Sophia’s POV

“What do you think?” I asked them all after I explained my plan fully.

"Let's do this!" Lauren shouted loudly.

"They'll love it," Molly agreed.

“It’ll be a great way to say goodbye,” Beth smiled.

“Okay, so, we’re all on agreement that we are doing it?” I checked.

“Wait, wait!” Beth shouted, before anyone could answer me.

“What?” I asked her, frowning.

“I’ve always wanted to do this,” She grinned, before coughing dramatically.

“Everyone for Sophia’s plan, say ‘I’,” Beth said in a barrister’s voice.

“I” We all said laughing at Beth.

“It seems the ‘I’s have it,” Beth announced, “The plan will go ahead.”

“Perfect,” Molly grinned, as the rest of us couldn’t speak as we were laughing too much. We all tried to breath normally and calm down a bit, so we could organise ourselves and get this show on the road.

"Okay, so I'll do food," Mel finally began to organise us all, "Sophia get the duvets from each of our rooms, and the pillows. Molly, Beth and Lauren, you move the furniture in the lounge and pick a DVD to watch."

"Then we'll all text the boys the cover story," I added on the end of Mel's small speech.

"Okay, I'm down with that," Lauren smiled.

“I’m not,” Beth cut in.

“What’s wrong now?” I asked.

“The plan doesn’t have a name,” She said and we all gave her quizzical looks.

“What on Earth are you on about?” Molly asked.

“Well, all good plans must have a name… we shall call this plan… The Goodbye Plan,” Beth said.

“Very imaginative,” I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm.

“I know,” She grinned, taking me seriously.

“Does she not know sarcasm?" I whispered the Lauren, who burst out laughing. It wasn’t that funny. Lauren was laughing so much that she did one of her infamous snorts. This just cracked us all up.

"Let's do this mother hulker!" Beth shouted; making us stop laughing and split up. Mel into the kitchen, Molly, Lauren and Beth into the lounge and me upstairs.

I went through each room grabbing any duvets, pillows and blankets I saw, throwing them into the hallway. Once I'd gone through everyone's rooms and all the things were in the hallway, I got on my hands and knees, placing my head against the duvets and arms on either side of the load; then I crawled forward, pushing the duvets along in front of me. They began to topple and I realised I was at the stairs.

I stood up and brushed myself off. I skipped down the stairs, kicking stray items down as I went. When I reached the bottom I was stuck with the dilemma of how to move the bedding into the lounge. I glared at the huge mountain on the floor for a while.

"Need some help?" Someone asked, laughing lightly.

"Please," I smiled back at Molly.  She opened her arms wide and bent down, scooping a bundle of the bedding up and then waddled into the lounge. I followed her lead and carried the other half of the mountain into the lounge as well. I dumped them on the floor in the middle of the room. The sofas had been pushed to the side, right back against the walls.

"Blankets on the floor first?" Lauren asked.

"Sounds good," Beth agreed and we threw everything that wasn't a blanket on the nearest sofa.

"I've never actually laid a bed before," I commented, holding up a blanket; trying to straighten it out and put it on the floor. Yeah, that wasn't working for me. It just kept ending up creased on the floor. I twisted and turned the blanket different ways, before swishing it in the air and dropping it on the floor; like they sometimes do in films or televisions programmes.

Molly, Lauren and Beth stood back, admiring my handy-work. Not. They stood back, watching and laughing at me. I decided to try a different approach.

I moved back and stretched out the blanket in my hands. Then I opened my legs, and spread my arms wide, standing star-fish style. Then I flopped on to the floor. I groaned on impact. That hurt more than expected. The girls were howling with laughter, and I could hear the odd snort from Lauren. I was now spread on the floor, lying star-fish style, pinning the blanket to the floor. Despite the minimal pain I experienced with the fall, this could work.

But how to get up?

I carefully wriggled backwards and jumped to my feet; to find the blanket in a creased lump on the floor. "Stupid blanket," I glared at it.

"As much as this,” Beth gestured to me and the blanket, “Is amusing me, we don’t have that long and we need to get this sorted before the boys go to sleep.”

“Yes ma’am,” I saluted her and picked the blanket up; before it was rudely yanked from my arms.

“Perhaps I should do that, you go pick a DVD,” Molly smiled.

“Fine, I can see my help is not wanted,” I huffed and walked over to the bookcase. At least I get to pick the DVD, this is going to be awesome; I have the best one in mind.

“No plane horror films!” Lauren shouted after me.

“You guys are no fun,” I groaned. The totally ruined my idea.

I smiled having another idea.

“No paranormal scary films please!” Beth shouted.

“You guys are seriously boring,” I groaned again; as they ruined another of my brilliant ideas.

Good job I had a third idea, isn’t it?

“No jumpy films please!” Mel added from the kitchen.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t realise I was friends with a bunch of pussy’s,” I said, rounding on them.

“I just don’t want to get scared,” Lauren muttered.

“You guys are so boring! Horror films are the best! It’s not like they’re real is it?” I said loudly, trying to get my point across.

“But they’re scary,” Beth mumbled.

“Bunch of pussy’s,” I sighed.

“Hey!” Molly shouted.

“Apart from Molly,” I smiled at her.

Molly was a horror film lover as well as me; we used to have ‘Horror Film Saturday Slumber Parties’ all the time, but we haven’t had one lately

Mental Note: Whilst the boys are away, have a Horror Film Saturday Slumber Party with Molly.

‘Final Destination’ Molly mouthed to me and I grinned. I know just the one to watch. I pulled the DVD off the shelf and grinned. Sorted. This is going to be so fun.

“The bed is done,” Lauren announced.

“DVD’s chosen,” I announced too.

“Food ready,” Mel walked in carrying a tray with bowls of sweets, chocolate and popcorn on, “There’s pizza in the oven, warming up fro when they get here.”

“Now to text,” Molly said and we all whipped out our phones.

To Nialler<3; you left some stuff here didnt know if youd want it? blue & white supras & red snap back? x

I knew he’d come if he found out his favourite white and blue supras were here and his favourite red snap back.

Niall’s POV

I had just finished packing when I received a text from Sophia.

From Soph; you left some stuff here didnt know if youd want it? blue & white supras & red snap back? x

“Ah sh*t,” I cursed myself for leaving some of my favourite things at Sophia’s.

Not that I didn’t trust her with them; of course I did. But, Liam’s going to kill me because he’s already fussing about us being ready on time; we have eight hours. It’s stupid. Now he’s going to be moaning for me to hurry up.

I shut the bag I’d just finished packing and put it on the floor with the rest. No wonder the bag with my supras was a little emptier than usual. Yes, I have a bag just for my supras. They are important to me.

I left my apartment and went into Liam’s. “Liam,” I shouted and he walked out, looking at his phone, his eyebrows furrowed.

“Niall?” He looked up at me.

“What’s up mate?” I asked.

“I left a couple of my things at the girls house, Molly just text me; I’m going to have to go get them,” He said.

“Oh, thank God,” I muttered; instantly relaxing that I wasn’t the only one that left something.

“What?” He asked me.

“I left some things there too,” I explained.

“Oh, let’s ask the others, then we’ll see who needs to go,” Liam said and I nodded in agreement. Not that I needed to he was already out the door and knocking on Zayn’s door.

“Liam, me and Harry are going to drive down to the girls house quickly; we’ve left some clothes there that we need,” Louis announced as Zayn opened the door.

“Great, you can take me as well then,” Zayn said.

I looked at Liam and laughed. “Looks like we’re all going,” I announced.

“What?” Harry frowned.

“I left my snap back and supras there,” I said.

“I’ve left a couple of my shirts and trousers there,” Liam said.

“Some of my favourite suspenders, and my striped shirt,” Louis explained.

“One of my snap backs, shoes and some hair stuff,” Zayn said, reading the text from his phone, that I assume Mel sent him.

“The panda hat Lauren bought me, and some other clothes,” Harry said lastly and we all gave him a weird look.

“It’s going to be, like, over thirty degrees, why would you need a knitted hat?” Liam asked.

“I won’t, but I told Lauren I’d take it,” He laughed.

“Oh.” We nodded, makes sense.

“So, are we going?” Louis asked, twirling his car keys around his finger.

“Has everyone finished packing?” Liam asked. There were various answers, but all indicated the same thing- we had all finished packing.

“Leggo,” I announced and everyone laughed as we climbed into the car. We sang along to the radio as we drove to the girls’ house. Liam said he’d text Molly that we were on our way; so they knew. We also decided it would be a good time to say goodbye. When we arrived we hopped out the car and knocked on the door, waiting for them to open it.

No one opened it but we heard them shout “It’s open!” so we let ourselves in.

“Molly?” Liam shouted as we walked into the corridor, where no one was.

“We’re in the lounge,” Beth hollered.

We all walked in to see they’d set up duvets and pillows in the middle of the room, and food scattered around in various bowls. I also saw our things in a pile in the corner. “Surprise!” They shouted.

I couldn’t help but notice, Sophia wasn’t here.

“What’s going on?” Louis asked.

“We’re having a slumber party,” Lauren said as if it were obvious. And I have to say… it was very obvious what they were doing.

“Oh,” Louis shrugged.

“Are those our things?” Zayn asked; pointing to the pile in the corner.

“Yup,” Mel smiled.

“Hello,” A voice whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine and a smile to appear on my face.

“Sophia,” I smiled.

“Well, sit down then,” She laughed and dragged me to the make-shift bed.

“Huh?” The others frowned as their girlfriends pulled them down.

“I told you, we’re having a slumber party,” Lauren said, emphasising the ‘we’re’.

“But we have a plane to catch,” Liam said, trying to stand up; but Molly just pulled him back down.

“We’ve cleared it with Paul. He’s picking you up from here at one o’clock, so you can catch the flight in time, and he’s picking up your luggage from your apartments,” Molly explained.
