Chapter 20

Brianna

Pain. That was all i felt. One minute i was having a amazing time the next i was covered in blood and cuts and Jason (not grace) was missing! So after gathering my wits i ran to find Annabeth and Percy. Thats when i found them having a meeting. Everyone gasped when they saw me. Heads turned and Annabeth spun round, her eyes wide.

"Brianna!" She rushed to my side. "Will she needs help!" He got up and rushed to me i just shrugged them off.

"No time! I need your help Annabeth!" I told her what happened and her eyes widened as i told the story. Everyone else was listening intensly, it sorta made me nervous but i carried on. By the end she was thinking hard. She opened her mouth to say something when there was a bright light.

It was too bright for me liking. But i couldn't look away. I don't know why but something about it seemed familiar. When the light dimmed, there was a iris message.

In the iris message was a guy. He seemed to be older than Percy and Annabeth. I couldn't really tell. He had coffee coloured skin and intense black eyes. He had no hair which made it more scarrier. I wanted to look away but something off to the side caught my attention.

Off on the side i saw someone struggling. It was faint but i could make out a face. It took me a few minutes but when i finally did i gasped. Jason..... This guy ook him! I was scared and angry at the same time. Scared that i could loose him and angry cause they took him and ruined everything!

"Jason!" My eyes started to water. I could tell he wanted to say something but got punched in the stomach. I gasped and winced.

"Stop it!" The man laughed at my screaming. Annabeth held me back as i went charging at the message.

"What do you want!?" Percy asked in a low, venomous voice. I admit i got scared. he sounds scary like that.

"Thats not how you treat an old acquaintencePerseus," The man spread out his hands gesturing to himself. "And what i want Perseus is you!" I don't know if it was just me but suddenly the air got colder. Even tho it was like still summer and boiling out. I looked at Annabeth and her face was a deathly pale, eyes wide.

"What do you want with Percy?!" Nico shouted standing infront of Percy protectively.

"Nothing much son of Hades....." Nico was wide eyed.

"How-"

"How do i know?" He chuckled. "I know everyong thats in the room! Annabeth Chase Daughter of Athena! Piper McLean Daughter of Aphrodite-"

"OK! WE GET IT!" Percy yelled. His eyes were like a hurricane, i inched away. "If you get me you release Jason!"

"What!" I yelped.

"Percy! NO! I won't let you-" Annabeth yelled.

"We need you Percy-" Everyone was shouting and obejectin. All Percy done was look down. He brought his head up and glared at us. The look he gave us shut us up instantly.

"If it protects you lot and get Jason back safely then i'll do it!" He turned to Dameon. "Fine i'll do it! Where do you want me to go?"

'Dameon smirked. "Well Percy that was quick! Stand out side your camp and wait there! I'll be there in half an hour.... If your not there welll lets say Son of Hades over here won't look the same again!" With that the message evaporated.

I just stared wide eyed. His secret is out. Everyone looked at me and i just looked around aimlessly. I couldn't meet their eyes. But i could feel their gazes boring into me.

"Jason.... he's a son of Hades!" Nico said outstanded. "I have another brother!"

"Bri why didn't you tell us?!" Percy said glaring at me.

"Jason didn't feel ready yet.... he felt like if he came out now then it would be all complicated!" I yelled, tears streaming down my face, as the thought that my boyfriend could die or get seriously hurt.

"Bri it ok....." Jason Grace said. I looked up and i could tell he's trying to comfort me.

"HOW THOUGH!" I screamed. "EVERYTHING THAT COULD GO WRONG IN MY LIFE HAS HAPPENED! HOW COULD IT BE OK JASON!" Just saying the name, even if its not my Jason, it still hurts.

"Bri calm down-"

"CALM DOWN! CALM DOWN! HE'S THE ONLY THING IN MY LIFE THAT MAKES IT WORTH IT! IF I LOOSE HIM....." I broke down in a fit of tears. Normally i wouldn't cry infront of people, but i don't have the will power to carrie myself away and cry alone.

"Bri... we're here.... we won't let anything happen to him, Bri, we promise...." Annabeth whispered, pulling me into a hug. "Your my little sister..... if they mess with you they mess with me as well!"

"They mess with all of us Bri! We're a family, we stick together....." Reece added.

"As long as we're together nothing and no one can stop us......" Leo chimed in.

"Thats why i've got a plan!" Percy said, although i can tell he's still miffed with the whole situation. Annabeth turned to him. Before Percy could say anything Annabeth said what she was thinking.

"You know him, Percy, don't you?" Annabeth accussed.

"No! I don't know what you-" She cut him off.

"Yes you do Percy! Don't lie to me!" Her eyes flamed. I was going to interrupt, but Thalia gave me a look saying I wouldn't do that. So i just backed away, with everyone else, as these two fought. No one ready to interfere.

"I'm not lieing!" He said in defence.

"LIE!" She screeched.  "Thats all you do Percy! Lie! You lie to me and everyone else!" She gestured to all of us.

"Percy... Tell her....." Thalia said.

"TELL ME WHAT!" She looked between Thalia and Percy. "I WILL KILL THE BOTH OF YOU IF YOU DON'T TELL ME WHATS GOING ON!" She held out her dagger.

"Annabeth..... I'll tell you but not here...." Percy said, looking at everyone.

"Why! We're a fmily and we don't keep secrets Percy!" Annabeth said.

"If you wanna know then i'll tell you!" He shouted. "But! Not! Here!"

"Whats so important that no one else has to be around Percy!" I could tell from this angle that her eyes are watering up. I saw percy turn and walk away. Then Annabeth done the imaginable.

She threw her dagger at Percy. It was something out of a movie. Everything went slow motion and my eyes widened as she flung her arm back and chucked it. She done it with such grace, speed that no one could stop her. The dagger speeded towards Percy. It missed him and embedded itself into the wooden pole by that exit. Percy stopped and spun round, his eyes blazing.

"YOU CRAZY BITCH! YOU COULD'VE KILLED ME!" He unsheathed Riptide.

"TOO BAD I DIDN'T!" She countered. Grabbing a spare sword.

"SHOULD'VE LEFT YOU IN TARTARUS CHASE!" He lunged.

"THEN WHY DIDN'T YA!" She locked and parried. "YOU ALMOST KILLED ME ANYWAY! YOU HAD PLENTY OF CHANCES TO LEAVE ME THERE!"

"BUT I'M TOO LOYAL FOR MY OWN GOOD! I'M STARTING TO REGRET MY CHOICE NOW!" He swiped at Annabeth and caught her cheek. She dropped the sword and screamed. Percy's eyes widened in realization. Dropping Riptide, he ran to her.

"Annabeth! I'm so sorry baby! I didn't mean-" She swung and delivered a jaw raking punch. Everyone even me winced. She brought her head up, her right side of her face covered in blood, with more pouring down. Her grey eyes showed only hate, and disgust. Percy sat there, rubbing his jaw.

He tried getting up but Annabeth kicked him square in the stomach, winding him. We were about to go and help when she suddenly lunged, fists flying.

"ANNABETH!" Everyone was screaming and shouting and taking sides.

Reece, Chris, Connor and Travis, Nico, Jason, Frank and Leo took Percy's side. Katie, me, Lacey, Thalia, Piper, Clarrise, Reyna and Hazel took Annabeth's. There was less of us girls but we didn't care the boys are scared most times. The only people who weren't taking sides wa Will and Chiron, they just sat there waiting.

All this taking sides shiz, caused arguments between other couples. Lacey and Reece were yelling at each other calling each other stupid. Hazel and Frank were calling each other out of order. Travis and Katie..... i couldn't here anything else above my own shouting.

I looked at Percy. He managed to get up but he was in a state. He was covered in cuts and bruises. His left eye was swollen, he had a fat lip, the skin on his cheek split and was weeping, and his nose was a waterfall of blood. I also saw he had a tooth missing. I was about to say something when Chiron shouted.

"ENOUGH!" We all fell silent. His eyes blazing with anger. He looked at all of us, dissapointment and anger showing at once. "HOW ARE WE MEANT TO DEFEAT THEM IF WE'RE FIGHTING OURSELVES!" We all looked down at our feet. "Will take Percy and Annabeth to the infirmary...." He did so. "Everyone else this is what we're going to do...."
