JAY-JAY POV

I woke up to Keifer gently shaking me, his voice soft but steady.

"Jay, wake up. We're here," he said.

"Just 5 more minutes" I said

"But wifey we're already here" He said

I groaned, burying my face into the pillow. "You didn't let me sleep at all," I muttered, half‑teasing, half‑serious.

Keifer chuckled, brushing a strand of hair from my face. "That's not my fault. You kept moaning my name and your "don't stop Keif" He said

My cheeks burned, and I swung at him in mock annoyance — but bad mistake.

I shook my head quickly, embarrassed. "It's your fault."

His brows furrowed. "What did I do?"

I crossed my arms, giving him a pointed look. "What didn't you do? My legs hurt because of you."

For a moment, he just stared at me, then his lips curved into that crooked grin. "So you're blaming me for everything now?"

"Yes," I said firmly, though my cheeks burned.

He leaned closer, his voice dropping into that teasing tone. "Then I guess I'll have to carry you everywhere, wifey. Can't have you hurting because of me."

I rolled my eyes, but my heart fluttered anyway. "You're impossible."

He chuckled, brushing his thumb over my hand. "And you're mine. So I'll take care of you, even if it means carrying you all the way to the island."

"Let's go, we're here," Keifer said, his voice carrying that mix of excitement and certainty that always made me smile.

"Fine" I muttered

I got up and wrapped the blanket around my body, the fabric trailing behind me like a cape. The morning air was cool, brushing against my skin, but the warmth of Keifer's gaze followed me everywhere.

He smirked, leaning casually against the doorframe. "Why are you covering yourself? I already saw twice, actually."

My jaw dropped. "You're unbelievable."

He chuckled, stepping closer, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "And you're adorable when you're embarrassed."

I turned away, trying to hide the blush spreading across my face. "You're impossible."

His arms slipped around my waist, pulling me back against him. "Maybe. But I'm yours, and you're mine. So stop hiding from me, wifey."

I sighed, shaking my head, but couldn't stop the smile tugging at my lips. "You're lucky I love you."

He kissed the top of my head, his voice soft now. "Luck has nothing to do with it. It's fate."

Without giving me a warning, Keifer scooped me up in bridal style.

"Keifer, let me go!" I yelled, wriggling in his arms.

"Nope," he said, his grin smug and unshakable.

He carried me outside of the boat, his steps steady even as the sand shifted beneath us. Luckily, there was nobody on the island to witness my flailing — no Section E chaos, no teasing voices, just the two of us.

The air was warm, the scent of salt and flowers drifting together, the sound of waves crashing softly against the shore. Palm trees swayed lazily, and the golden sand stretched endlessly, untouched and perfect.

I sighed, finally giving up, resting my head against his chest. "You're ridiculous."

He chuckled, tightening his hold. "And you're mine."

He finally let me go once we were inside the house, setting me down gently. The blanket was still loosely wrapped around me, slipping off my shoulder as I tried to adjust it.

Keifer's eyes lingered, his crooked smile tugging at his lips. "You look like a queen in that blanket," he teased.

I rolled my eyes, clutching it tighter. "More like a mess. Thanks to you."

He stepped closer, brushing his hand over my arm, steady and warm. "Mess or not, you're mine."

I sighed, cheeks heating, but couldn't stop the smile spreading across my face. "You're impossible."

He laughed softly, pulling me into his arms. "And you love me anyway."

The house was quiet, the flicker of candlelight bouncing off the walls, petals scattered across the floor from the maid's careful touch. Outside, the waves whispered against the shore, but inside, it was just us — wrapped in warmth, laughter, and the promise of forever.

"When did you do all of this?" I asked, my eyes sweeping over the petals, the candles, the quiet perfection of the house.

"Two days before our wedding," he said, his voice calm, certain, like it was the most natural thing in the world.

I blinked, stunned. "You planned all this... while everything else was happening?"

He shrugged, that crooked smile tugging at his lips. "I wanted it ready. I wanted you to walk in and feel like this was ours. Not just a place, but a memory."

My heart clenched, warmth flooding through me. I tightened the blanket around myself, not out of shyness anymore, but to hold onto the moment. "Keifer... you're unbelievable."

He stepped closer, brushing his fingers against mine. "No. I'm just a man who loves his wife enough to make sure she never forgets her first day here."

I laughed softly, shaking my head, but my chest ached with happiness. "You're going to spoil me."

His eyes gleamed, his voice dropping to a whisper. "That's the plan."

"You know I'm still angry you let our honeymoon place get decided without me," I said, pouting as I tightened the blanket around myself.

Keifer tilted his head, that crooked smile tugging at his lips. "Wife, we're just going to spend one week here. There are still three weeks left of our honeymoon."

I raised a brow, unimpressed. "And?"

He stepped closer, brushing his thumb over my cheek. "And we'll decide together where to go each week. You'll get to choose, I promise."

I sighed, trying to hold onto my pout, but his eyes were too earnest, too warm. "You're saying that just to make me stop being mad."

He chuckled, leaning down until his forehead touched mine. "Maybe. But it's true. I wanted to surprise you with this place. The rest... we'll plan together."

My lips curved despite myself. "Fine. But I'm picking somewhere loud and chaotic next, just to annoy you."

He laughed, pulling me into his arms. "Then I'll follow you anywhere. Even into chaos."

He kissed me softly, but it deepened so quickly I lost track of everything else. One moment we were standing, the next I didn't even realize we were back on the bed, the blanket slipping away between us.

I froze for a second, clutching at the sheets, but Keifer's eyes held mine — steady, certain, full of love. There was no teasing now, no smug grin. Just him, looking at me like I was the only thing that mattered.

"Jay," he whispered, his voice rough with emotion.

My heart thudded, the sound of the waves outside fading into silence. I reached for his hand, threading my fingers through his. "I trust you," I said softly.

His grip tightened, his forehead resting against mine. "Always," he promised.

The blanket lay forgotten, but it didn't matter. What mattered was the warmth of his arms, the way he held me like I was something precious, and the quiet certainty that this was more than passion — it was forever.
