Chapter 16

Natsu's POV

The last demon that apears looks like, Zeref?! But how? He kept walking towards me. I'm getting a little terrified.

"So we meet again, Natsu." He spoke. Last time I saw him was during the s-class trial in x784. He's the one who turned my scarf black.

I glared at him, charging at him, both my fists engulfed in flames. As I threw my attack at him, he stopped it. Huh? I was thrown back against a tree, and I hit it hard.

"Ow!" I screech in pain a little. I glare at him again, determined to defete him, even if it costs my life. He walks a little closer to me and I struggle to get up.

"This will end you." He said. What will end me? What's he going to do?! Get up Natsu, get up! I finally pushed myself to get up.

"Shut it, you bastard." I say. An evil grin is then plastered on my face. I must defete him! I can't kill him because he's immortal and an immortal can't be killed.

I unleashed every single attack I could on him but it didn't do a thing. I kept on attacking but still, it didn't do a thing. Lucy's still unconscious and I'm really worried.

"Fire dragons talon!" I yell. That at least knocked him unconscious for only a few seconds before he regained his energy.

"Death Wave!" He chanted. Did he just say "Death Wave?!" I remember seeing that spell in the book me and Lucy were reading. That could kill me! I didn't know what to do onward, I just froze up somehow.

"Die." He said. I then screeched as I felt a huge amount of pain on my left shoulder and saw that I had gotten a deep wound. I placed my right hand overtop it so the blood would stop flowing out.

"Don't worry. I won't actually kill you. You'll just be put through tremendous amounts of pain!" He said evilly laughing. I grasped my shoulder tighter, as the pain had not gone away.

"Y-you bastard!" I yell at him. I glared at me, then walks away. What?

"We'll continue this someother time, Natsu." He then disappears to who knows where. I look back over at Lucy who's still unconscious. I struggled to get up but I couldn't. My arm was in a really bad condition.

Lucy's POV

W-where am I?!

"H-hello? Anyone there? Natsu? Anyone!" I call out but no one seems to answer me. I then see something in the distance. It was a person and it looked like Natsu!

"Natsu!" I called to him, but he didn't answer. Something's up, everytime I run closer to him, he seems to be getting farther away. His figure then disappears. W-what's happening? I the see another figure, and it looked was my mother.

"Mom..." I trailed off as I saw her standing there before she then disappeared like Natsu did. I then felt something wet fall down my cheeks. Tears. I fall to the floor, bringing my knees closer to me, putting my face in them.

"Someone, please... help me." I said inbetween sobs. What am I going to do?

Natsu's POV

I lied there on the ground, not being able to move. I can't bear to see Lucy like this.

"Lucy, please wake up." I mumble to myself, still on the ground. My left arm was in huge pain, and I needed help. I kept thinking the worst, worrying about Lucy.

I try and use my good arm to get myself up, which I did and slowly walked towards Lucy. I lift her up with one arm, and carry her to a nearby hospital, but we were in a rural area so there were barely any nearby. More blood keeps coming from my arm so I rip some of my pants and use the piece I ripped as a temporary bandage. I then carried Lucy bridal style in my arms, and ran back to the city.

"Luce, please still be alive." I said to a motionless Lucy in my arms. As I ran back to the city, I tripped over a tree root, I fell on top of Lucy, supposingly hurting her.

"I'm sorry, Lucy!" I apologized to her. I grasped her tighter in my arms, trying not to drop or fall on her this time. How far away is the city again? I asked myself before bumping into something. I looked up at what I bumped into and it was someone. She smelled vamiliar.

"Who are you?" I ask, eagerly wanting to know who it was. I can't really remember who she was, I only regognized her smell. She then kicked my face.

"Heh, your such a bitch, Natsu." She spoke. I still can't remember her. She then removes her hood and her face was reveled. It was none other than Sakura, our client from the job we had taken. What the hell does she think she's doing?

"Sakura?! What the hell are you doing?!" I yell angrily at her. She evily smirks at me. I glared at her.

"Thanks for the spell you decoded for me! I didn't want to test it on me just yet, so you're little friend Lucy was a great test subject!" She laughs evily. I glared at her again, then looked down at Lucy.

"How dare you call Lucy a test subject?!" My fist started to go up in flames. She just shook her head.

"Don't you dare! I'll kill you!" She yelled. She then placed both her hands above her head, and froze her hands. What's she up to now?

"Ice dragons iron fist!" She yelled. What?! She's a dragon slayer?! I quickly dodged her attack.

"Fire dragon roar!" I yelled as flames came out of my mouth. She dodged my attack and went strait for Lucy.

"Stay away from her, you bastard!" I yell as I run strait towards her. She looked back up at me and smirked.

"Try me." She replied. My fists, already in flames lunged at her and hit her. I know you're not alowed to hit a girl but this was serious. She coughed out blood and healed herself. How can she do that?! Only Wendy would be able to do that!

"Heheheh! Do you think you can really beat me?" She asked miraculously. She then lunged at me and punched me right in the face. I punched her in the gut at the same time.

"You're not a bad fighter, Sakura."

"Not bad yourself either, Natsu." We said to each other before returning to fight.

"Fire dragons talons!" I shouted.

"Ice dragons devouring fang!" Sakura yelled. An ice shaped dragon fang apeared before me and bit me on the leg and I immediately fell to the ground.

"W-what kind of dragon slayer are you?" I asked, tightly grasping onto my right leg.

"I'm a second generation. Now get out of my way, or else I'll kill you." She threatened. More pain rushed to my leg and Sakura was aproaching Lucy. I need to save Lucy! I have to!

Authors Note:Hai guys! Sakura's evil?! If u guys were wondering where I got the idea of Sakura being an Ice Dragon Slayer, I got the idea from one of my recently deleted fanfics, The Ice Dragon. Anyway, Natsu's gotta save Lucy! The picture is Natsu and Zeref from opening 9. That's the only pic I had of them. I'm not really that good at writing fight scenes but ya know, I still like writing fight scenes! So, you still want me to do a sequel? Well now's the time to say so because I only have 4 more chapters left in this. (I might do the sequel anyway.) Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go watch Attack on Titan now! Bai guys! Pinky out!
