I Made a Mistake

Alhaitham's POV:
I walk out of my house fuming with anger, I slam the door behind me with a loud bang that echoes through out the empty street.
I look up to the sky to see large dark, storm clouds forming.
"Sh*t", I whispered under my breath.
I need to find some shelter quickly before the rain starts too pour. I can't go back to my house, especially not right after a fight that big with Kaveh, I'll have to go to Tighnari's place in Gandhara Ville in the rainforest.
I run quickly to the closest teleport waypoint, and stand by it, steadying myself for the teleportation to Gandhara Ville.
Almost immediately as I arrive in Gandhara Ville it starts to bucket down on me. I grab my cape-jacket and hold it above my head, so I don't get even more wet than I already am.
I quickly jog up one of the vine-held bridges surrounding Gandhara Ville, and head straight to Tighnari's house.
As soon as I get to Tighnari's house, I knock on the door rapidly, impatiently waiting for a response.
Tighnari opens the door, with a surprised look, and ushers me in out of the rain.
"Hello Alhaitham, this is quite an unexpected surprise".
"Hello Tighnari".
"Let me guess, you had yet another fight with Kaveh, and kicked yourself out of your own house".
"Yes, I did. Annoyingly enough".
"And now you need to shelter here from the rain, because you have too much pride in yourself to apologize".
"Yes, that is correct... May please stay the night here?"
"Of course you can Alhaitham, but only on the condition that you apologise to Kaveh in the morning when you return."
I sigh a loud and annoyed sigh, "Fine, only because you're giving me shelter."
"That's okay, as long as you apologise. Come on in then."
I walk past Tighnari and into his green treetop home. The first thing I see is Cyno asleep on the sofa, he's all spread out, with his one arm behind his head and the other resting on his stomach. He had one leg sitting on the sofa and the other leg hanging off the sofa.
"That's quite a comfy looking position" I quietly say under my breath.
Suddenly, Tighnari walks up behind me, and taps me on the shoulder.
"You gonna walk any further into my house or just look around at the untidiness?"
He asks, questioning my position, standing at the end of the hall way leading to the main area.
"Uh no, I am going to walk further, I was just looking at Cyno and wondering why he is here, and not out doing his job." I state to Tighnari.
"Ahhh.... Cyno is here becuase he's having a small 2 day break from being the General Mahamatra. He's been working non stop for 3 weeks straight, so the Akademiya decided to give him the smallest break possible, even though he deserves longer rest time." Tighnari says, sounding slightly annoyed at the Akademiya, for not giving his boyfriend more time to recuperate.
"Well I could ask the sages if they could give Cyno a couple days more, I am the Acting Grand Sage, so it is well within my power to do so."
A little smile forms on Tighnari's face at those words.
"Yes please, Alhaitham! If it is not too much trouble." the forest ranger says excitedly. "Anyways, let's talk about what happened between you and Kaveh, too make you kick yourself out of your own home. I'll make some coffee to drink while we talk."
"Thankyou Tighnari."
I walk over to the kitchen, and sit down on one of the stools by the kitchen island, while Tighnari follows suit, and goes around the kitchen island to the kettle. He fills the kettle with water, and puts it on to boil over the stove. He then walks over to the pantry and grabs out the jar of instant coffee powder and sets it down on the kitchen island. We chat a little about our work and how life's been until the kettle starts whistling.
Tighnari gets up off his stool, walks around to the stove and turns it off, he then grabs 2 mugs from a cabinet, and places them next to the coffee powder, he takes 2 spoons out of a drawer and plops them next to the mugs. He opens the instant coffee jar, and uses the spoons to put coffee powder in the mugs.
He leaves the spoons in the mugs, while getting the kettle and pouring the boiling water into the mugs.
"Do you want milk in your coffee or not?" Tighnari asks.
"No thankyou, I like my coffee black." I reply.
Tighnari then mixes the coffee powder and water together with the spoons in each mug. He pushes my mug towards me.
"Here you go." says the fox eared man.
"Thanks", I reply in a slightly tired voice.
"Now, would you like to tell me about what happened between you and Kaveh?" Tighnari asks.
"Yeah, I will." I say, glad that I could vent to someone.
So I start off my story with how, I was reading on the sofa, with a cup of coffee in hand, Kaveh is coming down the stairs with his sketch pad filled with architecture plans and drawing materials, he was probably tired of staying in his room all the time, and wanted a change of scenery.ย
Kaveh then walked over to the coffee table and set his stuff down messily, He opens his large sketch pad and opens his satchel filled with pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, rulers, etc.
He takes a pencil, pen, eraser, sharpener, ruler, artist divider (look it up),ย and protractor, out of his satchel and scatter them around his sketch pad, and randomly on the table.
"Could you please keep your things near to you." I said in an annoyed tone.
"Oh, sorry Alhaitham." Kaveh replies reluctantly.
He moves his things closer towards himself, and into neater piles. I put my feet up on the coffee table, and then placed my cup of coffee next to my feet so that I could turn the pages of my book easier.
We did our separate activities in peace for a while, until I moved my feet, and accidentally moved my cup of coffee, that then fell over from hitting one of Kaveh's erasers. It spilt all over Kaveh's sketch pad, including all his useless plans.
As soon as the coffee spilt on Kaveh's work, he stopped moving, he wouldn't move until it hit him that all the hours of work that he had put into that sketch pad had been ruined by a cup of coffee and me.
Kaveh was fuming, he was so angry he didn't know what to do with his emotions, all he knew was that is was "my" fault his work had been ruined. He looked up at me with anger in his eyes, he opened his mouth, and I braced myself for the shouting I was about to get.
