Chapter 6

Chapter 6: 10 years later*

Boruto pouted as he stood beside his 'Dad'. "Dad, why are we just standing here?" Boruto asked. Naruto flinched at the word 'Dad', but made no move to correct him.

"We're welcoming the Kazekage." Naruto said simply. Boruto rose a brow. He looked at the line of villagers that had lined up on the sides of the gates.

The two Uzumakis stood at the end, but they were in the middle. "Dad, when is Mom coming back?" Boruto asked. "She is coming soon." Naruto said, smiling gently at his son. 

"There they are!" One villager announced. The Kazekage walked with pride. His hat was around his neck, and his robe wrapped around him securely. 

Naruto's hat was the same, but his robe was opened and flowed behind him. The older Uzumaki watched as Gaara walked down the aisle. Well, pathway.

Gaara's daughter stood beside him, an emotionless expression on her face. When Gaara reached the two blondes, Naruto turned slightly and Gaara faced him.

They stood in front of each other sideways. "Naruto." Gaara said. "Gaara. It's been a while." Naruto said with a smile. 

"This is Aria." Gaara said. The little girl looked exactly like Gaara. Aria bowed. She had the same scars as Boruto. 

"Think it's time we told them?" Naruto whispered. "Yes." Gaara said. They turned back to face the crowd. Bright smiles on their faces.

"As you all know, Konohagakure and Sunagakure has a treaty. But, what some of the newer generation don't know, is that our two villagers are connected because of something else. Long ago, when Kushina Uzumaki had me, the Fourth Kazekage brought Gaara and presented him to the Third Hokage. The two made an alliance using us. It was said that we would marry, and our child or children would seal the deal. And so, I would like to introduce my husband and the father of my two children, Boruto Uzumaki-Sabaku and Aria Uzumaki-Sabaku." Naruto announced.

Boruto's jaw dropped. "Nani?!" He yelled. "It's a shame you don't remember me, Bolt." Gaara said. "Especially since you forced him to kiss me at the festival when you were two." Naruto said.

Aria stayed silent. "So, you're my Mom?" She asked. "That is correct." Naruto said. "I could live with that. But, does this make him my brother?" Aria asked, pointing to Boruto. "Yes." Gaara said. 

"This isn't possible! The Hokage is my Dad, not the Kazekage! It's not possible! If this is some kind of joke, stop it!" Boruto yelled. "This isn't a joke Boruto! If it was, then I wouldn't be pregnant with twins right now!" Naruto yelled.

The blonde soon covered his mouth again. Gaara's eyes widened as he looked at Naruto. Boruto stared at Naruto. "So that's why you're always throwing up." He said. 

Gaara blinked. "Again? Seriously?" He dead panned. "Hey! It's all your fault!" Naruto said as he pouted, his feminine side was coming back. "You're such a child." Gaara said with a small smile. "And you love me for it." Naruto said.

"Of course." Gaara said, giving his husband a peck on the lips. Naruto blushed. "Um, anyway. Wanna spend some time together, Aria?" Naruto asked with a warm smile. "I would love to, Mom." Aria said. 

Naruto grabbed Aria's hand and took her to Ichiraku's Ramen. Boruto stared after them and then look up at his supposedly father. 

Gaara was looking after them with a fond look. "Can we hang out too, Dad?" Boruto asked quietly. "Of course we can, Bolt." Gaara said. 

Boruto grinned before dragging his Dad away.

The Uzumaki-Sabaku family were reunited again.
