They got engaged on the spot, and Olivia felt a lot more confident about herself once she realized the relationship she was in wasn't deadend. That Rafael actually loved her and the boys. Olivia and Rafael bought Alex out of the house, and Alex got an apartment and started to plan on dating and possibly starting a family on her own. A lot of good things were happening, especially Cade forgiving his mother after hating her for nearly a month straight.

"Mama." Cade whispered, as he walked into his parents' bedroom and shook his mother. Olivia slowly opened her eyes before finding her son beside her.

"What's up, baby?" Olivia asked quietly.

"It's my birthday." Cade smiled. Olivia closed her eyes as she smiled.

"Happy Birthday, love... but it's still early. You need to go back to bed. Daddy and I didn't get to bed until late." Olivia breathed. Cade nodded before stepping onto his tiptoes and kissing his mother's cheek.

"How long should I go back to bed?" Cade whispered.

"Until Daddy and I come and get you. We love you, but you gotta go back to bed." Olivia smiled. She watched as her son slowly walked from the room and shut the door behind him.

Olivia yawned as she rolled onto her side, as her fiance wrapped his arm around her body.

"That kid really hates sleep." Rafael chuckled tiredly.

"He's excited because I told him he had a super special surprise today, and he wanted to find out about it as early as he could." Olivia replied, as she closed her eyes tightly and tried to fall back asleep.

"He isn't going to want to sleep ever again after he finds out about the surprised... I couldn't sleep for a week after I found out." Rafael grinned, before kissing Olivia's neck gently.

At nine, Olivia finally allowed Cade out of his room. She had made him pancakes and sausage, and she listened to him talk about how excited he was for his birthday while Rafael  and Clayton went and ran some last minute errands.

"So, what's the special surprise?" Cade asked, as Olivia wiped syrup off of her son's face.

"You aren't finding out until later, little guy." Olivia smiled.

"Mama, that isn't-"

"Cade, you will find out later. You picked out one gift to open last night, and you decided against the super special one." Olivia replied, as she turned and headed towards the sink.

"But you didn't tell me about the special one until after I started opening my new dinosaur!" Cade huffed as the doorbell rang.

"Lose the sass, babe. Now, go play in your room. I'll give you a bath soon." Olivia spoke, before moving to the front door. She opened it once Cade's door shut, and sighed softly when she saw her Elliot.

She was sick and tired of Elliot showing up on Cade's birthday. Or in general.

"Hi." Olivia sighed, as she looked at her ex.

"Hey, Liv... uh, I'm not here to bother you. Beth wanted to give Cade a birthday gift." Elliot spoke, as he held a gift bag out to Olivia.

"What?" 

"Abbie and I have been telling the girls about Cade. I told Beth that she shared a birthday with Cade, and she insisted on getting him a gift..." Elliot breathed. Olivia swallowed hard as she reached out and took the bag.

"Thanks... I'll make sure Cade gets it." Olivia breathed awkwardly.

"Are you okay? You look like you are going to cry." Elliot frowned.

"Uh, yeah. I'm fine. Thank you for dropping this off." Olivia sniffled, as she brushed a tear from her cheek.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry-"

"It's just super sweet of Beth to get Cade a gift."

"The Liv I knew never cried like this." Elliot spoke softly, before dropping his eyes to her stomach.

"El-"

"Are you pregnant?" He asked quietly. Olivia was thankful that he didn't yell it, because she and Rafael weren't telling Cade and the rest of her friends until tonight.

"Y-yeah... Rafael and I want a baby together before I get too old." Olivia whispered.

"Congrats... you deserve to be happy... I hope you get that little girl you have always wanted." Elliot said with a weak smile.

"You listened to me?"

"Of course I listened to you... you talked about wanting a little girl when we finally got around to having kids."

"Boy or girl... Rafael and I are happy. Take care, El."

Everyone came over at around five for pizza, cake, and gifts. Cade ran around like a crazy man, while Clayton toddled between everyone that sat in the backyard.

"Our little guy is four." Alex breathed, as she came up beside Olivia and rested her head against her shoulder.

"I know. It's crazy." Olivia frowned, as she looked over and saw that Cade had slowed down when Bernie grabbed him and pulled him onto her lap.

"Do you think that there will be another baby in your future? Adoption?" Alex asked, as she started to open a package of paper plates.

"Alex, look at me." Olivia sighed.

"Huh?" Alex asked, as she looked at Olivia's forehead instead of into her eyes.

"Did my fiance tell you, or is it because I'm on desk duty?" Olivia questioned, and Alex smiled as she finally looked into her friend's eyes.

"You are glowing, Liv. You look so happy, and I also knew that you were pregnant because your fiance decided to tell me because he was so freaking excited." Alex grinned.

"We both are. We have wanted a baby together since we started to date."

"Do you know what you are having yet?" Alex asked, and Olivia shook her head.

"Not yet. Well, we will today. We got one of those early tests and Cade's gift is to find out about the baby and what it is." Olivia smiled.

"He is going to freak." Alex chuckled.

They ate dinner before Cade sat on Bernie's lap again and opened gifts. He got a new pair of shoes that lit up when he walked, a book on dinosaurs, and several toys. He opened his gift from Beth and got an otter stuffed animal. Cade was confused at first, but got super excited when he found out it was from Beth.

"Is this the last gift?" Cade frowned, as he looked at the small envelop.

"Buddy-"

"Thank you all for the gifts." Cade smiled, before his mother to scold him.

"You are very welcome, kid." Alex grinned.

"Open?" Clayton asked, from where he stood in front of his big brother.

"Yeah. I'm gonna open it." Cade spoke. He opened the envelop before eyeing the paperwork quietly. After a moment, he smiled when he saw a small note that said he was going to be a big brother again. 

"Is this real?" Cade asked, and Olivia nodded.

"It is." She breathed as tears welled in her eyes.

"And what is this?" Cade asked, as he climbed off his grandmother's lap before carrying the paper to his mother. She squatted down in front of him before pulling the paper out.

"This is going to tell us what the baby is. Just open it up. It's folded to hide the sex of the baby."

"Oh!" Cade exclaimed. He smiled as he quickly unfolded the paper before squealing loudly and wrapping his arms around his mother's neck.
