Burned (a Roy x Ed fanfiction)

CHAPTER16

"The good for nothin lil brat's gonna pay..." Envy growled as he paced back and forth. He had been doing this for almost an hour now, and Al had just found himself helplessly watching and listening. "I mean really, what was he thinking... Lil pip-squeak just disappeared on me."

Alphonse sighed, at first being taken apart by Envy had been truly terrifying, the thought of not being able to move was scary. But now, he just found it boring. Envy hadn't done anything, just bitched an moaned about Edward while pacing around the room for a hour.

Envy hissed under his breath. "What the hell?! I went through all this trouble to get the pipsqueak here and he hasn't even shown. I lose the bate for the flame alchemist, Edward apparently doesn't give a shit about his little brother, and they aren't anywhere to be found!" He kicked a crate in frustration, being a much heavier humunclus then he appeared, the box cracked slightly and it slid across the floor smashing into bits against the wall. Yeah, Al wasn't gonna get on his bad side.

"Here that?! Your precious big brother isn't coming for ya, in fact..." Envy's voice was croaking and devious. "No one knows where he is..."

The furious blonde trudged down the stone pavement, his hands jammed in the pockets of his red jacket, and long blonde hair draped in his face. He really wished he'd stuck around long enough to at least grab a hair band to pull his hair outta his face, hell why not just chop it all off?! He was still pissed, he, Edward Elric had kissed Roy Mustang, and he had liked it. And yet that was still somehow Roy's fault, Ed just knew it.

What was he doing, it was cold and rainy out, the sky's where dark, and he didn't even know where to start looking.

Ed was deep in thought about where Envy might have taken Alphonse, when someone ran directly into him. "Oof!" Ed gasped on impact. He looked up about to yell at whoever had been so carless as to walk into him when he realized he recognized the face. Oh no.

Well Ed was doomed. Riza Hawkeye stood in front of him a smirk present on her face. "Fullmetal?" She said confused.

The blonde took several steps backwards, she was going to kill him for leaving the hospital early and ditching Roy! "R-Riza, I can explain..."But Ed didn't instead he just stood there staring.

She looked a bit worried. "Fullmetal, where have you been?! We've all been worried sick!" She said a grin on her face.

"Hawkeye.. What are you talking about I've been at the hospital with you and Ro-" oh shit, Ed quite talking and backed up more.

"What's the matter pipsqueak? Not who you were expecting?" Riza wasn't Riza anymore, no now it was clearly Envy. "Your comin with me, by force." And with that he brought his hand down hard on the back of Ed's neck and he collapsed into Envy's arms, unconscious. "Sorry but, you just don't seem to listen to reason so let's see if I can use you for the win..."

Between the weather and the time nobody was out on the streets to see any of this go down. So Envy easily slipped Edward back into the dank, darkened alleyway behind them, disappearing into the darkness.

Authors note: okay so I had an evil idea I think I'm gonna peruse so that'll be interesting. And that was short I know but now I'm on track again and that was just sorta a filler.
