POV Namjoon

The car ride back with the guys was quieter than usual. I could tell everyone was processing what they'd just heard. I hated the thought of this awkward conversation, but it was necessary.

I broke the silence. "So... what do you guys think?"

Jin was the first to speak, scratching the back of his neck with a surprised grin. "Honestly? I didn't see that coming."

Hoseok nodded, bouncing a little in his seat like it was exciting. "Sounds fun, though. And honestly, pretty innovative."

Yoongi folded his arms, eyebrows knitting together. "I just hope ARMY likes her. If they don't... they'll tear her apart."

I chuckled softly, glancing over at him. "They will love her. Trust me."

Taehyung gave me a skeptical look. "How can you be so sure, hyung?"

I looked out the window for a second, then met his gaze. "Because the little I've seen of her? She's amazing. Has this warm, genuine personality. You'll all see. You'll end up adopting her faster than you realize. And if ARMY sees how well we treat her—and how well she treats us—they won't have any choice but to welcome her with open arms."

Jungkook shrugged, a small hopeful smile tugging at his lips. "I hope you're right. She does seem really sweet."

Taehyung leaned back, still a little unsure. "I guess time will tell."

"I know you guys are skeptical now, but I truly believe this will work out. And Yoongi, Tae... I know you're already putting up walls. But please—don't. Not before you give her a real chance."

They all nodded, though not with much enthusiasm. But I was sure—Y/N would work her magic on them soon enough.

We pulled into the building just as Y/N's SUV rolled up beside us. She stepped out, offering me a nervous smile that tugged at my heart. I hoped we'd be able to make her feel at home, welcome her properly into this new world — my world.

Y/N's eyes widened as we stepped inside the lobby. "Wow... this is impressive. Who lives in a place like this?"

I grinned. "Well, us—obviously. But mostly rich CEOs, celebrities, politicians... you'll have some pretty famous neighbors. That's why it's a closed compound. Safe. No fans, no cameras, no reporters."

Jungkook piped up, "We all live together in the penthouse. You'll have the apartment right under ours. Only one flat per floor."

Y/N's mouth fell open in surprise. "Oh my god, so it's huge!"

I opened the door to the 49th floor—the one she'd be calling home. As she stepped inside, I saw her eyes sparkle.

POV Y/N

I'd never been a material girl, but this flat? It was something else. Huge doesn't even begin to cover it. Six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, this giant living space... Sure, BigHit wanted me here for practical reasons with the show, but was all this really necessary? The emptiness made it feel even bigger—like I might get lost.

The kitchen was fully equipped, with a sleek countertop and two chairs, and each bedroom had an ensuite dressing room with shelves. This place was a dream.

Namjoon laughed, breaking my thoughts. "First thing you'll need is a big dining table. How are we supposed to fit at just two chairs?"

Jungkook threw in, "And a huge sofa!"

Namjoon held up his hand. "Guys, I think the bedrooms are priority number one."

I felt a warmth spread through me—eyes stinging a little. They were already imagining their time here. With me. That feeling was... special. I didn't say a word, just pulled out my phone to jot down notes on their suggestions.

Yoongi suddenly groaned. "All this talking is making me hungry! Can't we make a list while we eat?"

The guys agreed, heading out to the elevator to join their floor. I stayed behind, drawn to the view from the balcony overlooking the Han River. The moment was overwhelming.

A light tap on my shoulder startled me.

Taehyung stood there, offering a small smile. "You coming?"

I nodded. "Yeah. Thanks for having me."

He shrugged. "It's a lot, huh?"

I let out a breath. "Honestly... yeah. I'm kind of overwhelmed."

He smiled softly, almost wistfully. "You'll get used to it."

I tilted my head. "How long did it take you?"

He laughed quietly, eyes distant. "Sometimes... I still don't get what happened to me. People told me I'd adjust. I wonder if I ever will."

I couldn't stop myself from laughing at that.

"Thanks, Taehyung-ssi," I said, grinning. "Very reassuring."

He chuckled too, rubbing the back of his neck. "Hey, what keeps me grounded are these guys. You've got us now. No worries. And drop the formalities with me, okay? We're in the same boat—you can just call me Taehyung."

He'd been quiet and reserved until now, but I could feel him warming up. It meant the world.

We met up with the others again, their apartment mirroring mine in layout—but fully furnished, filled with life.

Namjoon grinned. "Kimchi fried rice, anyone? Can you handle spicy food?"

"Love it!" I said enthusiastically.

He smirked. "Perfect.""Can you help out?" I asked

He shook his head. "Nope. Just look around and try to feel at home."

Jimin, Jungkook, and Hoseok were deep into a video game, laughter spilling across the room.

I smiled softly.

Namjoon chuckled, watching them. "Boys will be boys."

"Definitely," I agreed.

He looked at me, eyes curious. "So... how do you feel?"

I took a deep breath, heart pounding. "A mess. Nervous, grateful, excited, worried, shy... and honestly, fangirling hard."

He laughed, the sound warm and easy. Just hearing it melted some of the tension inside me.

"Fangirling?" he teased. "You're an ARMY?"

"Of course! How could I not be? You guys are amazing."

Jungkook's eyes lit up. "For how long?"

"Since debut. I've been into K-pop since BigBang's 'Haru Haru.' I watched you debut and grow. I even took a picture the day you won your first BBMA—me and your little statue in Gangnam."

I pulled out my phone and showed them the photo, us all laughing at my younger self.

Hoseok smiled. "How old were you there?"

"Almost 21."

Jungkook grinned wide. "So you're  my Noona!"

Did Jungkook just call me Noona? My heart threatened to explode.

The table erupted in laughter as I struggled to hide my fangirl freakout, nodding way too enthusiastically.

Jimin laughed. "Think she'll faint if we tell her she can call the rest of us 'Oppa'?"

Hoseok shook his head, grinning. "Give her a break, Jimin. You'll give her a heart attack."

The questions kept coming as we ate.

Taehyung grinned mischievously. "So... do you have a bias?"

I matched his grin. "Maybe. But I'm not telling."

He laughed. "Oh, don't worry. We'll find out."

After dinner, I offered to help wash dishes, but Namjoon beat me to it. Still, I stuck around to help.

He smiled. "Told you they'd like you."

"Do you really think so?"

He nodded firmly. "Impossible not to."

My heart skipped. Being around them gave me butterflies. But Namjoon... with him, it was a whole zoo.

The doorbell rang. Jungkook peeked in. "Camera crew's here. Time to head out for furniture shopping."

We had the afternoon to shop, and Namjoon had rented out a place so we could relax, shop freely.

Following Jin's advice, I bought a huge dining table, a wall decoration Hoseok and Yoongi approved, and a bed for my room.

Since the furniture wouldn't arrive until tomorrow, the boys offered me a place to crash. I wanted to stay at a friend's, but Namjoon shut that down.

"We're your friends now. If you need a place, it can be ours."

That ended the debate.

He'd give me his room, and he'd bunk with Taehyung, like old times, they joked.

To thank them, I promised a housewarming party the next day—with me cooking. They were excited about that.

And that's how I ended up in Namjoon's bed, wearing his hoodie and Jimin's shorts as pajamas. I closed my eyes, breathed in his scent, and tried to soak in this feeling of pure bliss.

Life could be worse.
