3RD POV

[]NRC - MIRROR CHAMBER[]

Who would expect this turn of an event?....

No one...

The students who heard Crowley's statement, were looking at him and the floating fae.

The fae was crossing his arms as he stared down at Crowley, emitting this disappointing aura.

"Uhm... H-how have you been?..." The Headmage asked hesitantly, trying to ease up his nerves.

He was absolutely intimidated, it's been awhile since he had seen this expression from his teacher.

"Don't try to talk your way out of here, Dire." The fae sternly stated, watching his old student flinch and playing with his thumbs.

"Not only you've let a monster run havoc, you've let your student clean your mess..." He began scolding the Headmage, as every single one watches.

"Well this is getting quite hilarious..." The lion beastman smirked, watching Crowley get into trouble.

"Is it fine to just watch?" The albino boy asked, turning his head to the other housewardens.

"I think it's time for someone to put that man into his place.... He's been getting away just because he's the Headmage...." The blond with purple tipped hair, stated, as he began to move.

"And besides, we still need to gather our dorm mates. They're all scattered." He added, making his way to look for his vice.

"Agreed." The red haired male nodded, as he also did the same.

Followed by the boy with glasses, who told the floating tablet to do the same.

But the boy behind the screen just shook it off, as he was recording Crowley getting scolded.

Going back, the fae continued chewing out Crowley.

"And let's also add the fact that you didn't figure out that this human," gesturing Yuu, "is magicless. Have I not taught you how to detect someone who has magic and who doesn't?"

"W-w-well-"

"And not only that, you left your students unintended midway of your orientation. You could've asked or requested other staff to look for the child." He added.

"That's b-because-"

"Can I also add that there's supposed to be seven leaders? Why's there only six? Don't tell me you've forgotten your own students...."

"O-oh.... Well.... P-probably no one reminded housewarden Draconia..."

"Isn't it also your job to remind every student about an important event?"

"U-uhmmm... It's.... Well..."

Before he could find his words, his teacher raised a hand to shut him up.

"That's enough, Dire.... Not only you've forgotten a student. You've also not recognized I've been here the whole time, until I made my presence known."

If not obvious, Crowley was shrinking. Not literally, but still...

The diurnal fae just put his two fingers between his nose bridge, as he sighed deeply.

He then looked around his surroundings, and it was a mess.

Some chairs are burnt and broken, probably because the students were panicking, not only the chairs, walls, and some curtains were burnt.

He could see that some of the students had already been gathered, however some were still scattered.

It's not too messy, but a mess is a mess.

"Who'd be cleaning this mess up, Dire?" He questioned the bird man, who shyly looked up at him.

"T-the ghosts are in charge of the cleaning.... They're probably cleaning the whole place up, after the students are... Gone." Crowley explained, still hesitant but he found his voice to talk.

But even with that explanation, his teacher was not having it.

"Why can't you do it?" The multiple colored haired fae raises his brow, uncrossing his arms.

And Crowley did not answer, he probably can't find an excuse for that.

He knows his teacher, and his teacher knows that he had the power to do it.... Probably....

The fae tsked, not too loud, but easily heard by Crowley.

As he then slightly raised his hand and snapped his fingers.

With a single snap, the whole room began to glow in silver.

Everyone was intimidated by this, not only was it just a snap, it was because of how easy he made it.

The room began cleaning itself, like the broken or chipped chair restore itself. The burnt parts of the room patched itself, and what's unique is that the fae didn't say a chant or anything.

But some particular students saw some glimpses of teal swimming through the silver color....

And when the room was all cleaned and tidy, the spell was off.

The fae once again crossed his arms and looked back at Crowley.

"Since there's nothing else I could do here, I'll be taking my leave." With that he floated his way to the front door.

As he was about to cast another spell, someone called out.

"Leaving so soon?"

This made the diurnal fae stop, recognizing the voice.

He turned to look, knowing who it was, and faced the bat fae himself.

"Lilia, what are you doing here?" As that fae just smiled at him.

"Studying, of course. That's the point of the whole school isn't it?" Lilia exclaimed with a smirk, as he saw the โ€œare you seriousโ€ expression from the other.

"Obviously. I meant what's the point of you studying here when you already know all of it...."

"Yes, that's true, but I'm here for fun." He smiled.

"Is that so... Then if it just a hello from you, I'll be leaving then." The diurnal fae exclaimed, but of course Lilia was convincing him to stay.

"What's the rush? Can't stay a little longer?"

"I have nothing else to do here, why else would I stay?"

"Technically, there's something you can do..." Lilia was suggesting something, making the other fae raise a brow.

"What are you implying Lilia."

Surprisingly convincing the fae was easy as long as you know the right words and you have the confidence.

"How about talk it out with the Headmage, he might have a suggestion." Hearing his title, Crowley was surprised by this.

The diurnal fae now figure out what was Lilia's planning, and that doesn't seems bad...

"I'll think about..." He stated, making the bat fae smile.

"Then I'll be off then, I have to take care of my dorm mates... Since Malleus was not invited again..." He sighed softly, thinking on how to cheer the prince up.

Though his eyes did looked back at the diurnal fae when he thought on cheering Malleus up....

"How about visit us next time, he'll be ecstatic to see you again." He said to the other male, who just hummed.

"I suppose so... But probably not now... Though say hi for me then..."

"Is that so, then I'll be get going. See you soon, Darius."

And there we have it, Lilia had finally told his name.

It wasn't probably special, since there's a lot of Darius's around the world.

But there's one fae was named Darius, though not heavily implied in the history, his name and species was still there.

And there's only one fae that was named Darius...

Darius Goldwing, a fae who has made history throughout a relationship between both fairies and humans.

The one who helped bridge the relationship between both species.

And right now, he's floating there like he wasn't a historical figure.

Though no one in this room knows that, unless you are into history... Which majority of are not....

As Darius watched the students leave, one by one.

He was now left behind with Dire, and the magicless human.

โ€ข|FUN FACTS|โ€ข

โ€ข Some of the students were snickering at the scene between Crowley and Dire.

โ€ข The one who would recognize Darius will be none other than the history teacher himself, Trein.

โ€ขย  Technically, Darius was not the one who bridge the relationship. He never cared about those stuff, someone did it and put Darius name.

Author will probably will make some chapter shorter, because I wanted to not make it long.... If I did that, the next chapter will be a couple of months later.

I actually have a mood to write this story, and I hope I have not jinxed that. Because I do want to make this story further.....
