Chapter eleven

"Are you ready?!" Jiwon asks me, looking at me in the mirror, doing the final touches to my hair

"Are you sure it's not too much?" I ask worried

"No, it's perfect" She spins me around to look at her, clipping the white clip on the right side of my crimped hair to push it out of my face slightly

I turn to the mirror again in shock, I look... pretty?

Her hands lay on my shoulders again as she looks at me in awe

She lent me some of her clothes as I am in desperate need of a shopping trip but she was quick to arrange one

I'm wearing a white top that flows from the middle of the chest down to my hips, it has a sage green and blue floral print

The white skirts peaks out from beneath the top, flowing a little bit above my thighs, my white socks with frills at the top hit a little bit below the knee, peaking out from the brown boots that go up to the top of my calf, a buckle hanging loosely from them

A brown bag hangs from my shoulder and reaches my hip, to match with the boots, my necklace falls on top of my chest with the pendant glistening in the light

And the beaded bracelet hangs around my wrist

"You look amazing" She tells me once again

"I feel amazing" I admit with a big smile on my face

"If he doesn't flood you with compliments he is the blindest and stupidest boy in the world"

"But I'm sure he will" She confirms

"When is he coming?" She asks

"About..." I pull out my phone to see his name written against the top

"Now?!" I panic showing her the incoming call

"Answer it, put it on speaker!" She squeals and I do, she keeps her mouth quiet as i talk

"Hi" I smile even though he can't see my face right now

"Hey, I'm outside, are you ready?" He asks

"Yep, pretty much" I turn to the mirror again, examining my look, making sure everything is perfect

"Okay, I'll see you in a minute?"

"Yeah" I smile as the calls ends

"OH MY GOD!" Jiwon squeals

"I swear you better tell me everything tonight, I'll text you if things go well with Sunghoon and you two can come over" We rush downstairs to the front door

"Remember, just be yourself" She smiles as I reach for the door knob

"Have an amazing time!" She practically pushes me out and my eyes lay on him

He's leaning against his car and once he sees me his face lights up as I walk towards him

"You look..." He scans over my body and I get nervous to what his next word is going to be

"Beautiful" His eyes meet mine again as he smiles

"Thank you" I smile in relief as I scan over his outfit

He has a blue and white jacker with some writing, it's unzipped so I can see his white shirt peaking out

His blue jorts with white lace detailing at the bottom are hanging loosely around his waist, his boxers peaking out from the top, a chain is connecting from the strap on the front of his jorts to the strap on the back

His white socks go up to his ankles, peaking out from his timberlands which the front is hanging down as it is not tied up

His black sunglasses sit perfectly on his nose and his hair sits perfectly on his face

"Here" He quickly says running around to the passenger seat of the car and I follow him, he opens the door to allow me to get in

"Thank you" I look up at him as I enter the car, he closes the door and rushes to the drivers seat before we set off

We enter a small ice cream shop that is a little while from Jiwons house, it has a few booths and some tables

We walk up to the counter and have a look at the menu

"What are you thinking?" He asks me

"Hmm... strawberry" I tell him as I see my favourite flavour

"Do you want a drink?" He questions

"No it's okay" I smile up at him

"Are you sure, I'm gonna get a boba?" He asks

A boba does sound amazing right now

"So it's settled, what one do you like?"

Did I just say that out loud?

"Yeah, you did Haerin" He laughs

No way I did it again

"Ohh, what's the Aurora series?" He shows me the flavours and my eyes instantly land on the white peach and lychee

"White peach and lychee?" I tell him

"What popping balls?"

"Hmm, green apple and strawberry" I smile

"You got it" He smiles as we greet the worker

"Can I get two ice cream cones, one with strawberry and the other with green tea"

"And two bobas, one the Aurora series, white peach and lychee with strawberry and green apple popping balls and the other is just a milk tea, please"

"Okay, tap your card whenever you're ready" And he does so, without even letting me protest to pay for mine

"Want to stay in here or shall we go take a walk?" He offers

"It is a good day outside" I point out

"Eat ice cream in here and drink outside?" I offer

"Exactly what I wanted to do" He smiles as we take a booth beside the window, we wait for our order and just talk the whole time

It's so easy to talk to him

I smile at the worker as she hands us our ice cream and drinks

"Let me try yours" He leans over and takes a bite out of my ice cream without even asking

"Oh okay, I see how it is, let me try yours" I return the same thing he did to his

"That is..." I trail off as the taste fills my mouth

"Not my favourite" I admit

"Rude?!" He laughs

"I wasn't trying to be!" I exclaim

We both laugh and end up finishing our ice cream pretty walk before leaving the shop, the cool breeze hits my face and I shiver

"Are you cold?" He asks me so quickly

"No I'm okay" I tell him but I can tell he doesn't buy it as we walk through the street

I admire everything, I've never been here before and it's so pretty

I'm surrounded by shops and food places, all having a very different but perfect exterior, the pink blossom trees sway in the wind

"Here, take this" Ni-Ki suddenly stops and sets down his drink, taking off his jacket

"I'm okay, Ni-Ki—" And the jacket is around my shoulder as he takes my drink from my hands and puts my arms through the holes of the jacket

"Am I a baby?" I giggle

"No no, of course not, I just knew you wouldn't wear it" He shrugs handing me back my drink as we walk

His jacket is way to big for me, I have to roll up one of the arms so I can hold my drank and the jacket falls to my knees

We both walk up to Jiwons house, giggling at him almost tripping over air

Turns out her and Sunghoon talk went well, she texted me about an hour ago asking for us to come over and watch a movie

It was starting to get dark outside so we took up the offer, I knock the door and Jiwon greets me with a smile on her face

"Come in, come in" She leads us into her room where Sunghoon is lying on her bed

"Ni-Ki!" He gets up and dabs up his friend as I take off my shoes and jump on my friends double bed

"Both of you go get food or something" Jiwon demands

"What so you can gossip?" Ni-Ki laughs as well as Sunghoon

"No?!" She so badly lies

"Just get something good" She says and they both leave the room, shutting the door

"HE GAVE YOU HIS JACKET?!" She squeals looking at the blue jacket that's way to big for me

"He's so nice, Jiwon!" I squeal back

"So what did you do?" She asks

"We got ice cream and boba and went on a walk, we literally talked the whole time and any time it went silent, it wasn't awkward" I explain

"It was a comforting silence"

"Yes! I'm so glad it went well!"

"So you and Sunghoon?" I nudge her for all the details

"We may have kissed..."

I literally scream in response, I mean scream at the top of my lungs

"Both of our dates went well!" I point out

"Yes they did and now we get to snuggle up with them on the couch!"

"Did Ni-Ki kiss you?" She asks

"No no, it was the first date" I roll my eyes

"Well me and Sunghoon didn't even have a first date before we kissed, we may have even done more" She admits with a shrug

"What?!"

"No way!"

"Yes way!"

"Let's go pick out a movie, preferably a scary one" She grins as well run downstairs and search for a movie

We are all sitting on the two couches in the living room, the lights are off but the tv is slightly lighting up the room

I slightly jump as the killer surprises the victim and I bury my head into Ni-Ki's chest as his arm falls over my back, I hear him giggle a little

Suddenly we are interrupted by the light turning on and everyone walking in

Jay, Sunoo, Jungwon, Jake and Heeseung

"What is going on here?!" Jay yells looking at all of us, and Heeseung just glares at me as I slowly get out of Ni-Ki's arms embarrassed we just got caught

"We are watching a movie, what does it look like?!" Jiwon snaps back

"Now get out!" She throws a pillow at her brother

"I can't, you two are not back together" He pretends to gag

"My best friend and my sister!"

"Are y'all just not gonna acknowledge Ni-Ki and Haerin?!" Heeseung exclaims

"They flirt all the time, Heeseung, it's not a surprise" Jake replies

"No they don't?" Heeseung questions confused

"Where have you been the past week?" Jungwon laughs at his friend

"Just ew, split it up" Jay walks over to his sister and best friend and pulls his sister away from him

"Jay stop!" She yells, I can feel Ni-Ki's body vibrate as his soft laugh fills my ears

"You not gonna document this?" I ask Heeseung, reminding him from the time they were fighting over the speaker

"No, I'm not" He replies coldly, storming out of the room

What's wrong with him?

GUYS I CANTNIKI AND HAERIN ARE SO CUTE!!

But Heeseung and Haerin just have to end up together I'm sorry!
