Chapter 28 - (2.2K Words)

04:59, 29 May 2016

For a moment, you were in utter shock. You couldn't move at all. You could feel Jimin's lips pressing themselves harshly into yours. Your heart was pounding inside your chest, and you could hardly feel yourself think.

I've got to get away!

You frantically pushed Jimin away from you, and you tried to pull away from the kiss. Jimin hastily wrapped both of his arms around your shoulders, deepening the kiss and eliminating any chance you had of escaping from him. Your arms were now trapped at your sides. His tongue grazed your lips, and you tried to push yourself away from him again.

You felt your back bump against something, and you jumped, breaking the kiss. You were trapped in between the wall of the pool and Jimin. He kept one of his legs between yours so that you couldn't get away.

Without waiting for you to catch your breath, he pushed himself forward and tried to kiss you again, but you quickly turned your head to the side. His lips planted themselves on the soft skin of your cheek, and he gave you an aggravated sigh.

"When I'm through with you," Jimin took a few short breaths, letting himself rest on your shoulder. "Orange is going to be your favorite color."

His lips slowly trailed down your neck, leaving soft butterfly kisses. The soft kisses tickled the skin on your neck, causing you to tense up. You gritted your teeth, and tried to keep a moan from escaping you. You didn't want to admit it, but he was good at this.

His hands started working their way down your hips. You squirmed under his touch, but he held you still with ease. Finally, his fingers found the hem of your bottoms. He started playing with the fabric, and you felt a giant knot form in your stomach.

I can't keep up like this forever.

"Knock knock."

You turned your head and glanced over your shoulder at the doorway to the house. Hoseok was standing in between the wall of the house and the open door. He looked at how Jimin was holding you, and then flashed him a highly unpleasant glare.

"What the hell do you want?" Jimin moved so that he was shielding you from Hoseok. He let go of the bottom of your swimsuit, and moved his hands higher up on your back.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Was I interrupting something?" Hoseok asked, an innocent look on his face replacing the glare. "I can come back later, if that's alright. Namjoon just wanted to have a talk with the princess as soon as possible." He peered at you over Jimin's shoulder. "Jimin, you can join us, if you'd like."

Thank god. I'm free.

"Can you give us a minute?" Jimin asked, clearly annoyed by the sudden intrusion. "I'd like to finish what we've started."

"No, I really can't," Hoseok said, stepping all the way outside. "We're wasting enough time as it is."

"Fine."

Jimin let go and stepped away from you. He found another spot on the wall, and hoisted himself up onto the concrete. He held his hand out to you, and helped you pull yourself out of the pool. He made sure that you were safely on your feet before letting go of you.

"Next time, you won't be so lucky," Jimin whispered into your ear. He pushed past Hoseok, and made his way into the house.

I hope there's not a "next time."

"Although, I think you should change into something more decent before we go see Namjoon," Hoseok scanned you up and down. "That bikini might be just a little bit too distracting."

"I think you're right," you nodded to Hoseok, relieved that Jimin was gone. "This isn't exactly the most appropriate thing I've ever worn."

Hoseok threw you a towel, and you caught it. You quickly dried yourself off as best as you could, and then put the white cover-up back on over your navy blue swimsuit. Just like before, it didn't do a very good job of covering you. You grabbed your glasses, and slid them on over the bridge of your nose.

"Is this all that he gave you to wear?" Hoseok took the wet towel from you. "I thought the swimsuit was bad on its own, but this is ridiculous."

"Tell me about it," you said, covering yourself with your arms. "He seemed pretty persistent about going swimming with me, and this was all that he brought for me."

You walked inside of the house together, and headed towards the grand stairs in the front room. You didn't see any sign of anybody else at all. The entire house looked as though it had been deserted.

"So, what was going on between you two out there?" Hoseok asked as you were climbing up the stairs. "I-If you don't mind me asking."

You gulped, and thought back to when Jimin was chasing you around the inside of the pool. You could still feel his hands on you, holding you still while he kissed you.

"I'd rather not talk about it," you whispered, and looked down at your feet.

"T-That's okay, you don't have to," Hoseok stuttered, sensing your obvious discomfort. "I just wanted to make sure that you were okay. You don't have to talk if you don't want to."

You looked up at Hoseok, and he had a look of genuine concern plastered on his face. You blushed, and quickly looked back down at the floor. The two of you walked down the hallway to your room in silence.

"I'll wait out here for you," Hoseok said awkwardly, avoiding your gaze. "You can go inside and change back into what you were wearing before."

You looked down the hallway, and realized that the door to Jimin's room was still open. You couldn't see him, so you figured that he must have gone somewhere else in the house.M

"Actually, Hoseok, can I ask you to do something for me?" You asked, nervously rubbing your hands together.

Hoseok looked back at where you were staring, and saw Jimin's open door. He turned back to you, and crossed his arms over his chest. He leaned forward so that he was close enough to whisper in your ear.

"What exactly is it you want me to do?"

"Can I ask you to come into my room with me?" You asked. "Jimin's not back in his room, and I'm not sure where he is. I don't want him to--"

"It's okay, I understand," Hoseok said, letting his hand rest on your shoulder. "I can help you. But are you sure you want me in there while you're..." Hoseok trailed off, and looked you dead in the eyes.

"I can change in the bathroom," you said. "I just...don't want to be alone right now, okay?"

Hoseok nodded sympathetically, and followed you into the bedroom. He closed the door behind the both of you.

You walked over to the bed, and grabbed the clothes that were resting on top. You quickly made your way over to the bathroom door, wanting to change as quickly as possible. You didn't want to keep Namjoom waiting too long.

"Hey, feel free to take your time," Hoseok said, sitting down on the bed. "We're not really in any hurry."

"What do you mean?" You paused just in front of the bathroom door. "Didn't you tell Jimin that he was wasting your time, and we needed to go? Namjoon does need to talk to me, right?"

"He does need to talk to you," Hoseok smiled, "but he said when it was convenient for you to see him. I said as soon as possible, didn't I?"

"You mean you said that to get me away from Jimin?" You looked up at Hoseok, and gave him a weak smile.

"You didn't seem like you were enjoying yourself, so I figured that I would help you out a little bit," Hoseok said, rubbing the back of his head and giving you a dumb, but cute smile.

He must be my guardian angel.

"Thank you, Hoseok."

You closed the door to the bathroom and locked the knob behind you, just in case. You quickly stripped yourself of the wet swimsuit and cover-up. You set your glasses down on the sink counter. You ran your hand through your hair, and were disappointed when you found that it was dry and sticky from the chlorine, even though you hadn't gone under the water.

I'm going to have to wash it out.

You quickly hopped into the shower and turned on the faucet. You were met with a cold spray of water, which forced you into the corner of the shower. You pushed yourself as far away from the cold water that you could. Luckily, it didn't take too much longer for the water to get warmer.

Now that the water wasn't ice cold, you could move out of the shower corner. The water felt like it was the perfect temperature--it wasn't too hot, and it wasn't too cold. You felt the stickiness of the chlorine leave your skin as the water drizzled down your back.

You let the water rinse the chlorine out of your hair. Just to be sure that you got all of the chlorine out, you shampooed your hair an extra time. In almost no time at all, your hair was rid of the nasty chlorine.

You turned the faucet off and leaned against the shower wall. The tiles felt cold and wet, but oddly pleasing against the warmth of your shoulders. You rubbed your eyes, trying to get the moisture out of them. You waited another second before grabbing a towel off of the rack and wrapping yourself up.

As you stepped out of the shower, you quickly dried yourself off. You dried your hair, and then pulled your clothes on. You slid your glasses on over the bridge of your nose, and left the bathroom.

As the door clicked shut behind you, Hoseok sat up on the bed. He adjusted the pillows he had been laying on, and then turned back to face you. You smiled, and pushed your glasses up your nose to keep them from falling off.

"Well, should we get going?" You asked, moving towards the bedroom door. Hoseok pushed himself off of the bed, and followed you out of the room.

"So, what exactly did Namjoon say he wanted to talk about?" You asked as Hoseok lead you down the stairs towards the office.

"He wasn't very specific about it with me, but he said that it was important," Hoseok said. "He asked that Jin and I be there, too. He doesn't do that very often, which is weird."

You both turned into the office hallway, and saw Jimin calmly sitting outside on the bench, still in his swimsuit. Jimin's head whipped around, and his gaze soured as soon as he saw the both of you. He stood up and made his way towards the both of you.

Not him again.

Hoseok quickly put his arm in front of you and shielded you from Jimin. Jimin sighed and pushed past Hoseok, not even bothering to look at you. The two of you watched as he quickly left the office hallway.

"That was abrupt," Hoseok remarked, straightening out his shirt while staring after Jimin. "And rude, if I do say so myself. I don't get what the hell his problem is, anyway."

You shrugged your shoulders, and walked with Hoseok towards the office. The double doors were open, but you could clearly see Namjoon and Jin sitting in there, talking to each other. Namjoon's eyes flicked up to you and Hoseok, and he moved from his spot next to Jin.

"There you two are," Namjoon said, stepping out into the hallway. "We've been needing to talk to you about something, Princess."

Without waiting for you to respond, Namjoon quickly grabbed your hand and pulled you into the office. Hoseok closed the doors behind you and leaned up against it to make sure that no one could get in or out. Namjoon lead you over to an empty chair, and carefully sat you down. Jin sat up straight in his chair, and Namjoon sat down beside him.

There was a moment of silence between everyone. You looked at all three of the boys in the room with you, waiting for one of them to begin.

"Princess, you remember Jackson, right?" Namjoon asked, deciding not to waste any more time.

You nodded your head.

"You remember Mark and Yugyeom too, right?"

Again, you nodded.

"We haven't seen or heard anything from them since they escorted you through Daegu," Jin said. "And that's not all."

"What do you mean? What's going on?" You frantically looked around at each of the boys, but none of them spoke up.

"All three of them have gone missing, along with the three million that Jackson stole," Hoseok spoke up.

"Hey! You told me that you didn't know anything!" You turned on Hoseok, a feeling of betrayal washing over you.

"We think that somebody powerful is protecting them, but that's not all," Namjoon said slowly, drawing your attention back to him.

"We think their disappearances have something to do with you."
