What happens when a demon is suddenly thrown headfirst into the human world, free from the king who had ensnared him centuries ago? How do you stop seeing humans as souls ready to be harvested and consumed?

The man once known by a name forgotten to the ages, then a cursed demon, then a pop-star known as Mystery, has no idea. No idea how to move past what the past centuries as a demon have taught him. No idea how to be human.

How had she managed to talk him into this? Standing on the edge of a cliff, dressed in clothes tighter than any he had ever worn, with a strange texture that had made his skin crawl the first time he had felt it. Now that he had finally slid the suit over his skin, he didn't hate it quite as much. But that might also be due to the fact that he was standing on the edge of a cliff, staring over the edge into the crystal waters below that sparkled in the light of the afternoon sun. 

He flinched when she elbowed him in the side, peering through his lavender bangs to meet her teasing gaze. 

"Don't tell me you're scared," she purred, her hands folding together behind her back as she turned to face him. 

Mystery tried to ignore the panic that seized him by the throat as he watched her take one step back. Then another. As if she didn't know she was walking towards the edge of the cliff. Mystery's gaze flickered from where her bare feet met the ground, leaving the lush grass shadowed by the trees overhead behind as her feet found the cool stone on the edge of the cliff, slowly dragging their way up her body, trying to ease the worry in his mind. 

How had he gotten here? Not just on the edge of the cliff, wondering if this would be his demise, but even out of his apartment? This wasn't what he did. He had never done this. Cliff jumping. It had always seemed foolish to him. He wondered what the other Saja Boys would think about leaping off a cliff into the frigid water below. 

Jinu might have been convinced. He was much more likely than Mystery was. 

Abby would probably love the idea. He would laugh at Mystery for hesitating and would jump over the edge without hesitation. 

Romance would be hesitant. Mystery doubted anything would be able to convince Romance of all people to take a running leap off the edge of a bluff.

Baby wouldn't even have entertained the idea. 

Normally, he wouldn't either. And yet... Here he was.

"Suit yourself." 

"Y/N!"
