Chapter 50

*Alex's POV*

I held Oskar's hand as we watched the dark clouds fade away and the bright sun take their place. I had managed to get him to leave the Avengers alone and he brought me to the park Loki and I visited when we first met. My son and I floated above the trees and I laid my head against his shoulder as he stared off in the distance.

"Is this a dream?" I asked as I looked down to the city and watched it's people.

"It is the future." Oskar replied. I lifted my head up and furrowed my brows as I stared over at him.

"Our future?" I asked him as I looked away and back over the city.

"A future." He said as he looked over at me and slowly brought us back down. Our feet touched the ground and he let me go as he walked away.

"Wait, what?" I asked as I quickly followed. The world around me faded to black and my son slowly disappeared in front of me.

"No." I whispered as I frantically looked around. I heard a soft chuckle and it sent shivers down my spin because I recognized it immediately.

"Evil Loki." I harshly said as I turned around and stared at the man. He looked like his corpse that was still on Oskar.

"What is wrong, Alex? Did you not like the future? Does seeing your precious child murder your friends upset you?" He teased as a smirk spread across his face.

"Now that I know this was all your doing, I don't really care." I shrugged.

"I know that this is just a mind game. Illusions." I added.

"Is it?" He asked as he raised an amused brow.

"Yep. I passed out from the pain and my Loki is probably working hard to bring me back, my body is stressed and scared so it sent you as the internal picture of my fear." I shrugged again.

"Interesting thought, but wrong." He chuckled.

"When I took control of you on Oskar, a little piece of me stayed behind after you managed to break free. I've been hidden in your thoughts, weak and trapped. But after you received the poison I made, it weakened you, giving me a change to break free." Evil Loki explained as he walked towards me.

"That doesn't sound real, but sure." I rolled my eyes at his nonsense, which only pissed him off. He suddenly appeared right in front of me and grabbed my throat and squeezed. I grabbed his and he dug his nails into mine, drawing blood.

"I will kill your consciousness and fully take over your body as my own. The first thing I will do it kill the parasite growing inside of you and then the bastard who put it there." He harshly whispered as he leaned in close.

"Why...do bad guys...always reveal...their plan." I gasped. I swung my knee up and smashed it into his crotch, causing him to let me go and hunch over in pain. I grabbed him by the hair on the back of his head and slammed his face into my knee as hard as I could.

Evil Loki began laughing as blood spilled out of his nose and mouth. He stood up and I took a cautious step back as the area around us slowly turned into a padded room. Evil Loki threw his hand out towards me and an old whitish yellowish straight jacket flew towards me. It quickly wrapped around me and I struggled to move my arms as Evil Loki walked towards me. My back hit the padded wall and Evil Loki grabbed me by the throat as he smiled, his white teeth covered in blood.

"You are not strong enough to fight me in here. I have all of the control, my love." He harshly said, mocking Loki's nickname for me. I threw my head out and it crashed into his forehead, pushing him away from me. I charged him and tackled him to the ground, using my shoulder to push him down. He threw me off of him and punched me in the face before getting to his feet. He fixed his clothes and walked over to the opposite side of the room.

"Now, be a good little human and stay put." He chuckled as a small rectangle door appeared on the wall. It opened up and he left the room, leaving me alone and pissed off. I sat up and the wall to my left flickered and I lowered my head to shield my eyes as it turned into a screen with a bright white light on it. The light faded and I inhaled hard when I saw the Asgardian infirmary and the nurses desperately trying to save someone.

"She-she's stabilizing." One nurse chuckled in relief as she and the others relaxed and smiled down at the screen. I spotted Loki and the others in the back and put it together that it was my own eyes that I was looking through.

"No." I whispered.

"Loki!!!" I screamed out but my body didn't make a sound. I was no longer in control.

*Loki's POV*

I rushed over to Alex's side and took her bloody hand in mine as I smiled at her. Her eyes closed for a moment and then opened back up and I lost my smile when I saw that they were a soft green color. Her dark brown eyes slowly faded before my own and I knew something was very wrong.

"Brother." I warned as I let Alex's hand go. Her hand suddenly shot up and grabbed me by the throat, choking me with a strength I knew Alex didn't possess.

"Alex??" Peter asked as he and the others rushed over to the bedside.

"Guess again." Her beautiful voice was now rough, raspy, and had a mix of...my own in it. Her eyes were now fully green and my stomach was turning with fear as to what was happening.

"Lady Alex, let him go." My Thor demanded. Alex gripped tighter and I grabbed her wrist as I tried to pry her off of me. She smirked as I slyly I formed a magical dagger in my free hand, I then brought it up to her throat, pointing the tip right against her. Her eyes fell on me and her head tilted into the point of the dagger, forcing me to pull away to avoid piercing her skin.

"You will not kill her, Loki." She was moving her lips but she wasn't the one speaking.

"W-What happened to Alex?" Peter asked as his mask formed on his face. She growled and threw me away from the bed as she sat up fully.

"I locked the human away and took her body. I told you on Oskar, I will not be defeated!" She screamed.

"Evil Loki." I whispered as I touched my throat and stood up.

"Now, who shall I kill first? My idiotic brother? My worthless false father? Perhaps it should be the other Loki and his idiotic brother." Evil Loki harshly said through Alex's voice.

"You will do nothing." Odin snapped as his guards filled the room.

"And how will you stop me, old man? To kill me you have to kill her and we all know Loki will never let you harm his human." She smirked.

"She, uh, he is right father. You can't hurt her." Second Thor agreed as he gripped the handle of his hammer in his hand.

"To save my people and rid the world of my Loki once and for all, I will." Odin harshly argued as he nodded. His guards readied their weapons and Alex smirked as she jumped off of the bed and glared at the guards. She lowered her head and her upper back slouched much like Evil Loki's body did when he was alive.

"You wouldn't!" Peter scoffed in disbelief.

"He would." I harshly said as I glared over at Odin. I knew my father and this man was worse than him. Maybe my Odin would think twice before killing Alex, maybe even consider a way to save her and Loki's life, but not this Odin.

"Do not let her leave this room!" Odin ordered his men.

Alex threw her hands out and we all flinched back, ready for an attack, but nothing happened. She lost her smirk and stared down at her hands as her brows furrowed in confusion. She clenched her jaw and exhaled as she threw her hands out a second time, but again, nothing happened.

"Alex cannot control elements here, she is powerless." I informed Evil Loki as I walked towards him.

"You are powerless." I harshly added as she dropped her arms. She closed her eyes and her body fell backwards and hit the hard ground. I rushed to her side but a green aura overcame her and I was locked out. I put my hands on the aura as her body began to slightly lift into the air and her chest began convulsing.

"What's he doing to her??" Peter asked as his mask disappeared and he pushed against the aura.

"I-I am not sure..." I whispered as I watched her with worrisome eyes.

Her eyes shot open and her body fell flat to the ground as the aura disappeared from around her. Peter and I shared a worried look as his mask covered his face once again. She slowly stood up and smirked as she looked down at her hands, her fingers slightly moving as if she were moving them through fine sand.

"What did you do?" I harshly demanded to know.

"What I am good at." She replied, equally as harsh.

"Making myself stronger and better than all of you." She threw her hands out once again and this time a violent gust of wind blasted us away from her. I flew out of the doorway and my Thor flew through the wall next to it. I hit my head on the wall and groaned as I stared at Alex. She tensed her hand in a position similar to when you grab someone by the throat and smirked as one of the guards began gasping for air.

"How did she do that??" My Thor asked as he pushed the rubble off of him.

"He must have done something to her brain. I-I am not sure." I said as I stood up and helped my brother to his feet. Alex threw a few guards out of the window and Peter jumped out as well, intending to save them.

"Kill her!!" Odin yelled out.

"No!" I yelled before teleporting to Alex. I grabbed her wrist and teleported out of the room before she could do anymore damage. I took us to the highest point in Asgard, the mountain my Odin taught me to fly off of. When we appeared she forced herself out of my grip and hunched over as she threw up.

"Teleporting makes her morning sickness act up." I smirked as Evil Loki vomited uncontrollably.

"I will kill you all!" She screamed as she threw her hand towards me. A large rock pulled from the ground and flew at me but it just went through my illusion as I stood behind Alex, invisible.

"How did you make it so she could control elements here?" I asked as more illusions formed around her. She smirked and gripped her fists together, sending sharp rocks up from the ground and through my illusions.

"How original." I rolled my eyes as I appeared in front of her and crossed my arms.

"She always could, she just never let herself." Alex's raspy voice replied as she began to walk around me, like a shark and it's prey.

"Her accident exposed her to elements made from our Earth and Asgard, she can only control the elements she was infused with." I explained as I watched her.

"Wrong." She chuckled.

"The accident opened her mind and body up to the elements. The ones from your Earth and Asgard are strongest, but she could always faintly feel the others. She never realized it because you pathetic weaklings kept telling her she could not manipulate any elements not present during the accident. I just fully opened her up, making her stronger!" She shouted as she threw another large rock at me. I dodged it by teleporting away and behind her.

"Why are you like this?" I asked as I crossed my arms. She turned around and smirked as she gripped the air in front of her. I gasped for air as I fell to my feet, my throat feeling intense pressure.

"You should know, Loki, you are me." She angrily whispered. I looked up into her dull green eyes and raised my brows when I saw them flicker back to dark brown. The grip on my throat weakened for a second and I knew it was Alex fighting back.

"Correction, I was you. I learned to better myself, allowed myself to trust those around me." I argued as I slowly stood up.

"Like Thor." I choked out as the gripping tightened back up.

"Like Frigga." Her green eyes flashed to dark brown again and I knew I was getting to Evil Loki, pulling his concentration and allowing Alex to fight him on the inside.

"Like Odin."

"No!" She screamed as she threw her fist towards me. A rock came up from the ground and pierced my side, causing me to yell out in pain as I grabbed my bloody side.

*Alex's POV*

I forced myself out of the straight jacket as Loki's yells of pain filled the room around me. My breathing was hard and fast as I gripped my fists and watched the screen.

"I'm done with this Evil Loki shit." I harshly whispered as I stormed towards the door. I forced it open and walked out of the padded room and into Tony's destroyed living room.

"You!" I screamed as I spotted Evil Loki on the balcony. He turned around and his eyes went wide when he saw me storming towards him.

"This is my head!" I harshly said as the image of the Avengers slowly formed behind me. I was using everything I had left to take him out in the only way I knew how.

"And you're not welcome." I whispered as I threw my hand out, the others following suit. I gripped Evil Loki's throat as each Avenger did their own ability, sending it towards him. Hawkeye with an arrow to the leg, Black Widow shot him in the shoulder, Tony blasted him in the chest, Steve's shield smashed the bone in his other leg, Hulk stomped on the ground and it broke under Evil Loki, trapping his broken leg, Peter covered his mouth with a web to stop his screaming, Thor threw his hammer and smashed his hands, and Loki threw a magical dagger right into his only working eye. Bright green fire engulfed Evil Loki and took him away, giving me control of everything once again. When I dropped my hand the others also disappeared and I was left alone in the darkness. I closed my eyes as the tears of relief fell down my cheeks. I opened my eyes and stared up at the light pink sky above us.

"Loki?" I softly called out as I slowly sat up. Loki was on his knees and healing himself with a determined look on his face. He snapped his eyes over to mine and relaxed when he realized it was me. I stood up but felt extremely dizzy from all of the fighting, mentally and physically, and suddenly passed out again.
