Violet Baudelaire went downstairs to the lobby and found one of the managers.

Violet: excuse me, one of the people on the rooftop wants something and I'm not sure I should give it to them.

Frank/Earnest: who is it?

Violet: Carmelita Spats. She wants a harpoon gun.

She followed him to a door.

Frank/Earnest: it would be wrong to give it to her, but it would be suspicious to not.

He handed her the harpoon gun.

Frank/Earnest: can I trust you, concierge?

Violet: if I can trust you.

Klaus watched as isabelle and Olaf went into the elevator, and he wondered what he could do.

Klaus decided he would not follow them, though that maybe was the wrong decision, klaus wasn't sure. Instead, he went to the lobby, and he stood behind the concierge desk and waited for his sisters.

Though one of the twin managers came up to him.

Frank/Earnest: I need your help, concierge

Klaus: yes sir.

He followed the man to a closet.

The manager gave him a roll of some sort of paper.

Frank/Earnest: this paper needs to go on the outside of a window. Above the laundry room. I'll show you.

Klaus followed the man through the lobby, up the elevator and to an empty room, he opened the window and klaus stuck the paper onto the outside of building, seeing the laundry shute below.

Frank/Earnest: this is called bird paper. It is used to catch birds.

Klaus: do we need to catch birds?

Frank/Earnest: crows.

×××Sunny and Mr. Poe made thier way to the hotel cafeteria.

They sat down at a table with four seats, and waited for the waiter to come.

Mr. Poe: I am so happy you agreed to be my new secretary. My other 2 kept leaving all the time.

A man walked up to them.

He was wearing a white tuxedo, he had a mustache and his hair was combed. Sunny could clearly see he was Count Olaf and that Isabelle was walking towards them aswell.

Mr. Poe: hello sir, you are welcome to join us.

Olaf: I would love that, my name is Jaques Snicket! And this is my niece, Isabelle Snicket and I definitely didn't die.

Mr. Poe: oh! You have the little one here too!

Isa: I'm not little.

She came from behind the villain and she walked around to the other side of the table and sat down. Olaf sat down across from isabelle.

Mr. Poe: how old are you, miss?

Isa: I'm 16.

Mr. Poe: I am so sorry that you have to be related to that awful Count.

Olaf: I don't think he is awful.

Sunny: I do.

Isabelle smiled at sunny.

Mr. Poe: people say he is here at this hotel.

Isabelle leaned over the table and folded her arms.

Isa: I wouldn't disagree. He could be with us right now.

Olaf glared at her.

Mr. Poe: that's terrifying!

Olaf: I doubt he is, we have nothing to worry about.

He stared at isabelle.

Olaf: I don't think he would be looking for isabelle anyways.

This time she glared at him.

Olaf: now let's get the real reason I'm here, I sent out that telegraph asking everyone to come here.

Mr. Poe: and you asked for everything on the Baudelaire Case.

Olaf: yes, I definitely did.

Mr. Poe took a big book out of his bag on the floor.

He put it on the table.

Isabelle's eyes widened.

The book was The Incomplete History Of Secret Organizations.

Isa: where did you get that book?

Mr. Poe: Justice Strauss gave it to me, for my research.

He took another big book out of his bag, and set it out on the table.

Mr. Poe: Odious Lusting After Fortune.

He read the name of the book and they all looked at it.

Sunny: O.L.A.F

Mr. Poe: this is my extensive research of Count Olaf, and The Baudelaires complete history.

Olaf stared at the book.

Isabelle saw Larry, the waiter who seemed to be everywhere, walk up to thier table.

Larry: hello, I am larry your waiter. What would you like this evening.

Mr. Poe: I'll have a glass of milk.

Sunny: bite

Olaf: I'll have raspberry iced tea.

Larry looked at isabelle and in moments they all did.

Isa: uh- I'll have pink lemonade, extra lemony..

Olaf glared at isabelle. She knew he didn't like that word.

Larry: milk, pink lemonade, raspberry iced tea, and something to bite for our little concierge, I'll be right back.

Larry walked back into the kitchen.

Mr. Poe: as I was saying, I am bringing this book to the trial.

Sunny: trial?

Mr. Poe: there will be a trial on Thursday, today is Tuesday. A trial means we are going to put Count Olaf in jail.

Olaf: how exciting.
