I can't sleep. Nothing is bothering me, inside i feel peaceful, especially when i have Annabeth cuddlef next to me. I just can't sleep. Out here its so peaceful, the moon is so bright, stars are shining, everytime i see stars they remind me of Annabeth's eyes. Just glistening and full of life.

I let out a soft sigh. I thought our lives would be simple, no more quests, no more monsters, just me and Annabeth.

Next to me I heard Annabeth moan. I kept my eyes on her, just in case she has a night mare. I heard her breathing pick up, now she wa writhing and hyperventalating. I sat her up and tried to wake her.

"Annabeth? Wake up!" I shook her. I carried on shaking her, finally she jumped and almost knocked me out of the tree.

"Percy i'm so sorry!" I saw panic in her eyes.

"Its ok Annabeth, you panicked me for a sec! There you were sleeping peacefully then you started having a night mare!"

"I don't want to talk about it before you ask Perce," She pulled up her knees and hugged herself. I done the best boyfriend thing and embraced her in a hug. "You know what song i have stuck in my head righ now?"

"No? What?" I have to admit i'm really curious.

"Drops of Jupiter by Train," I smiled, it was one of her favorite songs. I done the unthinkable and started singing it.

"Now that she's back in the atmosphere,

She stopped and let me carry on. "Now that she's back from that soul vacation

The best soy latte that you ever had... And me" We both sighed and leant in to each other our fore heads touching. I took a breathe and sang the last verse.

"Well least one of us sounds good," I poked my tongue out earning me a punch. "Come on les get some sleep, before we head off in a few hours." We layed back down and i instantly feel asleep.

we woke up and it was just coming to dawn. I shook Annabeth awake.

"Come on wise girl we need to eat!" We both go up and stretched. I jumped down then helped Annabeth. She looked at me and smiled.

"What? Your looking at me weird?" I inched away. She's got something up her sleeve.

"Oh.... nothing. You know that song you hate.... Pocket Full of Sunshine?"

"Yeah?"

"Well i have it in my head and i thought 'Percy hates me keeping secrets so i'll share it with him!'" She smiled evily.

"NO! DON'T YOU DARE OR I'LL...." He stopped.

"Too late! I gotta pocket, gotta pocket ful of sunchine! I got a love and i know thats it all mine! OH OH WHOA!" She smiled at my misery. I clamped a hand over her mouth, my eyes pleading.

"Annabeth i'll do what ever you want just please don't sing that song!" She thought about it then nodded.

"Ok then...... when we get to town you have to get up infront of every one and sing Mcfly Stargirl!" She stiffeled back a laugh. My eyes widen, but i nodded. It was either that or Annabeth sing Natasha Bedingfeild Pocketful of Sunshine.

"Fine!" I threw my hands up and started walking. Annabeth started speed walking. "WHOA! Speedy Gonsalis! I'm pretty sure the food will be here when we get there!"

"Thats not why i'm speedy walking!" She turned and winked at me. I'm gonna regret this for as long as i live.

an hour and a half later we arrived in a very busy little town. I don't know the towns name but all i know is that to my rotton luck there was a stage and people singing. I inwardly groaned. Annabeth grinned like the chesser cat!

"Looks like we are just in time!" She grabbed my hand and dragged me to the side of the small cage. Annabeth started talking to some one and they nodded. She can back to me looking triumphant. "They said your on next!" She pecked me on the cheek and pushed me to the stage.

"Right you will enter threw here sing your song and exit the other side!" I nodded and got ready. She is gonna pay for this! An anouncer called my name and i walked on stage.

"Hi I'm Percy and well i'll guess you'll see what song i'm gonna sing." I nodded and the music started playing.

"Hey, I'm looking up for my star girl

I guess I'm stuck in this mad world

I took a breath and relaxed. Everyone clapped, wolfwhislted and jeered. I turned my head and saw Annabeth by the side of the stage her phone out no doubt videoing this. I flick her the bird and walked off. She ran up to me and hugged me.

"I CAN'T BELIEV YOU DONE THAT! YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO!"She was crying with laughter. I just glared at her.

"Nex time theres kareoke and we're there your singing!" With that we walked away looking for some where to eat. She is so gonna pay!
