Chapter 10

"Good morning.." Said a sleepy Sakura as she woke up.

"Here." Tsunami said as she setted down down some food.

"Naruto didn't come back from training?" Asked Tazuna.

"He's such an idiot. He's been out every night to practice." Sakura said.

"He might be dead already from using up too much Chakra."

"I wonder if Naruto's okay." Said Tsunami.

"Speaking of which, where's Akiko?" asked Kakashi.

"She's still sleeping." Said Sasuke and he got up and walked out.

"Sasuke-kun?"

"I'm going out for a walk." He said then left.

"b-but we're about to eat..." She looked down at Sasuke's dish as he was already finished. Then someone else came out.

"Ohayo.." Akiko said sleepily as she ate breakfast quickly and left.

"Not you too!" Said Sakura.

"Gomen Sakura! I have to help the boys." Akiko said as she left.

"mattaku..."

Akiko POV

I left through the door and went to the woods. I crossed someone with silky black hair and beautiful, but her chakra...was similar to the tracking ninja.... Eh, probably nothing. I shook it off.  I soon saw Sasuke and Naruto.

"Naruto, Sasuke, are you just going to stand there all day or what?!" I said as I walked over to the boys.

"Hn.." replied Sasuke.

3rd POV

"Naruto? Akiko! Sasuke?" Sakura yelled.

"What are those 3 even doing? And Sasuke didn't even come back from his walk..." The a kunai was thrown towards them. Kakashi and Sakura looked up to see Naruto who climbed to the top.

"No way... Naruto can climb that high now?" Sakura said in disbelief. Naruto smiled proudly.

"How bout that? As for me, I can climb this high now!" Naruto yelled as he jumped up and 'slipped'.

"Naruto you idiot!" Sakura yelled. (cringe x 2 with my sister who's watching the anime while I write.)  But Naruto didn't fall, instead he was just upside-down on the branch.

"Gotcha!" He said while smiling.

"Don't scare us like that!" Sakura scolded Naruto. But then, Naruto's chakra.....lost concentration and he going to actually fall.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Naruto yelled as Akiko sprinted up and caught him.

"I have to agree with Sasuke, you really are an usuratonkachi." Akiko said and frowned.

"Do you have a death wish or something?" Sasuke asked as Naruto got angry.

"NICE CATCH AKIKO!" Sakura yelled.

These kids are really growing...

"They're late...." Said Sakura.

"And not just Naruto, Sasuke and Akiko who is helping them." The door opened to reveal Akiko who was helping the two stand as they walked to their seats for dinner.

"What happened to the boys? They're muddy and looks wiped out." Tazuna said.

"Hehe, we both climbed to the top." Naruto said with a smile.

"Yup, I've got to say, I'm proud." Akiko said as she began to eat.

"Good, Naruto, Sasuke, Akiko, you'll guard Tazuna next." Said Kakashi.

"In just a teeny little bit, the bridge will be complete. It's thanks to you guys." Tazuna said as we all smiled.

"I've really wanted to ask this for a long time now. But why are you still here even though I lied about the mission." Tazuna asked.

"A shinobi must fulfil their duty." Said Kakashi.

The morning birds tweeted as the sun shone brightly.

"Then I'll leave Naruto in your care." Said Kakashi as Akiko, Sakura and Sasuke went to guard Tazuna, leaving a sleeping Naruto behind.

"We'll be going now."

The some-what team 7 then arrived at the bridge.

"W-What the hell is this!" Yelled Tazuna for the people were knocked out.

It can't be...

Mist started to build up as we were there.

"This mist....Sasuke! Sakura! Akiko! Guard Tazuna!" Said Kakashi Sensei.

"He's still alive..." Akiko said.

Akiko POV

"Say Kakashi Sensei, This is the hidden mist jutsu right?" Sakura said, sweating.

"Sorry to keep you guys waiting. I see you still have the brats. He's still trembling, poor thing." Zabuza's voice rang.

Sasuke smiled as several Zabuzas appeared.

"Heh, I'm trembling.....with excitement." Said Sasuke.

"Sasuke, now." I said as Sasuke sliced the Zabuzas.

"Well well, so he can see through my clones. That brat's grown quite a lot." said Zabuza.

"The enemy has appeared now, Haku." He said to the person besides him, the tracking ninja.

"Ara ara, it seems that Akiko's prediction was correct." Kakashi said.

"Prediction?" Zabuza said, confused.

"So the hidden mist shinobi thing was all a lie!" Tazuna said.

"However you look at it, it seems to be a comrade of Zabuza's." Kakashi sensei said.

"I'll do it." Sasuke said. I looked at Sasuke.

"I'll do it also, we'll deal with Haku." I said.

"Tch, I hate brats who think they're cool." Said Sasuke, looking at Haku.

"He's an impressive youth, tho the girl I don't know, I'll take them on." Haku said.

"Go." Said Zabuza as Haku followed his orders and became a tornado, spinning towards Sasuke and me. Sasuke immediatly stopped the senbon needle that Haku used to attack us.

Well well, he can see through that speed, eh... Not bad. Zabuza thought

"Sakura, guard Tazuna and don't move away from me" Kakashi instructed.

"Let the two take care of him." Both me and Sasuke fought Haku as he spoke to us.

"I don't want to kill you. I'd like for you to back down shounen." Haku said.

"Hmph, as if." I said as I launched an attack towards him.

"I see, but you won't be able to keep up with my speed." Said Haku. Haku then performed a one handed justu.

"A Thousand Needles of Death!" He said as we were surrounded by thousands of water needles.

"Sasuke," I said calmly.

"Remember about that training we did." I told him as I began building up chakra to my feet and jumped up with Sasuke. I teleported behind Haku.

"You're supringly dumb" Said Sasuke.

"Heh, from here on now, you'll defend my attacks." I said as he blocked my kunai and I threw another which he dodged. Sasuke then kicked him.

"I can't have you call students brats anymore. Akiko, the number one rookie and the smartest, second is Sasuke while Sakura is second sharpest." Kakashi said.

"And we have the number one knucklehead in our team!" I said smiling.

"Hehehehe, Haku, do you know what this means? At this rate, you will be defeated by you opponents." Zabuza said while smiling.

"Yes..." He said getting up.

"It's unfortunate.." Haku said as he performed a hand sign.

"Hidden Jutsu, Crystal Ice mirrors."

Sasuke and I were surrounded by mirror like things as it sucked Haku in it and the other mirrors appeared to have Haku in it too.
