The Baudelaires and Quagmires + isabelle walked into town hall and say many people sitting in chairs. The children sat in the front row.

Count olaf was smirking at them as they sat down.

Esmé was standing next to him and Jaques was standing on the other side of the room in handcuffs.

Man: first we should talk about his daughter-

Olaf: well she could stay with me, I've always wanted children.

He stared at isabelle.She stood up.

Isa: actually, i would rather stay with my friends, they are a better family than Count Olaf ever was.

Olaf: no, no, that wont be necessary, you've only know them for a short period of time and you've know Olaf forever.

Isa: I've also known my mother forever and it's not like Olaf let me stay with her.

She glared at him.

Klaus stood up and took her hand,

Klaus: I vote we take a vote.

Violet stood up.

Violet: I agree.

Man: fine, everyone who wants Count Olaf's daughter to stay with the orphans, please stand.

About half of the towns people stood.

Isadora and duncan stood up.

Man: then its settled, she will stay with the orphans.

Isa: thank you, sir.

They all sat down.

Man: next order of business, what will we do with this evil villain?

Everyone looked at Jaques.

Esmé: I say we burn him at the stake.

Man: alright.

Isabelle: wait no!

Isa: I don't think we should do that..

Olaf: let's not listen to little orphans.

Isa: I'm not an orphan!

Olaf: you soon will be-

Man: meeting adjourned!

The children quickly stood up and tried to get out as the crowd had to get out aswell.

Olaf took isabelle's arm.

He whispered in her ear.

Olaf: if you keep this act up I wont let you see Kit.. ever again.

Isabelle froze, and Olaf let her go.
