Chapter 11

*No ones POV*

"So Sensei, what training are we going to do?" Yuki asked swinging back on her heels.

"Well, to get a grasp of your individual skills, we are going to do a training exercise that consists of these," Gou motioned to 9 clones of him.

"There are 3 water clones, 3 ice clones and 3 fire clones. You each will face one of each clone and which ever you destroy easiest will give me a idea of your Jutsu abilities." He explained and the three nodded.

They got into their fighting stances as the clones stood opposite to them.

"Begin!" And with Gou Sensei's call they set off running at the clones.

Meanwhile over with Tomonae's team their training had already begun.

There were 6 hidden crystals and each was guarded by a clone of Tomonae Sensei.

Each ninja needed 2 crystals to pass and the key was team work. They just hadn't figured that out yet. Takeshi was fighting with his water shock wave jutsu, Ari was using her sword and Ryuua was using her Ninja Art, Dancing moon rose technique. The bad part, they were all at different positions.

Though they were battling alone and were strong, they needed team work for this exercise. Tomonae watched through her clones eyes and sighed as they fought solo.

"Hopefully one of them is smart enough to figure his out." She sighed leaning against a tree.

*Ruka's POV*

"Ugh" I grunted being pushed back by Gou Sensei's Fire clone. Then the fire clone ran at me with his kunai and I dodged taking out my senbon needles and throwing them. They deflected with their kunai.

I brought my right leg up and aimed for the clone but they put their left arm in front and only slid back a few feet. I ran at the clone again and made a few hand signs.

"Snake blade jutsu!" I shouted as green snakes appeared from the grass. 2 wrapped around the fire clones legs but they burned them off. The water clone used their water jutsu to drown the snakes. However I caught he ice clone and then ran at it. The remaining snake turned into a long sword with a dark green handle so I slashed the clone with it making it disappear in a puff of smoke.

I breathed heavily as the remaining clones disappeared. As I sat on the ground Yuki finished stabbing the fire clone with her twin sword. She had pinned them to a tree with her water tiger jutsu.

Umi was already finished before us by strangling the water clone with her chain manipulation jutsu, using the chains in the side of her hip hanging down by the belt, she made them wrap around the clones neck.

"Well done team! I see that Umi, you found it easiest to take out the water clone. Ruka, you find it easiest to take on the ice clone and Yuki, you took on the fire clone easiest." Gou Sensei praised as he came over from the tree he was sat in.

"What does that mean Sensei?" Umi asked.

"It means that when we go on missions,  and there is a person who uses fire jutsus then Yuki will be the best one to face them. Same if it was ice, Ruka would take them and Umi you would be best for water." He explained and we all nodded.

"When's our first mission?" Yuki asked eagerly.

He laughed, "We start missions on Monday. You have 2 days to prepare then on Monday we meet outside the hokages office at 8" and with that he disappeared leaving us all tired.

"I'm beat! Training is difficult." I sighed and the others nodded.

"I wonder how Ryuua is?"

*Ryuua's POV*

"Tch" i hissed back flipping over a tree branch. I was fighting to obtain a second crystal. I had one already but trying to get the second was turning out to be quite troublesome.

"Eeeek!" I could hear Ari screech from afar.

"Well this is getting no where, better go check on the little brat." I muttered while disappearing and reappearing next to Ari who was pinned  to a tree by Tomonae Sensei clones kunai.

"Need help?" I asked sighing.

"I don't need help from an amateur like you!" She spat and I just shook my head.

"Well your kinda stuck so you sure?" I mocked and she growled.

"I don't want your stupid help! Just leave loser!" She screeched so I just shook my head and left. I reappeared where Takeshi was.

"Ugh it's you." I groaned as he glared at me.

"Whatever, dimwit." He scowled so I again sighed.

"I was gonna ask if you needed help but it looks like your failing just fine" I smirked disappearing again.

"Back to fighting solo then." I took out my katana and the clone smirked.

"Bring it." She formed hand signs before a wave of crystal came flying towards me.

There was no way I could dodge it all so I took a deep breath and prepared to take some head on. I swung my katana down then closed my eyes for impact, nothing happened.

"Huh?" I looked forward to see that my katana was now glowing a pastel red colour. It then crystallised with a pastel crystal and gleamed bright.

"Ah, the Seki clan, that's right." The clone muttered.

"What?" I raised and eyebrow then shrugged, jumping over to the clone.

When I was inches from slashing the clone, it disappeared.

"Ugh, trainings over I guess." I made my way over to where we started.

"Damn it, only one stupid crystal." Takeshi moaned and Ari agreed.

"Well, you brats didn't see the point then!" Tomonae Sensei put her hands on her hips, standing in front of us.

"What do you mean Sensei." Ari asked brushing her clothes off.

"Well, you know only have one crystal correct?" We nodded. "You got that easily by yourself. However you could have gotten it done quicker if you work as a team." She sighed.

"Only one of you, actually brought about team work. Asking for help." She began. "Ryuua, you asked them if they wanted help right?" I nodded. "They declined, that is why they failed on teamwork." She finished and Ari and Takeshi just gaped.

"To complete this task you needed teamwork. Ari you just thought that she was beneath you." Ari looked down. "And Takeshi, you just thought you could do it all alone" Takeshi just looked away grunting. "However Ryuua, you didn't push yourself to insist on helping them." I just nodded.

"Well, I don't know why but, I can stand you guys." We all sweat dropped. "Normally I wouldn't pass you but, yes you pass." She finished and we just smiled and nodded.

My team then left but Tomonae Sensei kept me back.

"I guess your wondering why you absorbed my clones crystal?"

"Yeah, why?" I asked.

"It's a trait from your clan, you have the ability to manipulate and wield crystal. This is powerful ability and I would like to train you on this more as I have the ability to use crystal as well." She offered.

"That sounds great." I smiled.

"I'm training Takehsi on his water jutsu and Ari on her mind talking jutsu." She said with a smile before disappearing and I just stood smiling.

"Finally, I learned something about my clan, they use crystal jutsus." I turned and walked back to the house.

*Umi's POV*

"Hey guys, I'm off for a walk!" I called while leaving the house.

The night was warm so I had my shorts and blue crop top on. I was walking through the streets eating pocky while humming.

"I haven't walked like this since I left Takaya." I sighed as I remembered my old home town.

Flashback

I was running through the grass with my brother. I was 6 at the time and he was 15. His name was Ti and I loved him more than anyone.

"Hey, Come on let's get back its getting late." He said.

"Okay!" I giggled jumping in his back. He laughed then he walked back to the clan compound.

I jumped off Ti's back then ran over to a flower patch admiring the colours.

"Hey, bro! Go get mom I wanna show her the roses!" I smiled and he shook his head while entering the compound.

I waited for 10 minutes before I got worried. "What's taking him so long! Well I best go find him." I stood up skipping into the compound to find it empty.

The houses were damaged and there were bodies of my clan laid on the ground.

"No, no no no NOOO!" I cried running to the body of my little cousin Tae.

"No Tae!" I cried harder then ran to my house. Please be okay, just please please be okay. I begged as I turned the corner to my house.

All I saw was flames. The endless embers eating away at my house.

Then. I saw it.

"No....." I croaked in less then a whisper.

It was Ti. Laid on the ground. Bloody and barely alive.

"TI!" I ran to his side and put his head on my lap. His face was scorched by the fire and large slashes where cut up on his body.

"Please don't leave me." I cried onto his chest.

"H-hey d-don't c-c-cry." He stuttered out before using the last of his strength to hug me one last time.

"Don't leave me! Don't go, please, no!" I begged him.

"Run, Umi, Run and never come back here." He told me. "I love you, baby sister" And with that his arms grew limp and fell to his sides.

"NOOOOO!" I screamed, Pure agony in my voice.

"Hah, seems we missed one." A evil voice hissed from the road in front of me.

His tall figure and sword silhouette was frightening.

"You! You did this! How dare you! We trusted you!" I yelled with venom in my voice.

"Ah, well if it isn't Umi. Nice to see you dear one." He grinned, his razor teeth bared.

"How dare you! DIE." I ran at him with al my strength and he just dodged.

"Now now, is that any way to treat your honorary uncle?" He chuckled evilly.

"Your no one to me anymore." I hissed before running away, far away from that place. Tears streamed down my face and showed no sign of stopping.

I ran until I reached another village. I found an abandoned building. I fell to the ground and hugged my knees and cried until morning.

I knew one thing. I would never forgive that man. He may have been my fathers good friends up until I was 3 then he joined that alliance. I know that that man was the worst I had ever known, his name was....

Hoshigaki Kisame.

Flashback over

I shuddered at the thought of my past. I have a new life now. I smiled at the thought of my new life, here.

I continued walking till the wind then picked up a bit. I snapped my head around.

The box of pocky then fell to the floor.

*Kiba's POV*

Me and akamaru were out buying more supplies for training.

"That training Kurenai Sensei gives us is tough, right akamaru?" The pup barked in response.

He then whined. "What's up boy?" I asked then I heard it. A bloodcurdling scream.

I ran straight towards the scream. I had a bad feeling about this. I turned the corner to see a group of 4 men stood around with swords and katana's breathing heavily.

"Hey! What are you doing!" I yelled getting into a battle stance.

"Our job. Get away brat, this might scar your fragile mind." One of them smirked and ran with his katana towards something.

"Who are you doing this to!" I demanded and they moved aside. My eyes widened and I snarled as I saw who it was. Umi.

She was crouched breathing shakily bruised and bloody. I lost it. I ran at them and stabbed one with my kunai before they could react.

"Fucking Brat!" They spat as they fell to the ground.

"There's jonin coming. Let's go, we can finish this later." One said and then they disappeared.

I ran to Umi and knelt by her side. I picked her up bridal style and began making my way to the hospital.

"Kiba?" She asked.

"Yeah, your gonna be okay." I assured her.

"I know." She smiled while she snuggled into my chest. I blushed a bit but smiled at her as she closed her eyes.

Who was that? Why would they do that to her? Whoever it was, they will pay. I thought as I continued on my way to the hospital.

Well this was a action packed chapter!

I just had to add some KibaxUmi stuff so yeah I think I have my first couple!
