Chapter 19

Annabeth

Two hours!! TWO FREAKING HOURS!! I can't go out of my tent without being tackled and forced back into my tent! What am i going do? Rampage the camp?! (note sarcasm)

I walked back to my mirror and look at the person staring back at me. In less than five days i don't look my seventeen self. Stress has gotten to me and with everything thats been going on i haven't had any sleep. Well the sleep i have had has been short lived. All i want is my boyfriend and my camp! I wanna go home back to New York! Not here preparing for another battle. I was about to call out to Jason when i heard voices.

"..... You sure about this?" This voice was deep and husky.

"Yes! I'm posative! They'll be here in one week! Their coming when they least expect it. With Jackson down everyone would have their guard down its the perfect time to strike!" My eyes widened in shock.

"What about Chase?" Husky  guy asked.

"What about her? She can't do anything not on her own.... She the daughter of Wisdom not Miracles!" Guy two said. "besides we have special plans for her and her friends as well." I could hear them smiling. I waited to see if they say anything else but it seems like they walked away. I got out of my shock i walked to the entrance of my tent.

"Jason?" I poked my head out and he squealed. I couldn't help but snigger. "The great Jason Grace is scared of lil' old me!"

"I wasn't scared i was shocked! Theres a difference!" He said in defence. "Besides what is it you needed?"

"I need to see Chiron... its urgent!" I smiled sweetly.

"Annabeth.. i don't know... Thalia said not to let you out and she'll kill me if i do so i'm not gonna take the risk." He smiled apologetically.

"Oh.... Ok.." I popped my head back in then out again. "Oh yeah one more thing..."

"Yeah?"

"Night!" He looked at me confusingly. I brought the butt of my dagger up and smacked him with it. I pulled him in and dragged him to my bed. "Jesus Jason! You fattie!" I huffed and hauled him onto my bunk. I tucked him in facing away from the entrance to make it look like i was sleeping and dimmed the lights. I smiled at my handy work and turned to leave. Too heck am i gonna see Chiron! I need to see Percy!

I poked my head out. The coast was clear, and no sooner i was out and headed towards the infirmary quickly and silently. Several times i ducked into a tent when i saw someone coming. No doubt Thalia told the whole camp about my mental break down and i had to locked away until i'm calm. Truth be told.... on the inside i'm still crying, all i want to do is go and strangle the life out of Octavian for what he's done.

I arrived at the infirmary. Some beds where full, others where empty and some has curtains drawn for privacy. I huffed. Percy is in here some where and i need to see him. I got a move on. I got to the second to last bed that had curtains drawn when i found him.

I went in and closed the curtains. I turned and looked at Percy. I wanted to cry again. The covers where covering his legs to keep them warm, and there was a heater as the nights can get very cold here. But what got me was the bandages. He was wearing no top, and his torso was covered in bandages. I walked closer and perched on the bed by his side. The bandages outlined his toned muscles from relentless sword fighting and work outs he's done.

I could see blood coming through. I felt tears stinging my face as i started taking in all this. His beautiful face was clammy with sweat, every now and then his face contorted in pain as he breathed out. I grabbed his hand and tightly held on. I don't wanna loose him, he's all i got. Sure i have the others and Brianna but Percy has been there for my through everything.

I pulled a strand of hair away from his face. As i did his eyes fluttered open. Very quickly he bolted up right, knocking me off the bed. I looked up at him and saw him grimace with pain. He looked at me and his eyes brightened. The pain was still there, i can tell by his eyes, but he doesn't care.

"Annabeth..." I shot up and hugged him. As gently as i could.

"Percy....." Fresh tears glistened my eyes and escaped. I tried to hide it but he wouldn't let me. His hand connected with my cheek and i felt a tingle. He pulled my face towards his and kissed me. I kissed back and all my problems went away. He was the first to pull away. He kept his eyes on me the whole time, I could see the love he has for me in his eyes. Thats why i love them, not just for colour but because they showed all his emotions.

"I'm so happy your ok." He whispered. He kissed the palm of my hand.

"I'm ok? Your the one in the infirmary Percy! You could've died! And your happy that i'm ok!" I asked shocked. I saw his face darken. "I was so scared Percy..... I know Octavian hates you but you had nothing to do with that fight I-"

"He wasn't aiming for me." He whispered not looking at me when he said this. He looked me dead in the eyes. "He was aiming for you." I was shocked. I don't know why, i just was. "I took the blade to save you."

"You prat!" I smacked his arm. He looked offened, then i hugged him. "Thank you." I whispered in his ear.

"I know you'll do the same for me."

"Heck! I would take a bullet for you if it comes to that Percy! Not just a blade!" He laughed and kissed my fore head. I smiled then it faded, i need to tell Percy what i heard. "Percy i need to tell you something."

He looked at me confused. "Ok?" I took a deep breath and began.

I started from the point when i had my little break down and told him what Thalia planned. He laughed every now and then, and for some reason i laughed with him. Then i told him about the conversation i heard from outside my tent.

"You sure you weren't dreaming?" He asked

"Yes! Pretty sure i wasn't dreaming!" I said determined. I told him the last little bit about their plan. His eyes bugged out of his head when i told him.

"A week! We only have a week!" He sounded panicky.

"I know! plus we still need more demigods! then train them!" I was really worried. I watched Percy. I could see plans running through his mind.

"You told Chiron yet?" I shook my head no.

"I wanted to see how you were doing then i was gonna tell him." He took this in. Then suddenly he swung his legs over the edge of the bunk and with allot of effort he pushed himself up and off his bed. He grabbed his top and threw it on, he then slipped on his black converses and pocket Riptide. He looked at me.

"Perce? What are you doing?!" I asked bit annoyed.

"We're gonna need all the people we've got, and i'm not gonna sit around and do nothing while my camp gets killed!"

"Your not properly healed yet!" I stood up. He was a good three inches taller than me but i looked him dead in the eye, serious. "You could hurt yourself even more if you don't rest!"

"But if i rest i could loose everyone and everything i love!" He almosted shouted. "I'm not prepared for that yet Annabeth! Especially loosing you! I won't be able to live if your not here Annabeth..... i need you." He looked pleadingly at me. "Camps my home just as much as yours Wise Girl, and i'm gonna need your help if what you say is true." I thought about it and huffed.

"Your such a stubborn ass! After all this is over your resting for a year!" I turned and stormed out of the infirmary with a laughing Percy behind me.

We were currently in the middle of a meeting in Chirons tent. With me, Percy and Chiron where, Lacey and a well rested Reece, Chris and Clarrise, Will, Nico, a very pissed off Thalia, a very dazed Jason Grace (oops), Piper, Leo, Frank, Hazel, Travis, Connor and Katie and a very beat up Mick. i frowned slightly when i noticed something, i turned to everyone else.

"Wheres Bri?" I looked at them all, they all shrugged.

"Last time i heard Jason and had a romantic night planned, haven't heard since." Piper shrugged. I looked over at Lacey and she, too, was worried. Her and Brianna where very close, they are like sisters.

"I'm pretty sure its nothing..." Lacy said but didn't sound convinced. It didn't feel right her not being here. I'll just find out later.

"Right straight to the point..." Percy began. "We've had a tip off that the rogues will be here in a week not two." Everyone was wide eyed.

"WHAT!" They all screamed.

"We haven't even started training!" Reece shouted. "How are my demigods meant to fight if they haven't had proper training! We'll die!"

"We haven't even made weapons for most of them!" Leo exclaimed.

"We haven't come up with battle plans!" Clarrise boomed.

"PERCY HAS A PLAN!" I screamed at the top of my voice. "So if you guys would shut up he can explain what it is!" They all sat back down, quiet.

"Right.... We need more demigods.... Reece you said you and Lacey know where more demigods are, right?" They nodded. He looked at his watch. "Its five in the morning now so as soon as this is over we'll go and pack then head off. Clarrise while we're gone you and the Athena cabin are in charge of strategies and teaching it to everyone. Leo, you and your siblings get a start on making weapons and making sure everyone has the weapon they need. Will your incharge of teaching archery along with your cabin. Thalia and Frank you two can help. Chris and Mick you two are incharge with Chiron organizing fighting tornaments that will help with practice. Travis and Connor you two are in charge of rounding up a team, possibly your siblings. Katie, Hazel and Piper you guys can vary yourself amoungst the teams go where you think your most needed and help ok? So every one got the plan if-" He stopped abruptedly and turned.

Everyone turned to what he was looking at and my heart sank. Standing in the entrance of the tent was Brianna. She panting and crying.

"I need your help!"
