Chapter 9

Jae Eun's POV

We have 5 more weeks before me and Mi Rin go for audition. We were quite nervous as the days keep coming closer. We have been practicing this past few days a lot. Bangtan is also very busy with their schedule. We seldom talk this days.

Me and Jungkook had not been talking or messaging each other this days. I sometimes wonder is he really busy or is it because he's busy with his new girlfriend.

Me and Mi Rin were resting with silence since we were both tired from the practice. Suddenly, my phone ring, indicating I have a new message.

From Jungkook:

Jae Eun can I talk to you today after your practice?

To Jungkook:

Sure thing. Where and what time??

From Jungkook:

9. The park near your house.

I read his message and lock my phone. I know that something serious is going on cause he would call me babe whenever he start a message.

I shrug the thoughts away and continue the practice.

Jimin's POV

Nowadays, I have seen Jungkook always on his phone smiling away. I am very sure that he's not texting Jae Eun cause I had ask her how's her and Jungkook's relationship since they didn't meet each other that much.

She told me that they have not been texting with each other. Me and Tae is suspecting that Jungkook cheat on Jae Eun with Eunha cause Eunha will do anything to get what she want.

When I was using my phone on the couch in the dressing room, I saw Jungkook sneaking out of the dressing room. I told Tae about it since his beside me only. We both followed Jungkook.

We saw Jungkook standing outside the toilet again. Afterwards, we saw Eunha came. They hugged each other and peck each other's lips. Tae got so mad that he almost ran out there and punch Jungkook.

I quickly drag Tae back before he could go crazy. But before we go, I saw Eunha and Jungkook making out. I feel very disappointed towards Jungkook.

Time skip

Jae Eun's POV

I quickly change into this:👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Since it's cold outside now. I apply a bit of concealer, eyeliner and lip gloss and hang my bag around myself and quickly head towards the park.

At the park

I walk to the usual bench where me and Jungkook always seated at for our date.

When I reach the bench, I already saw Jungkook sitting there admiring the night sky filled with stars.

I smile a bit and walk towards him.

"Hey Jungkookie." I said while sitting next to him.

"Hey..." He replied not sparing a glance at me.

I find it weird because everyone when we meet up, he would always call me babe and would give me peck. But he didn't do any of these this time.

"Kookie, is something wrong??" I ask looking at his side profile, sounding worried.

He sighs,

"Look, I'm here to tell you something." He said. Finally looking at me with no emotion in his eyes.

"I'm breaking up with you." He said with no hesitation.

I look at him in the eyes, trying to find amswers.

"What-" he cut me off before I can ask him anything more.

"I'm sorry." He says, standing up leaving Jae Eun alone in the lonely park.

It's sudden for me to process everything. I tried to walk but when the moment I stood up, I fall down to my knees, crying out loud. Since it's night time already, there's not many people here to judge me or care about me.

All of the sudden, I heard footsteps running towards me. I'm too heartbroken and sad to care. I wish I could just end my life now.

"Jae Eun ah, stop crying. I'm here." Jimin said.

When I see Jimin, I hugged him tightly and cried more. He help me stand up and bring me home. On the way home, he keep assuring me that everything is okay.

At home

Jimin brought me up to my room and help me lay down on my bed.

"Hey, Jae Eun, everything is okay, alright? I will bring hot chocolate up here for you okay? Stop crying." Jimin said with a soft voice. I nodded and he went out of my room leaving me alone.

All the memories from just now came back to me again. But I feel like I've no more tears left already. I just wrap myself with my blanket.

Jimin's POV

Looking at Jae Eun so heartbroken made feel heartbroken too. She's like a sister to me. I know the reason why she's acting like that.

Flashback

I was walking around the garden to have some fresh air. While I was walking, I saw 2 familiar figure sitting down at the bench looking up at the sky that's filled with stars.

'Awww, what a cute couple.' I thought to myself.

"Kookie is something wrong?" I heard a familiar female voice said. I look towards the couple that's sitting on the bench and look at them carefully.

After adjusting my vision to the dark surrounding, I figured out that it's Jungkookie and Jae Eun. It feels somewhat serious.

I'm not standing very far from them so I can hear clearly what they are talking about.

"Look, I have something to tell you." Jungkook said to Jae Eun looking at her.

"I'm breaking up with you." Jungkook said to her without any emotion. Jae Eun look sad and broken.

"What-" before Jae Eun can say anything, Jungkook cut her sentence.

"I'm sorry." He apologize to her without any emotion and walked away from her.

She was left alone in the cold and dark park. I can see that she could not process anything into her brain. I guess it's too sudden for her.

After sitting here for a minute trying to process what just happened, she stood up planning to leave. But when the moment she stood up, she fall to her knees while crying out loudly.

I felt sad for her. I jogged towards her direction. She was sobbing very loudly.

"Jae Eun ah, stop crying. I'm here." I said to her trying to comfort her.

She looked up at me with her sad eyes and hugged me tightly. I help her stand up and bring her back her house to warm her body up. Although she's wearing a lot, her hands is still very cold.

On the way home, she kept crying and sobbing. I whispered to her everything is okay trying to calm her down.

When we reached her house, I brought her up to her room to rest and I told her to stop crying and calm herself down while I make some hot chocolate for her.

End of flashback

I went to her kitchen to make hot chocolate for her. I was waiting for the water to be boiled and I texted to Tae about what happened just now. He said that he will be coming to her house to take care of her and he was also clearly angry and disappointed. We trusted him so much that he could take good care of her and he promised to her and us. But he broke it.

I looked towards the boiled water and quickly made hot chocolate for Jae Eun.

After I'm done making the hot chocolate for her, I quickly head towards her room.

When I reached her room, I still can hear soft sobs from her. I put the hot chocolate beside her at her side table. Before I can ask her to drink, the doorbell rang. I rushed down knowing it was Tae.

I opened the door big for him to come in. Tae quickly rushed towards her room with me following behind.

He checked on her and she hugged him for comfort. He patted her head trying to comfort her. Seeing her like that, I can clearly tell that she love Jungkook a lot.

'I will make sure Jungkook realize his mistakes.' I thought to myself while walking downstairs for the siblings to have their own time.

Tae's POV

When I see Eunie in this condition, I was heartbroken. She was a cheerful and bubbly girl just like me. But she's now very fragile and broken.

'I will you pay for this Jeon Jungkook.' I thought to myself while comforting Eunie.
