Class Wars 1

This takes place a week after the previous chapter.

Teitan High school, 8:30 am..

"Alright everyone, are you all ready for the trip?" Kobayashi sensei asks. "Yeah!" A loud cheer corrupts. "I'm taking attendance, when I call out your name just say here." She calls to her classroom.

Haibara yawned and just stood in line like everyone else. They were going on a school trip for a week. It was supposed to make the students feel less worked up about the upcoming exams, so they were taking them to have fun. Each class was lined up and their teacher was infront also taking attendance.

"Haibara Ai." No response. "Haibara Ai.""Oi Haibara, answer her." Conan shakes her out of her thoughts. "Oh here." Haibara says in her usual mood. "What's occupying your mind?" Conan asks her. "Nothing I just zoned out." She answers.

He brushes it off as nothing and pays attention to the teacher. "Alright, now that I've made sure everyone is here, we will be sharing a bus with another class, so that each bus has 2 classrooms." Kobayashi sensei announces and calls for the other classroom.

They all watched as students with their teacher approached them. "They're class 11 A so class 11 B, welcome them with kindness." Kobayashi sensei smiles. 'the popular kids class.' Conan thought as he rolled his eyes. "What? Oh alright, class I have something to check I'll be back in a few mins, don't go anywhere." She says giving them a death stare.

After the teachers went, some guys from class 11 A approached them. "Look who it is, the famous Edogawa Conan, the detective." One of the guys said smirking. Conan turned around and looked at the guys with a fake smile. 'the spoiled kids are already showing.' Conan thought as he mentally rolled his eyes.

Haibara on the other hand, physically rolled her eyes and turned the other way bored. "Who's the chick?" One of the guys asked and Conan followed his eyes, landing on Haibara. His eye twitched and let out a frustrated sigh. "Don't be shy, tell us your name." The guy that seems to be the leader says. Haibara turned towards them. "Not interested." The guys whistled. "Playing hard to get I see, no one has ever denied my charms." The guy approached her and Conan was about to step in, when the two teachers came back.

"Sorry for making you wait, now first class 11 A, you'll get inside the bus then class 11 B follows. "See you later, feisty." The guy says as he leaves with his minions following him. Haibara cringed at the nickname and turned to look at Conan. "Fix your face, you look like you're ready to murder." She says whispering to him. "If Ayumi and Mitsuhiko weren't here, I would shove him off and show him you're taken." He says clenching his jaw.

"Awe what a kind boyfriend I have." She sarcastically whispered then walked with the class to get in the bus after the other class went in.

Shinya street, 9:27 am..

They were almost near their destination, Haibara was sitting on the window side and Conan was next to her, infront of them were Mitsuhiko and Ayumi, and Genta all the way infront.

Their were some girls giggling and walking closer to Conan and Haibara's seats. "Uhm.. Edogawa-kun, c-can we have your.. autograph." A girl said blush all over her face, Conan turned and looked at the girls near him. Haibara just rolled her eyes and looked out the window, she was getting kind of used to this, everytime they go out, someone would spot him and do the same, it didn't bother her that much until now, the girls were all batting their eyelashes at him and trying to look pretty.

"Uh..sure-" "Don't make his ego bigger than it is, Kyoka." A guy shouted from behind, Conan turned around to check who it was, it was the same guy from earlier. The girl just rolled her eyes and Conan sighed. "Don't listen to him, he wants to be the center of attention all the time." One of the girls from behind said. Conan just took the notebook from the girl and signed his autograph.

"Here you go." He says and hands it to her, their hands brushing for a second. The group of girls then quickly went and he her heard the girl say "he touched my hand!!" Haibara rolled her eyes for the millionth time, Conan just yawned and closed his eyes, took a book and placed it on his head to fall asleep.

They finally arrived after 15 mins to a camp called 'Jodi Camp'. It wasn't a dirty old one, it was actually big and seemed rich. All the busses then arrived after them.

They all got out one by one and stood in lines. "Okay lodge 1, 2, 3 and 4 for the boys and lodge 5, 6, 7 and 8 for the girls. Go to the reception of each lodge and find out which room you're in, then unpack if you want to or rest, then meet here at the campfire at 10:30." Announced the organizer. "As for the teachers of each homeroom, you'll be in lodge 9 and 10, obviously one for woman and one for men. Then stand by your class at 10:30." Everyone nodded and the girls and boys started to separate. "Take care of yourself." Conan told Haibara. "I'm not 9 years old, baka." She said giving him a sarcastic look.

They then said their goodbyes as they walked to each lodge to find out which one they're in. Haibara checked 3 lodges and she was tired since none of them were hers. 'this better be it.' she said staring at the 4th lodge and walked in.

She sighed as she sat on her bed. She was in room number 801 with two other girls. Seems like they were in the same class since they were chatting non-stop. Haibara didn't really unpack, after all she didn't want to put her clothes in a closet shared with people. She just settled the important stuff on her bedside table and a small table which had multiple drawers in it.

Meanwhile, Conan was in lodge 2, room 202 with two other guys, he went in the room and was met by the same guy who hit on Haibara earlier and one of his minions. "Oh lucky me, sharing a room with the famous detective." The guy snickered as Conan went in and settled on his bed, he started unpacking a few things only, he didn't really bring that much stuff.

"Why so quiet? We'll be living together for a week you should loosen up." The guy said in a smug tone. "Oh yeah I suppose you're right." Conan said faking a smile. He was dreading this moment, how was he supposed to handle this guy for a week??

Jodi Camp, 10:31 am..

The classes were lined up near the bonfire, the organizer came and checked all the classes. "Okay, the plan for today, activities, food, action, adventure, and fun, and every single one is participating." She says and hands papers to the teachers. "We will start right now with the first activity, hunting for treasure, I have scattered numerous money, yes real money, around the camp, find them and put them inside these jars, each jar for each class, the jar that has the most cash, wins all the cash." Everyone was excited now, except for a certain two but they didn't mind it, I guess it is better than school itself.

"You only have 10 mins to find all the cash, we're starting in 3, 2....1!" Everyone hurriedly ran and started looking. Haibara saw Kobayashi sensei glaring at her so she hurriedly ran away. Even Haibara gets shivers from her stares.

It's been 5 mins and the jars were almost full, most of Class A's jar was filled by Ayumi, Genta and Mitsuhiko, they love these kind of activities so the rest of the class found this as an opportunity to win.

Haibara was looking in the woods and found 5 yen, suddenly she felt someone grab her arms and pin her on a tree slowly. She tried to resist until she saw their face, it was Conan and he quickly dipped his head and kissed her on the cheek.

"I missed you." He says holding her waist. "Would've said the same if you didn't almost give me a heart attack." She said sarcastically. "My bad I guess, let me make it up to you." He says before kissing her lips slowly, she grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him deeper. He brought one hand to her chin and lowered it, opening her mouth, he slid his tongue in and played with hers as he kissed her passionately.

Haibara realized what they were doing and pulled apart. "Idiot! Someone could see us." She hissed. "So? I hope that stuck up guy sees so he knows you're off limits." He said scoffing at the thought of him. "Let's just go, I think 10 mins will be up soon." She said and walked away, a few secs later, he followed her so it doesn't seem they were together, he found 10 yen and smiled as he took it.

He reached the jar and put it in when the leader yelled. "Time's up, everyone gather here to see who's the winning class, if someone still has cash on them, quickly put it in the jars." A few mins later, she started weighing each jar.

"There has been a close call between two classes, but there can only be one winner, and that class is..." Everyone eagerly waited for her answer. "Class 11..B!" She yelled and cheers could be heard as well as groans. "Yay! We won, we get the cash!" Ayumi says cheering.

"Well done, class B, next time we won't be so sweet." The guy from earlier says. Conan rolled his eyes again as the teacher called for the classes. "Everyone! Stand in a line so that I can announce the next game." She says and everyone stands in silence.
