Chapter 16

Damon's POV

I grabbed the bottle of bourbon and drank the last drip. I sighed feeling drunk yet wanting more. I looked over at Lexi seeing that she's passed out. I lean over to her and moved a piece of her brown hair behind her ear. She looked so peaceful and fragile. I chuckled remember meeting her for the first time, fiesty, mean, angry, powerful. She's so different when she's asleep then again I slept with her... I laughed a little remembering that night, with her humanity off and crazy times in my bed.

"hmm....." She said as she moved a little. I cocked my head to the side and decided to take a look in her dream.

IN LEXI"S DREAM

I peeked into her dream, she was running down a hill in a blue peasant dress. She spinned around in the hills full of horses. She looked so young and innocent.. was this her when she was human?

"Lexianna!" I heard a voice. I saw Lexi turn around and a shadow on the top of the hill appeared. I couldn't see who it was.

"Silas!" She ran and hugged the man. I froze, though I couldn't see the guy I felt as if the name was just like the guy were looking for.

"I missed you." He smiled at her.

"And I too you." She said she grabbed his hand and walked down the hill. "Now why must I leave?" She asked.

"It's dangerous on this island, savages come and go as they please. And you must get back to your grandfather Mikael, correct?"

She nodded. "Yes, but he wants me to get a girl and take her blood. I have not created a murder before. I'm afraid..." She looks at him.

"Don't be. I'll be here." he said. "We'll be together once again, Lexianna." he said.

She smiled. "Lexianna, who are you talking to?" Mikael appeared.

Lexianna turned to him. "No one grandfather." She smiled at him.

Suddenly the dreamed blurred away, and I pulled away soon realizing that I'm pinned to the wall. Lexi is growling at me. "...You know Silas?" I looked at her confused and shocked.

She growls at me pushing on my shoulder, making it shatter slowly. I grinded my teeth together to not scream in pain. "You shouldn't be snooping into people's dreams." She smirked at me.

I pushed her off. "Well I wanted to know why you were all smiling so I took a look and found out that you are friends with Silas... well more than friends..." I said kinda of disturbed. "How come I couldn't see him. How does he look like?" Damon asked.

Lexi laughed. "Damon, it was a dream. Plus if I knew Silas I would never tell you how he looked like."

"That's why I'm going to tell you something. Something that is going to make you spill everything you know about the god dam cure."

"I don't know anything about the cure besides you and Jeremy killing vampires for it!" She says getting irratated.

I walked around her and whispered in her ear as she folds her arm. "I know you do know..." Then I walked around her facing her. "Jeremy is one of the five... five vampire hunters. Which every vampire you kill you grow a mark. A mark that leads you to the cure and we are almost done with the map. That cure is leading us to the ocean.. and peraphs an island."I smirked at her. She glares at me then rolls her eyes.

"Where are you getting at? I know nothing about some island." She said.

"Wrong. In your dream silas... mentioned an island. Oh, did I also mentioned that Silas is the one with the cure. Plus you're father is very scared of Silas... and if you find out that not only are you dating one of the five vampire hunter but you also dated Silas. Now that wont be very fun." I smirked at her.

Her arms unfolded and glared at me with a growl. "You wouldn't tell Kol..."

"Oh but I would. I mean unless you want to tell me all you know about Silas and the cure?" I smirked.

"I don't know anything about the god dam cure or Silas, it was a dream. Dreams are fantasy of your concious damon!" She said irratated.

I shrug then walked past her. "Guess I'll tell Kol." I smirked as I walked away. "Hmm... wonder if he'll just hate you. And Jeremy, oh... everybody in Mystic Falls. You'll be alone forever. No father, no boyfriend, no family... so much for human family--"

She growled. "Wait." She said.

I turned around with a smile on my face. "Yes?"

She looked at me then blurred to me. "Go ahead and tell them Damon, I've been alone before and it doesn't hurt." She plunges her hand in my chest. I felt her hand near my heart. "Now, we had such a great time tonight.. but I think you just ruined it." She pulled out her hand and smiled at me as I fell to the floor. She walked away. "By the way I'm not like Rebekah." She said.

" Urg.." I held tightly to my wounded chest.

Next Day.

"Stupid Lexi. Stupid Silas. Stupid Cure." I threw the bandages in the trash.

"Stupid Lexi?" Elena walked into my room. I looked at her as I took the towl and threw it in the trash.

"Yes Stupid Lexi, Silas, and the cure." I said.

She looked at the blood in the bathroom. "Did you just feed--"

"No, I'm not that messy.." I turned around and put on a clean new shirt. "My heart almost got plunged out by the crazy hybrid."

"klaus?!" Elena says in surprise.

 "No." I said looking at her. "the other crazy hybrid Lexi." I said.

" What? Why would she want to--" Elena began to say.

"Because I snook into her dream and found out that she and Silas was thing. She lied to me saying she didn't know anything about the cure and I threatened her and basically almost ended up dead." I said.

Elena shook her head but froze. "What? Silas and lexi? But isn't Silas suppose to be 2000 years old or something?" She asked.

"Yep, but in the dream he didn't vampire speed run he just dissappeared like a ghost." I said grabbing my cup then bourbon bottle. "And I found out about where the mark is leading to. It's leading to an island."

"So was she dating a ghost of silas?" Elena asked.

"I don't know. She wont spill anything about the cure or Silas. She's hiding more things from us than we know. All we know her name might not even be Lexi." I said drinking my bourbon.

"Because her name is Lexianna." Elena stated.

"There you go. She lied."

"She told us."

"Okay but you get where I'm coming from." I said shrugging.

"So do you think we should ask her."

"Um no. Last time I did I almost got my heart tossed across the room." I smirked then taking a sip of my drink.

"I think we should confront her." Stefan walks into the room.

"Okay, my room isn't a walk in room, that's why we have the livingroom downstairs." I stated. "And no to that didn't you hear my last comment?"

"Look, I understand she tried to kill you last time but you threaten her Damon. Maybe since Elena and I are there this time she wont try to kill you as much as I want to." Stefan smiled.

I rolled my eyes. "Why do I have to go? Bad guy already went, good guys next." I said taking a sip to my drink.

"Because you met her back in the 20's and have feelings towards her that you want to find out more about her past." Stefan smiled.

I gave him a look . "That's information brother is incorrect. I met her in 1924 and I have no feelings with her whatso ever."

"All right, so you have no feelings for her but you are still going with us because it's either talk to Kol with helping bonnie to get him to raise silas or talk to Lexi about silas and the cure." Stefan said.

"Either way my heart is going to get tossed across the room." I shrugged. "Count me out."

"Damon, please." Elena asked. "Lexi is only to give the information out to us if you are there. She trusts you. She practically fell for you in 1924 right?"

"I don't think you trust someone after they went into your dreams and threaten you afterwards."I said.

She sighs. "Damon..."

I groan. "All right but I'm not going to die today." I said. "Still need a taste of bourbon." I smiled before taking the last sip.

At Lexi's House

We arrived at her blue house not far from Elena's. Elena knocked on the door. 

I gave her a look. "Why are you knocking?" I asked.

"It's polite to knock on the door--" I moved past her and opened the door walking in. "And not just to be rude and walk right in." Elena said as she followed me after Stefan.

I looked around. "Looks exactly like Lexi, old,crazy, and Lexi."

"What? No knocking Damon?" Lexi came down the stairs.

"Not like you knock on my door."

"I actually did." She smirks. "Now, I see Elena and Stefan are here. They must want my company. Would you two like to sit down and need anything?" She asked.

"We're fine." Elena said then went to the couch with stefan and sat down.

"I would like something." I said.

She smiled at me. "I didn't offer you anything." She walked past me and went into the livingroom with Elena and Stefan. "So what brings you two here?"

"It's about the cure and Silas. " Stefan said.

"And adding Damon is sorry." Elena said.

"No I'm not." I said. ELena glared at me. I rolled my eyes. "Sure fine."

Lexi rolled her eyes at me as I looked at her then she turned her attention to Stefan and Elena. "I don't know anything about the cure or Silas."

"You're lying." I said.

She looks at me. "I don't know."

"Lexi, I'm pretty sure that Damon filled you in about the cure and search. I heard you in the grill with Damon.. you want to find the cure and make the mikaelsons take it to have a human family. as well as you. Now if you want to find the cure it starts with what you know." Stefan said.

" I don't know anything besides Jeremy and the map and what Damon told me." Lexi said.

"Why won't you tell us?" I asked.

"Lexi, you know the only chances in finding the cure is small but with your help we can... just tell us anything you know." Elena said. "And I know Jeremy want you to have the cure.. become human with him, get married, have a family..." Elena began to say. 

"But you can't have that until you help us." Stefan said finishing up.

Lexi looked at us all then took a deep breath. "..Silas.. Silas was a friend.  When I was human before I was made an original, Mikael and I went to this island where to do the ritual. In a small village, I was told to live my life as a human before it was over. So I did, I wonder off into mountains until I fell into this hole, it was a cave. I met him there..--"

"Silas." I said.

She looked at me then nodded as she continued. "He told me that I didn't have to become a vampire to find my father. Because my father was dead. I believed him when he told me that Kol was dead. But he told me that I can bring him back alive, bring him back to being human again. I didn't know that my father was a original vampire I just thought that he was dead buried under the ground somewhere." Lexi said.

"let me guess he wanted you to kill somebody." I said.

"No. Why would you think that?" Lexi asked.

"Because a deal always end up with someone dead and then guilt and blah blah, so what happened?" I asked.

"He wanted me to die in the cave. He said something about if I die, I would meet Kol. I would be happy. Until Mikael found me in the cave covered in blood head to toe, from when I fell. Mikael healed me and I did my ritual of an original vampire. And ever since then I never saw Silas again until the dream I had." She looked at me. "I don't know why he came into my memories after 1000's of years." She said.

I looked at her. "And that island."

"I never knew the name of the island, I just remember the structure." Lexi said.

I smiled. "Guess, we'll be going on a little road trip." I smiled at Lexi.

Elena and Stefan looked at me in confusion and disagreeing but Lexi had a smile on her face.

"Finding the cure?" Lexi asked.

"Finding the cure." I nodded.
