said with a soft, broken voice. She also avoided having eye contact with me and quickly headed towards the kitchen.

I look at her small figure from the living room towards the kitchen. I can see that she's sad and broken about something. But I just shrugged it off for now cause maybe she doesn't want to talk about it.

I quickly head towards her bedroom to get my things and shower.

Jae Eun's POV

I just cook ramen for us since I too tired and sad to cook something more.

After preparing the ramen, I took my phone and text Tae oppa.

Oppa, I think Jungkook is cheating on me. -Jae Eun6:50pm

A few seconds later, he replied.

I heard from Jiminie that there's this girl who confess to Jungkook just now when we were at KBS. - Tae oppa6:51pm

So it means that Jungkook accepted her cause I received a picture from an unknown number. - Jae Eun6:51pm

What does the picture show?? - Tae oppa6:52pm

The picture shows Jungkook and a girl kissing. -Jae Eun6:52pm

Oh my gosh...don't believe the pictures. Maybe it's a trap. You should ask him first. -Tae oppa6:52pm

Nope I'm not going ask him...I'm too tired. I'm just going to wait for him to explain to me. -Jae Eun6:53pm

"Hey babe. I'm done." Jungkook said while looking at his phone. I off my phone to prevent him from seeing the text with Tae oppa.

"What are we going to eat??" He ask me, eyes still not leaving his phone. I just sit on the chair not saying anything to him.

He look up at me,

"Hey are you okay?? You've been keeping quiet. Normally you're not like this..." He said, sounding worried.

"I'm okay, I'm just too tired from practice." I said, faking a smile.

"Okay. But you have to take care of yourself okay babe?? I don't want you to be too worn out." He said, looking into my eyes. I nodded not saying anything. He smile at me and we start eating.
