' okay guys so seating is chris and madison, me and julia, and soph and matty boy ' nick smirks at me and matt making me roll my eyes

' mkay ' i shrug as we board the plane

' these are our seats ' nick gives us paper that has our seat numbers on it

' alright bye guys ' i smile as me and matt make our way to our seats

' im so tired ' i groan as i sit down

' me too ' he sits as well

' i brought a blanket ' i shrug

' of course you did ' he smiles

' what u never know ' i laugh

' im just gonna watch a movie on my laptop ' matt says

' im gonna watch with u for a few minutes and then fall asleep ' i smile

' im gonna be bored then ' matt rolls his eyes

' then go to sleep ' i shrug

' i probably will im tired ' he shrugs

* he turns on the movie and i lay my head in his shoulder and fall asleep within a few minutes, i wake up a few hours later to talking *

' dude your so whipped ' chris laughs

' i am not ' matt replies

' dude look at her ' chris laughs once again

' shut up ur gonna wake her up ' matt replied as i feel him put an arm around me

' awww matty boy ' chris continues to laugh

' do u ever shut the fuck up ' matt groans

' just saying ur really whipped i mean i didn't think u meant it when u said u loved her ' chris stops laughing

' dude shut the fuck up! you don't know if she's awake! ' matt exclaims and sighs

' okay okay im going ' chris says before it goes silent, assuming he walked away

after about 20 seconds of silence i finally decide to act like i just woke up

' morning sleepy ' matt smiles down at me

' morning ' i smile back

' we're only 5 minutes til landing ' matt says

' okay, did u ever sleep? ' i smile

' yea a little bit but chris woke me up ' he says

' oh ' i shrug

' mhm but he only woke me up a few minutes ago so it's fine ' matt informs

' that's good, wanna listen to taylor swift? ' i ask pulling my AirPods out of my pocket

' sure ' he smiles

' mkay ' i smile and give him an airpod, then start my playlist of taylor starting with the song all to well by taylor swift

' ive heard this a few times ' matt speaks up

' yea i play this one quite a bit ' i shrug

me and matt hum the song, and then new romantic by taylor swift played and we hummed that as well and then the plane landed and eventually we got off and through bagging

' okay, soph where's ur grandmas house? ' julia asks throwing an arm around my waist

' ill lead u, she rented us a car and apparently it's here along with someone to drive us so ill look for that ' i say throwing an arm around her shoulder as we walk out of the airport

' make us feel left out ' nick yells to us gesturing between him and matt

' come here then ' i laugh as matt comes to the side of me and julia moves her arm to my shoulders sending me a wink making me roll my eyes as matt puts his arm around my waist and mine goes around his as well since i can't really reach my arm around his shoulders

' what about us? ' chris asks from behind us

' cuddle eachother love birds ' i laugh

' okay whatever ' chrs rolls his eyes

' okay guys the car is right there ' i point to a black van almost identical to the triplets

' it reminds me of ours ' matt smiles

' yes me too ' i laugh as we make our way over to the van, chris sitting in passenger then me, madison, and matt all in the back and julia and nick in the very back. nick and julia have grown to be very close since we all started to hang out, mostly because chris and madison are dating, well not officially but still, and because me and matt struggle with the same things and found comfort in each other, and i've also grown to have a little crush, but he doesn't feel the same so i don't bring it up often, or at all.

' im still tired ' i groan and lay my head on matts shoulder

' me too ' matt yawns and lays his head on top of my head

shortly after i ended up falling asleep

' wake up soph we're here ' i hear matt and feel him shake me slightly

' ughhh ' i groan and stretch

' come on ' matt says getting out of the car

' im coming ' i rub my eyes slowly getting out of the car

' grandma mary! ' chris exclaims as he runs and gives her a hug

' chris get the fuck off my grandma ' i say pulling him off her and giving her a hug

' language ' she scolds playfully and hugs me back

' i missed you munchkin ' she smiles squeezing my cheeks

' missed you too ' i laugh

' oh matthew your so big now! ' my grandma exclaims giving him a hug

' i missed you ' he smiles into the hug

' i missed you too sweetheart ' she smiles breaking the hug to squeeze his cheeks as well

' oh nicolas hey sweet boy ' she greets with a smile , i didn't realize i was staring at matt and my grandma in awe until she said something about nick, making me snap out of it.

' hi grandma! ' he smiles and pulls her in for a hug

' you kids should change and head to the beach yea? ' my grandma smiles

' it's only 11am ' i tell her

' i know but you can stay at the beach all day today and we can go do something tomorrow ' my grandma informs

' okay im going to my room, whoever's bunking with me come up in like 5 minutes ' i call out as i walk up the stairs, not caring who i sleep with since there's my room, my moms old room, and a guest room. we used to live here with my grandma since she had a house that led to the beach and those were very hard to find.

i pick out a white bathing suit and decide to re-braid my hair since it was all frizzy now and then i heard my bedroom door open

' im in the bathroom im just braiding my hair ' i call out to whoever just walked in, and then i see matt walk into thr bathroom through the mirror

' oh hey matt ' i smile

' hey ' he smiles back putting his head on my shoulder

' im so tired ' he groans

' well wake up because we're going to the beach ' i smile taking his head off my shoulder and turning to face him

' still tired ' he shrugs smiling down at me as we sit in silence staring into eachothers eyes

' well im gonna go get towels ' i clear my throat with a smile as i walk out of the room, why the hell did that just make me nervous?!!!

' nick ' i call out not knowing what room he's in

' what ' he calls out which from what sounds life my moms room, so i go there and he is in there

' is anyone else in here right now? ' i ask

' i am ' julia calls out from their bathroom

' sit down. ' i tell nick as i sit on the bed, and he quickly sits next to me

' are you okay? what's going on? ' he asks

' do u think u could ever hate me? or like stop being friends with me? ' i ask

' no of course not, what's going on soph? talk to me ' he says

' i think i like your brother ' i say quickly and let out a sigh finally lifting the weight off my shoulders

' no chris ' i reply sarcastically

' oh my goddd!! i knew u liked matt, u bitch! ' he playfully pushes me with a laugh making me laugh as well

' of course not your my bestfriend soph, ill always love you ' he laughs and pulls me in for a hug which i return

' okay i have to get back now, i told matt i was going to grab towels ' i blow nick a kiss before walking out and getting the towels i was supposed to get in the first place

' what took u so long? ' matt asks as i walk into the room

' i was talking to nick ' i shrug

' oh okay ' he responds as i throw a towel at him

' hello?! warning?! ' he rolls his eyes playfully

' the towel was the warning ' i laugh

he walks over to me, picks me up, and throws me on the bed

' that's basically what u did ' he shrugs

' what the fuck not even close ' i laugh as i grab his wrist and pull him down next to me, we both laugh for a little until nick comes in

' come on love birds we're leaving get up ' nick says winking at us before shutting the door and leaving

' fuck you ' i yell as my laughter dies down

' alright get up let's go ' matt says getting up

' help ' i say holding my hands out

' ur helpless ' he jokes while grabbing my hands and pulling me to my feet

' let's go? ' i ask

' let's go ' he smiles as we both walk out of the room and down the stairs

' took u long enough ' chris rolls his eyes

' yea yea whatever turn around and walk ' i laugh then chris does what he was told

' matt look ' i whisper pointing to chris and madisons interlocked hands

' are they official? i mean the hell is going on with them? ' matt asks as we begin to follow behind everyone walking out of the back door and down to the beach

' i dunno ' i shrug

' me and him agreed if we like a girl her and her friends are off limits so i don't know what he's doing ' matt points out

' u like one of madisons friends?! ' i ask

' uh no ' he laughs nervously

' shut up u do! who? ' i punch his arm and laugh

' it doesn't matter ' he shrugs

' it does ' i say as we approach the beach

' no it doesn't, come on ' matt says grabbing my hand and running down to the ocean

' come on guys ' i shout to the others looking back while running into the ocean, hand in hand with matt

' we should've brought the volleyball ' matt says

' im gonna go get it now that u said that because i need it now ' i laugh as i get out of the ocean we were barley in anyways and run back up to where our stuff was

' ur out so soon ' madison gives me a confused look from beside chris

' yea im getting the volleyball ' i smile which makes her smile as well

' okay have fun ' she smiles as i begin to walk away

' no kissing ' nick yells

' fuck yourself ' i flip him off with my back still turned as i continue to walk back down to the ocean where matt is and i see him talking to a random girl so i walk slower so i don't interrupt anything, but i can't help but think why would he be talking to another girl?

' oh sophia ' he shouts a bit since im not very far but not to close and he waves me over

' so this is her? ' the girl gives me a dirty look as i approach her and matt

' yup ' he replies putting an arm around me

' whatever ' she rolls her eyes and walks ( since we can touch in this part of the ocean it's only up to lile our waists )

' what was that about? ' i ask

' she was hitting on me and im not interested and she wouldn't take no for an answer so i told her i had a girlfriend ' he explains taking his arm off of me

' what does that have to do with me? ' i ask

' your my girlfriend ' he shrugs

' next time just walk away ' i laugh

' dude she wouldn't let me she was all in my business like " is it because I'm ugly " like no im just not interested ' matt mocked her in a high pitched voice and a fake ' pout ' or whatever kind of face making me laugh

' it's not even funny it was so awkward ' matt laughs along with me

' your literally laughing ' i throw my hands up still laughing

' whatever ' he pushes my shoulders lightly

' okay im serving first ' i smile as i take a few steps back

' okay but do it lightly your serves fucking hurt so bad ' matt complains

' whatever ' i laugh and roll my eyes then i overhand it to him, he bumps it as i set it and then he bumps it again, and we go back and fourth until i bump it over his head and it goes over his head

' my point ' i smile proudly

' it went over my head?!?! ' he throws his arms up dramatically

' back up?? ' i shrug with a laugh

' yea okay ' he laughs and turns around to get the ball

* we play volleyball for a few and then everyone joins us and we all play for about half an hour before deciding we were hungry so we went to a snack bar *

' okay what do u guys want? ' matt asks us

' i want a pepsi !! ' chris exclaims

' me too! ' madison exclaims as chris gives her a high five

' i want a fruit bowl ' i say as i walk over to julia and out my arm around her waist so i can lay my head on her shoulder comfortably

( do u guys do this with your friends? I do and the boys at my school say it's weird but they literally smack each others asses?!!??! )

' me too and a lemonade ' julia says laying her head on top of mine and putting an arm around my shoulders

' ooh i want lemonade too ' i add to my order

' okay, what about u nick? ' matt asks his older brother who's standing next to me

' uhhh a dr pepper anddd chips i don't really care what kind ' nick says

' okay ill be back ' matt says before walking away to go get us our food/drinks

* skip to when he came back and we were all sitting on our towels in a circle just talking about stuff *

' hey guys an old friend from here texted me when she found out i was here and she's throwing a party tonight, wanna go? ' i ask

' sure ' julia and madison shrug

' why not ' nick smiles at me, and i return it

' we don't have anything to wear , or atleast i dont i didn't pack for a party ' chris speaks up

' then we can go buy some things? plus more than likely my grandma will just INSIST on letting us use her credit card ' i shrug

' okay fuck it then let's go ' chris dabs me up

' alright we're going then ' matt shrugs

' i just gotta find out the details and it's only 1pm so we have a few hours ' i smiles at everyone, and everyone returning it .
