Chapter 15 - (2.1K Words)

01:27, 23 April 2016

It wasn't long before you were at the other end of the city. You had stopped to take some of the subways through the city, which made the trip a lot shorter. You had almost left Yugyeom behind at one of the stations on accident, but now you were all laughing about it.

After you got off of the last subway, you and Mark met up with Yugyeom outside of the station. Throughout the trip, Yugyeom had kept his distance, and never had to use anything that was in the bag.

"Yugyeom, what time is it?" Mark asked, finally letting go of your hand. "I want to know if we have time to get lunch."

"It's a few minutes after one o'clock. We don't have to get her to the drop-off until three," Yugyeom said, peeling back his jacket sleeve and looking at the silver watch on his wrist. "We have time, as long as it's not anything too fancy, okay?"

"Okay, so we have two hours to go anywhere on this side of Daegu. That shouldn't be a problem," Mark said, scanning the street around you. "We just have to find a place to go."

You started looking up and down the street too. You were hungry too. You had woken up fairly early, so you didn't know how long ago it was that you ate. And even though Jin's cooking was good, he didn't make a lot to eat.

Finally, you spied what looked like a restaurant. It was just a block away from you on the other side of the street. You tugged on Mark's sleeve, and pointed down the road towards the building.

"You found one?" Mark asked, squinting his eyes to look at the sign that stood out in front of it. "I hope it's warm inside."

You followed Mark and Yugyeom as they lead the way to the restaurant. You all stood at the edge of the street, waiting for a chance to cross. Before you could cross, you saw two familiar figures walking on the side opposite yours. You peeked your head around Mark, wanting to get a closer look.

It's the two guys that passed us on the sidewalk earlier today. How did they get to this side of town so quick?

"(Y/N), is something wrong?" Mark asked, turning his head. "You look a little spaced-out."

You motioned your head towards the men that were on the other side of the street. They were now leaned up against a building, as if waiting for someone. They still had the same big bags with them. Mark nodded his head, and leaned over to Yugyeom.

"Don't worry, I see them too," he said, keeping his hand firm on the bag. "This isn't a coincidence. But this means that we might have to skip lunch and get right to the drop-off."

"Alright," Mark said, grabbing your hand and pulling you up to stand beside him. "We'll meet you there, okay? If they give you any trouble..."

"I'll be fine. I know what to do," Yugyeom said, walking out into the street.

You watched as he made his way to the other side of the street. You gulped, and let Mark pull you along.

* * * *

"Is he still behind us?"

"Yeah, I can hear his footsteps," Mark said, not even bothering to look behind you. One of his arms was wrapped protectively around you, while the other one was ready to grab the holstered gun, should he need it.

One of the two men had decided to follow you two, and the other one had gone after Yugyeom. You had circled block after block to try to slip away from the guy that was following you, but nothing seemed to work. It was like he knew the streets better than the back of his own hand.

"Here's what we're going to do," Mark whispered in your ear. "We're going to turn down that alleyway down there, and get out of public sight," he pointed to break between the buildings, "so we can figure out what this guy wants."

"Is that safe?" You worriedly asked.

"Probably not, but it's the best option we've got," Mark said. "It's either that or he follows us and figures out what's really going on."

You held your breath and willingly let Mark take the lead. You walked into the alley together, hoping that you could get the mystery man to follow you.

"Shit, it's a dead end."

You looked up, and Mark was right. There was a large brick wall at the end of the alley, and there didn't look to be any other way out. There were large dumpsters, which you could smell all the way from the opening of the dim alley.

"We need to get out of here," you said, frantically wrenching yourself away from Mark. You turned around, and you were face to face with the man that had been following you. Had he been standing even a little bit more forward, you would have bumped into him.

You stood there, staring into the eyes of the man. He towered over you. He was smirking, and his eyes were tracing the outlines of your figure. You quickly covered yourself with the jacket, and he let out a hoarse laugh.

"What do you want from us?" Mark stepped in between you and the man that was following you. You pressed into his back, trying to hide yourself.

"Yah, not even a little peek?" The man whined. He reached his head around Mark, trying to get a closer look at you. "I just want to look at her. She's really pretty."

"Please, just leave us alone," You pleaded, struggling to stay hidden behind Mark. "We don't want any trouble."

Mark stood his ground, and did his best to protect you from the man in front of you. You tried your best to keep away from the man, but he didn't seem to want to give up. You stepped farther down the alley, hoping to give Mark a chance to deal with the man.

The man tried to push past Mark, but he couldn't get around him. You watched as they started throwing punches at each other, and you shrunk back against the wall of the alley. Most of their punches missed, but you could hear the ones that connected.

Why isn't he using the gun?!

All of a sudden, Mark was falling. You watched in horror as Mark hit the pavement, and didn't get back up. You fell to your knees, and put your hand over your mouth. The man was howling with a sort of wicked laughter, and stepped over the limp body of Mark.

He nonchalantly walked towards you, and you gazed up at him with fear in your eyes. He still had the same smirk on his face. You tried your best to keep from tearing up.

"Well, I was right about one thing," he said, coming to stand before you. "You are very pretty. Can you tell me your name?"

"You can go to hell," you spat at him, picking yourself up off the ground and pushing past him. You wanted to grab Mark and get out of there, but the man grabbed your wrist and pulled you uncomfortably close to him. He wrapped his arms tightly around you, and you tried to squirm away from him.

"Let me go!" You screamed, stomping down on his foot. He yelped and grabbed at his foot, giving you a chance to escape. You stumbled away from him, and made your way towards the edge of the alley where Mark was still laying.

I can't just leave him here.

"Come on, wake up!" You frantically whispered to Mark, hoping he would open his eyes. "Wake up, wake up! Come on, Mark!"

"You shouldn't forget about me, love."

A pair of strong arms wrapped around your waist, and pulled you up off the ground away from Mark. They lifted you up, and all you could do was claw at the air around you. You tried to break away from the arms around your waist, but they only squeezed you tighter.

Your back was slammed hard against the wall. The air rushed out of your lungs, and you clutched at your stomach. The man ripped your hands away, and he held them both against the wall. He pressed himself up against you, making absolute sure that you couldn't escape this time.

"Wow, you made that really fun," he said, letting a dark chuckle escape. "I always like it when the ladies try to fight back. It makes it way more interesting."

You said nothing, you only glared at him. You were still trying to get your breath back, and you were breathing heavily because of it.

"You never told me what your name was," he said, moving his lips dangerously close to your ear. "I'd rather you tell me what it is before I have to beat it out of you."

"My parents told me not to give strangers my name," you said, finally able to speak. "And considering that you just attacked me and my friend, I don't think you deserve to know."

"From the way he was holding you, I don't think I'd say you're just friends," the man whispered into your ear. "But I'll tell you my name if you tell me yours."

You sighed and bit your lip. You had no way to defend yourself right now. You were in no position to be refusing this man. It was better to go along and give him what he wanted.

"Chaeyeon," you lied, "my name is Lim Chaeyeon."

"What an appropriate name for a girl like you," he said, scanning the features of your face. "It has a nice ring to it.

"Well, what's your name?" You asked, trying to play his little game. "You said that you would tell me."

"Well, I can't exactly tell anyone my name, but I'll give you the next best thing," he said, loosening his grip on your hands. "I'll tell you my nickname."

"That's not fair!" You pretended to pout. "You told me that you would give me your name!"

"Life isn't fair sometimes, love," he said, planting a small kiss on one of your hands.

"They call me G Dragon."

"And that's all they'll ever call you if you don't step away from her right now."

You turned your head, and you could see Yugyeom standing at the opening of the alley. The bag he had been carrying was now laying on the ground, and there was a shotgun in his hands.

"I want you on the other side of the alley, and your hands up in the air," Yugyeom said, keeping the gun in plain sight. "Don't think that I'm afraid to shoot."

G Dragon gently released your hands and put his in the air. He backed away from you so that he was on the other side of the alley. He kept his eyes on you, as if blaming you for Yugyeom's presence.

After waiting a moment, you stumbled over to where Mark was, and you tried your best to pick him up. Not only was he heavy, but he was unconscious, and his body was fighting against your efforts.

"Hold this, I've got him," Yugyeom leaned down, and handed you the gun. "If he tries anything, you need to shoot him. I'm counting on you."

You nodded your head, and stood up. You faced G Dragon and tried to keep your hands from shaking. Your hands were shaking so badly that you almost dropped the gun.

He stood there, watching you and smirking at how pathetic you looked. You tightened your grip on the gun, and tried to look as tough as you could. Even then, you probably didn't look tough enough.

"Alright Chaeyeon, let's get out of here," Yugyeom said, going along with your lie. Mark was draped lazily around his shoulders.

The three of you backed out of the alley together, and you made your way out into the street. You made sure to pick up the bag on your way out. G Dragon had backed himself against the alley wall, and was resting himself on it.

"It was nice meeting you, Chaeyeon," G Dragon said, slowly putting down his hands. "I hope that I'll be able to see you again someday."

"You can go to hell for all I care," you spat, putting the shotgun back in the bag.

"As long as I get to see you one more time before I get there, love."
