Eight- Run

[Amelia's POV]

We've been standing by the door for what seems like hours,Waiting for newt and Minho to come back.

Earlier I saw alby running back and forth from the door looking for something.

I walked over to him.

"They should have been back by now" I heard him mumbling to himself.

Right after I heard him say that I knew that newt and Minho haven't came out of the maze yet.

Me, alby and Gally went towards the door counting down the minutes until the doors closed,Suddenly newt came sprinting around the corner with Minho not far behind.

Then the doors started closing,Newt started all out sprinting towards the door,Minho looked absoulutly exhausted like he was sprinting all day.

Newt suddenly comes running through the closing door.

I hear alby and Gally shouting in the background,RUN!RUN!they say.

And I'm just staring,Starring at Minho,Then I feel a tear,A single tear sliding down my face.

And I think Minho saw,I think he saw that tear because Minho starts sprinting,And when I say sprinting I mean sprinting,He sprints so fast,the fastest that I have ever seen anyone run,And the doors are closing,They're closing fast,Really fast.

He's going to make it I think to myself,He's going to make it.

Minho runs through the walls and into the glade,And just in time to because then the walls close.

The next thing I know is both Minho and newt collapse onto the ground.

And then I start to walk away towards the deadheads.
