A Shocking Reunion Ch. 7

Ash's POV

Ash couldn't believe it. Dawn and May were in Hoenn with Serena. He kinda guessed that it was going to happen at some point with May, but Dawn? What was she doing in Hoenn? Everyone kept staring at each other in shock.

"Ash? Is that you?" May asked.

"It is me." Ash answered, still dazed.

"Well nice to see you too. After all of the people that you've ever traveled with, you never call us, but you call her?" Dawn asked, jealousy flowing out of her.

"W-well... I-I..." Ash studdered. His eyes glanced over at May.

"H-Hey May! What are you doing in Slateport City? And what are you doing in Hoenn Dawn?" Ash asked them, hoping to change the subject.

"I'm participating in Pokemon Contests here in Hoenn." Dawn answered, making Ash sigh of relief.

"I'm traveling with her." May said.

"Ah, that makes sense. Are you guys going to participate in the contest over there?" Ash asked.

"Well, I won't. But Dawn will with Serena." May told him.

"Oh. By the way, how did you guys meet Serena?" Ash asked.

"When we were coming into the town, a fan suddenly came up to us and asked up to perform. Suddenly a crowd came around us and I guess Serena saw it." Dawn said.

"After we were done, she just came up to us." May added.

"Oh." Ash said.

"How did you met her?" Dawn asked.

"We actually met back when we were kids, but then we met again in Kalos. She started traveling along with me and some others." Ash answered.

"Speaking of Serena, you were calling her, right?" May asked. She turned around to find Serena and found her brushing her pokemon.

"Welp, we'll be getting out of your hair now Ash." May grabbed Dawn's arm and dragged her back to where they were sitting. Ash heard some muffled talking and saw Serena pop up onto the screen.

"H-Hey Ash." Serena said.

"Hi Serena. Sorry about that. I haven't seen those two in a while." Ash said to her, rubbing his neck with his hand.

"It's alright Ash. So anyways, what did you want to talk about?" Serena asked him.

"Oh, umm, my friends wanted to meet you." Ash told her.

"Hi! I'm Brock. Nice to meet you Serena." The guy next to Ash said.

"And I'm Misty. Nice to meet you." The girl said.

"Nice to meet you too!" Serena said.

"Brock and Misty traveled with me around Kanto." Ash told her. "So Serena, apparently there's going tho be a guest Coordinator at your next contest."

"Really? That's great! I'd love to see them perform." Serena said.

"Hey Serena, can I ask you a question?" Misty said, a smug look growing on her face.

"Umm, sure?" Serena answered.

"Ok... so... Do you... like Ash?" Misty asked slowly. Serena's face turned a bright red instantly. Ash's face started warming up as well.

"I-I... I-" Serena began.

"M-Misty! Don't ask her that!" Ash said to her, obviously embarrassed. Misty just smiled.

"Uhh, I've got her." Brock grabbed Misty by the hand and dragged her off. "Bye Serena. It was nice meeting you!" Brock said before walking away. Ash turned his attention back to the screen. He was still blushing.

"S-sorry about that Serena." Ash said to her.

"I-It's fine. They seem like good friends." Serena said.

"They are." Ash replied. His eyes drifted to the clock. "Oh shoot. Sorry Serena. I've called you for to long. Bye Serena!" Ash waved goodbye.

"Bye Ash!" Serena waved back.

Serena's POV

*Click*

The screen turned black but Serena kept staring at the colorless screen. She sighed.

"So, do you like him?"

Serena turned around to find Dawn and May staring at her expectantly. Serena had forgotten that they were there. Her face turned red again.

"I-I d-don't know what you guys are t-talking about." Serena said nervously.

"You don't need to ask that Dawn. It's as clear as day! Just look at her face!" May said smirking.

"W-what?" Serena started rubbing her cheeks vigorously.

"I guess your right. So Serena, what do you like about Ash?" Dawn asked.

"W-Well..." Serena hesitated. "H-He's really kind and caring. He always puts others before himself. He loves his pokemon, friends, and family. And he's really han-" Serena put her hands over her mouth before she could say handsome.  May and Dawn smiled.

"Go on~" They said in unison.

"I-I'm going to my room!" Serena ran to her room, her pokemon following behind. As soon as she got to her room, she jumped onto the bed. Her face could've set the pillows on fire. Her pokemon got onto the bed and tried to calm her down.

"Brai braixen." 

"Uuuuggghhhh..." Serena moaned through the pillow. "Why am I so... uuuuggghhh." She muttered.

"Sylve." Sylveon patted Serena's head with her ribbon. Serena slowly got up and faced her pokemon, her face still bright red.

"Sorry for making you worry guys... I just really- OW!!" Serena burnt her hand. She had put her hand on her pillow and it was scorching hot. Serena just stared at the pillow.

"Okay..." She muttered to herself. "Anyways, I can't believe that May and Dawn both know Ash... Hmm... Now that I think about it... Ash did say that he traveled with some people named May and Dawn, so it must've been them." Just as Serena said that, something came flying into the room, making Serena jump.

"You bet it was! Me and May have traveled with Ash before, so that's how we know him." Dawn said. May walked into the room.

"How did you know about what I was talking about?" Serena asked surprised.

"We were listening outside your door." May answered.

"And How did you get inside here?" Serena asked.

"You forgot to lock the door~" Dawn sang. May and Serena both sweat dropped. May walked over to Serena's bed and sat down.

"So you travelled with Ash too, huh?" May asked while watching Dawn play around with Serena's pokemon.

"Yeah, I did." Serena answered.

"Well, I guess that just give us another thing in common." May said.

"Huh?" Serena questioned.

"Well we love our pokemon, we both perform, and we both traveled with Ash. Dawn too of course." May said.

"I guess so." Serena said. Suddenly, Dawn ran up to them.

"Yeah! We could only grow closer!" Dawn exclaimed, pulling them into a hug. 

Serena smiled. She was happy to have new friends in a new place.

You know, I think I'm describing Dawn as too childish... Well, she can be both :P Anyways, thanks again to all of you who have been reading my fanfic so far! I really appreciate it! Also, most of the Amourshipping moments will be coming later into the fanfic, but I hope that you all still enjoy! I've been running out of motivation resently, so if you all have any ideas, please put it in the comments below! Thanks!!
