One is Bad Enough

01:01, 13 September 2013

My clone was gasping for air and there was nothing I could do to help her. With one last breath she collapsed and fell silent. I settled her down on the ground and covered her with my jacket.

"I'm sorry but I can't hold him any longer." The White Queen said before flickering off.

We turned around as a set of doors opened. The absence of light behind the door made it hard to see anything so I was stuck with trying to listen for movement. With a rush of movement the abomination that was Dr.Isaac came rushing towards us. I shot a couple of bullets into his torso but it did nothing to stop him. I dodge out of the way and he crashed into a desk behind me. Alice tried to kick him in the back of the head but it did not faze him.

"You have got to be kidding me." I muttered as he sent his weird tendrils at me. I whipped out my sword and hacked them to pieces. Alice shot him with her shotgun and he turned around angrily and backhanded her across the room. She landed with a loud smack against the wall and I winced.

I started running away, trying to lead him away from Alice. I ran through a bunch of doors when I was suddenly started to notice very familiar places.

I ran into a corridor that was the exact replica of the one in the hive. I could see the door that lead to Red's chamber, I was slowly backing towards it when Dr. Isaac appeared in the doorway. I readied my sword in front of me and took and offensive stance when I noticed a beam of light coming from behind me. I closed my eyes waiting for the searing pain that was sure to come but when nothing happened I opened my eyes to peek. Before me was a massive pile of dead human meat which prompted me to nearly barf.

I heard a loud click and the P.A system went on," Are you alright." A voice asked me.

"I'm okay." I said feeling slightly queasy.

I managed to escape the corridor and rushed out of the place like the devil was on my heels. I bumped into Alice on the way and she stopped me from falling over.

"Are you okay? What happened to Isaac?"

"I'm fine and he's resting in pieces." I said shivering.

She sighed in relief and hugged me.

We ran back to the main room and found my clone looking alive and well, a laptop resting in her lap.

"This is so weird." I thought.

"Thanks for the help." I said.

"It was my pleasure." My clone replied smirking at me.
