Chapter 6

Team 7 rowed on a boat with fog covering the air.

"This is quite some fog. I can't see ahead." Sakura said.

"The bridge should be visible now. When we reach the side of the bridge, we'll be in the Land of the Waves." The man rowing the boat said. The bridge began appearing as Akiko felt several distinct chakra above where they were. (The people.) She opened her eyes to see  a super tall bridge.

...Eh- My chakra is still bigger. Akiko thought and closed her eyes once again, unsatisfied.

"Wooooow! It's huge!" Naruto exclaimed.

"H-hey! Please keep it down! I took this boat out under the fog! And I cut the engine and rowing by hand. If they find us, we'll be in deep trouble." The guy said.

"Tazuna-san, I want to ask you something before we arrive at the pier. The identity of your assailants, and the reason why they are after you. If you don't tell us our mission may end when you make landfall." Kakashi said. The old man took a deep breath before speaking.

"It appear I have no choice but to tell you. Frankly, I'd like you to listen. Just as the girl said, this may be beyond the scope of your mission. Actually, I am being targeted by a terrifying man."

"A terrifying man?" We all said.

"Who?" Kakashi sensei asked.

"You guys have probably heard his name before. A shipping magnate by the name of Gato."

"What? Gato...of the Gato Company? One of the world's richest man?"

"Who's that?" Naruto asked.

"He's just an old man who craves money and power." Akiko said, still half sleeping.

"What..?" Sakura said.

"Well yes, but you mustn't say it like that." Tazuna said.

"On the surface, he's the chief executive of a shipping company. But underneath, he is into drug trafficking and deals in contraband using gangs and ninjas. Moreover, he runs a despicable business, ruthlessly taking over nations and enterprises. It was about one year ago, when that man first set his eyes on the Land of the Waves. He used his wealth and violence to enter this country, and before anyone knew it, he had taken complete control of the island's maritime transportation and shipping."

Blah blah blah, *sigh*... I get it! Speak less please! Akiko thought and once again, going to her deep, dream land.

"..If I die, my poor grandson will only cry his heart out!" Akiko heard Tarzan- I mean Tazuna say.

What in the world- 😃

"We'll be arriving soon. Tazuna, it appears we haven't been noticed up until this point." The rowing man said.

"Thanks." Said Tazuna.

We soon rolled into the Land of the Waves, a very beautiful place. Team 7 got off the boat and walked onto the wood platform.

"this is as far as I can go. See you around." The boat man said and rowed away.

"Yeah, you've been a big help." Tazuna said. Tazuna then turned around.

"Ok, get me home safely!"

"Right..." we all said, regretting what path we chose.

We all walked as Sasuke raced with Naruto as Akiko walked looking around at the nature as butterflies surrounded her. Naruto then threw a kunai at a rabbit.

A snow rabbit? but this is the wrong Habitat. Akiko said as Naruto rambled on being sorry to the bunny. Akiko looked at Kakashi who once again caught her glance and nodded over to the bunny. Kakashi sighed.

She sure is smart. Kakashi thought.

...A substitution jutsu..? Akiko thought as something struck her, another chakra presence.

"Come out come out wherever you are!" Akiko said with her best sweet, silky voice that enchanted many. The presence did not move but instead looked shocked.

"I said come out. How long do you plan on staying there?" Akiko said, loosing patience.

Akiko POV

The presence began to move. Jumping up , throwing a very large sword.

"Duck!" I screamed at my teammates and saw that Sakura wasn't even ducking. I ran towards her, pulling her down while the sword injured my arm.

"Akiko!" I heard Sasuke say. I turned around to someone with cow patterned arm thingies.

"Well well, if it isn't-"

"He looks like a cow." I said, cutting off Kakashi and putted my hand over my mouth, realizing what I just said.

"Pfffft, please continue!" I said holding in my laughter as best as I can as my teammates looked at my laughing figure.

"Well is it isn't Zabuza Momochi." Kakashi said. Naruto charged at the guy as I held him back.

"Naruto, right now is a fight between two jonins. If you want to help, help by protecting the old man." I said and mentally sighed, he was always impatient.

"Besides, he's on a different level then any of us." I said. Kakashi began to lift his headband.

"I assume you are Kakashi, the Sharingan user." I looked at Sasuke who was shocked.

The sharingan is only possessed by the Uchiha clan, how come....

"Sorry but, I'll have you hand over the old man." Zabuza said.

3rd POV

"Huh? Sharingan? What's that?" Naruto asked.

What? What is he talking about? Sakura thought.

Akiko noticed quikly.

"Everyone! Manji formation!" Akiko said, quickly adapting to the situation.

"Protect Tazuna, Don't get involved in this fight. Teamwork is important right now." Kakashi said. He lifted his headband to reveal a sharingan.

"Ho, I never expected to see the rumored sharingan this soon. This is an honor." Zabuza said.

"Everyone keep on talking about this Sharingan! What even is it?!" Naruto yelled.

"The sharingan. Power that the light of the eye generates and pupil emanates. The user of the so called visual Jutsu is said to possess the vision to see through all Genjutsu, Ninjutsu and Taijutsu and deflect them. The sharingan is a special type of Kekkei Genkai. However, that is not the only power of the sharingan." Sasuke said.

Zabuza smirked, "Well said, that is not all. What's more frightening is that eye can assess an opponent's techniques and copy them. When I was in the anbu black ops of the Hidden Mist, search information about you was in the Bingo Book. I would carry around with me. I have heard that you, the man who has copied over one thousand skills. Kakashi, the copy ninja."

The two glared at each other while Sakura was having her doubting moment. Fog surrounded us. Akiko looked at Sasuke who knew what he was thinking about.

Sharingan is a special trait only possessed by the Uchihas. The only ones left is Sasuke and Itachi. I don't know if the rinne sharingan counts though... I have it but I don't think it would activate that fast.... Akiko thought.

"Let's end the talking here, I need to kill the old man." We got into the manji formation.

"But it seems to be that I have to defeat you, Kakashi." Zabuza said as moved and stood on water and water swirled around him.

He's building up quite some chakra. Akiko thought.

"Ninja art, Hidden Mist Jutsu." Zabuza said as he disappeared into the mist letting a lone leaf blow by.

"He's vanished!" Naruto said, trying to find him.

"Sensei!" Sakura said as Kakashi started moving forward.

"He'll probably come erase me first."

"Who is he?"

"Zabuza Momochi. He's a Anbu Black Ops member in the Hidden Mist and is known as 'the silent killing' technique expert."

"S-Silent?" Naruto said, unsure if what he's hearing is true.

"The name says it all, he's known for just killing silently." Akiko said.

Akiko POV

"Well, if we fail, we all die." I said as the mist got thicker.

"The land of the waves is surrounded by water, so mist rises very easily." Tazuna said. Kakashi began to get out of sight as things got even more foggier.

"Eight spots." A voice rang out.

"Huh? What?" Sakura said, sweating.

"Sakua, compose yourself!" I said, trying to get my team together. I know that I'm strong enough to protect everyone, but they need to have faith and rely on Kakashi right now but at the same time keep on guard....

"The larnyx, the spine, the lungs, the liver. The kidneys, the heart and the juglar and the subclavian veins. Now then, which vulnerable spot would be good?" I can feel the tension in this mist right now. The wind blew as an intense amount of blood lust has taken place. But for me, this was nothing! My papa's blood lust is better and much more powerful than this! I huffed.

What an intense amount of bloodlust! If I take one breath, or move my eyes, I will be marked and killed that's what I'm feeling. If I'm stuck like this for an hour, I'll go mad! Facing a Jonin's intent to kill... No way! I'd rather die to escape this feeling! Sasuke thought, holding up the kunai, pointing it at his heart.

I looked at him like he was mad, why commit suicide now? I moved my hands towards him and pushed his hands away from his heart.

"Sasuke! What's wrong?" Sasuke looked at me with a 'How do you not feel that bloodlust?' look.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you guys." I said as Kakashi made eye contact with me.

I guess lord Hokage has already told him.

"I will not allow my comrades to get killed." I told Sasuke, looking straight into his eyes.

"You will not die right here and right now." I said to him and gave him a soft smile and returned to my position, feeling for Zabuza's chackra.

"Little girl, I wonder about that..." Zabuza's voice rang once again. I threw a kunai at where he was going to land. He dodged it immediately. Then appeared right in the middle of us all.

"It's over." We all dodged from him as Kakashi attacked him. Both Kakashi sensei and Zabuza was a clone. Zabuza's eyes widened as he realized Kakashi had copied him. Holding a kunai to his neck, Kakashi sensei reappeared.

"Don't move." Kakashi said. (iNuMaKi-SenPaI!)

"It's over."
