Chapter II, The Other Side Of The Coin:

{Flashbacks: Takes place during TPOT 8}

[Two, Gaty, and Basketball screams when Robot Flower sets Basketball on fire]

Gaty: Okaaaay and I'm leaving!

Gaty flees from the scene, causing the therapy session to end with the total of $2,763.00 plus 4% tax. (JUST KIDDING).

After sprinting for a while, she entered the hotel, witnessing an orange-looking coin creature pacing himself back-and-forth. He was panicking, but what about? Gaty decides to approach her teammate in a friendly manner.

Gaty: Hey Coiny. You okay?

Coiny [Startled & Scared]: O-OH! Hey G8TY!

Gaty: ......What?

Coiny [Shaking in Fear]: I-I-I mean, hey Gaty! H-How's it going? Looks l-like you g-got out, huh?

Gaty [Unamused]: Yeah...

Coiny: Okay...

Gaty: Alright..?

Coiny: Stares in awkward silence

Gaty: Well, I just.. Be on my way now-

Coiny: -Is she still in?

Gaty: Who?

Coiny: Pin.

Gaty: Uhh, yeah. She's still in. May I ask why?

Coiny: [Sweats & Blushes]: N-No reason.

Gaty: [Sarcasm]: Uh-huh. Yep.

[More awkward silence]

Two: [Appears out of nowhere]: POP Gaty, there you are! I was wondering where you were after running away like that- oh! Hello Coiny!

Coiny [Flustered mess]: H-Hey Two.

Two: Oh my, is he okay?

Gaty: Yeah he's fine. He's just thinking about Pin- Gives Two a wink

Two: Takes a while to process... Oh... O-OH!!

Coiny [Grumbling]: Seriously, Gaty.

Gaty: Haha! Don't sweat my friend, your secret is safe with the two of us!

Coiny: You guys swear you won't tell anyone.

Two: Of course! This is a pretty serious topic, and I'd hate for the wrong people to hear about this.

Gaty: Eh, I could disagree-

Two & Coiny: WAIT WHAT?!

Gaty [Chuckles]: I'm joking! I won't tell a soul.

After a little while, both Pin and Needle got out (Along with Nickel). They decided to go sit near Golfball's factory and catched up.

Pin: I know it's been a while, but I really miss Saw. I hope she can re-join!

Needle: I know! She was very useful for this team, and a great friend. Hmm, so BFB, right?

Pin: Don't. Get. Me. Start-Ed. On. That.

Needle: Oof. The syllable pronunciation era?

Pin: Sorry. I don't do that anymore, only when I'm ticked.

Needle: Nah, you're good. Gets up. I'm gonna go to the hotel, wanna come with?

Pin: I'm okay, Needy! (Realizes) WAIT NO-

Needle: Gives Pin a light slap. DON'T CALL! Me! Needy.

Pin: O-oh okay.

Needle leaves. Leaving Pin both relieved and confused.

Pin P.O.V: Huh. Why did she slap me so lightly? Maybe it was our conversation that we just had. Weird...

Needle enters the hotel, only to hear some faint voices in another room. She walks upstairs, peers her eyes in, and listens to the whole conversation with her mouth opening up slowly like an activated garage door.

Two: This is going to be difficult..

Gaty: Don't say that. We're just going to ask you a few questions to test your knowledge. You ready, Coiny?

Coiny: I think so.

Gaty: M'kay. Question 1: What is Pin's hobby?

Coiny: That's so easy! Baking!

Gaty: Favorite color?

Coiny: All warm colors.

Gaty: Height or weight?

Coiny: [Pauses for a while]. That's a trick question. Never ask a girl her height and weight.

Gaty: W-wow. I didn't think you'd get that.

Two: Now you MUST confess!

Coiny: I-It's not that simple. I don't know if she feels the same.

Needle: Mhm. Confession is one thing, rejection is another.

Gaty: NEEDLE! How long have you been here

Needle: Long enough for you guys to stop whatever that you're doing. Having an early confession? This may damage their friendship, and I don't want anything happening to Pin.

Two: Well it's not really early per say. They've been best friends since BFDIA.

Needle: That may be true, but when was the last time they had a 1 to 1 conversation?

Coiny: (Thinks for a while) Umm, like 8 weeks ago...

Gaty: COINY?!

Needle: Exactly.

Two: Okay okay. How about this? Starting tomorrow, you and Pin can have a nice break from the contest. Like a week off. After that, we'll get started with TPOT 9.

Coiny: That... sounds nice... thank you.

Two: My pleasure. Now let's get back to the balance beam and see who's still standing!

Two snapped Coiny to the safe area.

Two: Wanna come with girls?

Needle: It's okay, Two. We can walk.

Two: Gaty, we're still having that tea party at 6, right?

Gaty: Of course! Wouldn't miss it for the world.

Two snapped into the challenge. Leaving Gaty and Needle alone in the hotel.

Needle: I swear you and Two act like a married couple sometimes.

Gaty: Ha. Ha. Very funny.

Needle: Hey. Wanna bet on something.

Gaty: I'm listening..

Needle: I'll give you $20.00 if Pin likes Coiny back. If she doesn't, you owe me $20.00.

Gaty: Hmm. Deal 🤝.

After a while the challenge ended with Are You Okay and Team8s UFE (Up for elimination.)

The sky was dark. It was night time and all the teams were getting ready for bed.

Two: Pin. Coiny. Can you come see me for a second?

Two escorts the duo into a small compartment room and had a chat with them.

Two: I have been noticing that you guys don't spend time with each other. So because your team is up for elimination, and there's a risk that one of you might be eliminated, I'm giving you guys a week off! Go explore, see the old BFB contestants if you want. BUT. You guys must promise me that you'll be back in exactly 1 week. Got it?

Pin & Coiny: Yes, thank you Two!

Pin: But I have one question..

Two: Yes?

Pin: Why are you doing this for us?

Two: I care about my contestants, especially when they don't talk to their close buddies.

Pin: ...

I suppose that's fair. P.O.V: Maybe that's why some contestants were gone for a while.

Coiny: Well, what are we waiting for? C'mon Pin!!

Coiny grabbed Pin's hand and dashed out of the room. They found one of Golfball's teleportation bracelets and decided to go to the Real World. (That's right 👍. You heard me. The real world)
