"UNNIE! NO!"
Y/N had leapt in front of Rumi without a single second of hesitation, ignoring her sister's scream. Gwi-Ma had shattered Y/N's worlds. He had dared to hurt her sister, more than Y/N had ever realised was possible. He had hurt Rumi enough. She would not let him take her. She finally had her sister back, and she wasn't going to let her go. Reaching into the Honmoon, Y/N summoned a shield, turning away from Gwi-Ma's power and seizing Rumi, pulling her sister into her arms as she lifted the shield above their heads. She would not let Gwi-Ma take away everything she had loved. This was not their end.
Rumi clung to her sister like a frightened child, pleading that they would make it out of this alive. She couldn't lose her sister. Not now. Not after she had just gotten her back. She dropped her sword to the ground, throwing her arms around her sister, squeezing her tighter than she ever had before as she started to sob, fearing what may happen.
Y/N grunted, flexing her bicep as she tried to keep the shield aloft, supporting it now with both her arm and her shoulder. She needed both hands. She couldn't do this while holding her sister.
"Y/N!"
Lifting her gaze, Y/N's eyes only widened further when she saw Jinu running towards her. His skin was still stained the colour of lilacs, his patterns visible across his skin, but his eyes were human. Jinu's chest shone with an unfamiliar blue glow, and Y/N felt a breath of relief and fear surge from her lungs, further weakening her against Gwi-Ma's fury. Jinu had his soul back. After four centuries of fighting, he was whole again. And she might not live to see it.
Y/N cried out as Gwi-Ma poured his anger into his attack, her body starting to scream as she felt the heat of his onslaught through her shield.
"Y/N!" Jinu was running towards the sisters, his heuklip falling from his head, disappearing into a puff of ash as it landed on the ground behind him. She could see the panic in his eyes and hear the desperation in his voice. And it was then that Y/N realised what he was going to do.
Y/N gritted her teeth, pushing back her shield, and turned to Rumi. "Whatever happens to me, you stay back! You keep Jinu away!"
"What?!"
Gathering what energy she had left, Y/N coiled her arm around Rumi's shoulders, pulling her back for a moment before tossing her into Juni. Y/N's strength surprised everyone as Rumi collided with Jinu, knocking them both over.
Y/N cried out as Gwi-Ma's fire burned hotter, burning her skin behind the shield. It might have protected her from death, but the heat of Gwi-Ma's attack couldn't be withheld.
"Y/N! NO!"
Y/N's face twisted into a determined glare, and she turned to where Rumi and Jinu were rising to their feet, both shaking and stumbling as they tried to figure out what to do.
"JINU! You keep my sister safe, or so help me, I will haunt you for the rest of your life!"
Jinu inhaled a shuddering breath, reaching out a hand to grip Rumi by the shoulder. His hand had moved on instinct. Y/N's demand had forced him to remain rooted on the spot, using his demon strength to hold Rumi back, keeping her away from Gwi-Ma.
"No! Jinu, let me go!"
A tear slipped from Jinu's eye as Rumi's voice broke and she clawed for her sister, screaming for him to release her. Rather than release her though, Jinu pulled Rumi towards him, locking his arms around her shoulder and stomach to keep her from breaking away from him. But even as Rumi screamed and cried for her sister, Jinu couldn't pull his eyes from Y/N. This couldn't be the end. Not yet. Not after Jinu had finally managed to break free from Gwi-Ma. Not after there was finally hope for a happy ending. This couldn't be where their story closed.
"Please... Don't do this..." Jinu didn't even know if Y/N had heard his plea. He doubted she did, not over Rumi's screams and tears. "Please, princess... Don't leave me... You can't leave!"
Y/N turned away from the two, clenching her eyes shut as she summoned her strength. Now, she relied on every memory of Rumi she had. She called on every warm feeling Jinu had given her during their years together. She would not yield. Not to Gwi-Ma. She would never yield. She would greet her death first.
Over Gwi-Ma's roar, Y/N couldn't hear her sister or Jinu's pleas for her to rise and find the last shred of strength left in her. But then, Y/N heard it.
"UNNIE! UNNIE, PLEASE!"
Hearing her sister begging for her was the final push. Somewhere deep inside her, a memory flickered to the surface. A nightmare where Rumi had feared her sister leaving. Y/N had woken Rumi and told her that no matter where she went, she would always be with Rumi. But Rumi had pleaded with her to stay by her no matter what. And Y/N had promised. In her memory Y/N found her strength and reached into the Honmoon, her hand curling around the handle of a blade as she pulled it from the magic woven together by the voices and souls of the Hunters.ย
'Sing, Agi Cheonsa. Let your light shine.'
As she knelt beneath Gwi-Ma's fury, she could have sworn she felt her mother's arms around her, silently urging her eldest to sing.ย The first tear welled in Y/N's eye as she took a breath, the coolness of the night washing over her, chasing away the heat of Gwi-Ma's fire.
Her voice began to swell in her chest, rising into the night as she remembered the lyrics her mother had taught her. A song she hadn't sung in years. A song that had been passed down from one generation of Hunters to the next.
์ด๋ ์ ๋ฐํ๋ ค
Pushing back against the fire, Y/N cried out as she forced herself to stand, turning towards Gwi-Ma. Her voice all but exploded out of her as the words flickered back into her mind, accompanied by powerful and haunting memories.ย
Y/N's voice swelled in her chest as she poured her heart out, remembering sitting outside as the moon rose, singing with her mother in the shade of their favourite tree. It was one of the few memories she had of her mother. When she had shut away her voice, the memory had faded into all but a whisper in the back of her mind. But now, the memory flooded her, warming her to the core, as she remembered dancing with her mother, spinning around and around as they sang.
The first night Y/N had been able to sing the song with her mother was the first time she had witnessed the magic and the strength of the Honmoon. She had seen her mother's soul glowing in her chest, and she had felt hers like the warmth of a fire in the dead of winter, sweeping across her body. And as the words had spilled from her lips, the Honmoon had rippled beneath her feet.

Across the stage, Jinu felt his breathing cease. He had never seen Y/N like this. Powerful. Unyielding. She rose from the flames like a phoenix, the edges of her clothes falling from her limbs like feathers, the edges turning to ash, as if telling the tale of where she had come from. Y/N rose, her voice growing louder and stronger as she lifted the sword over her head.
๊ตณ๊ฑดํ์ด์๋ฆฌ๋ก ์ด์ธ์์๊ณ ์น๋ฆฌ๋ผย
Drawing the sword in a wide arc, a beam of light shot across the stage, slicing straight through the beam of fire and rage, cutting Gwi-Ma down the centre and drawing a roar of agony from the demon king.
Y/N didn't waste a second and darted forward, clutching her shield tightly in one hand, the other gripping the handle of her sword. She would end this here and now. Gwi-Ma would never again touch those she loved.
This is what it sounds like, hey!
Taking the opening, Rumi managed to break free from Jinu, and ran to join her sister, her body shivering as she felt the souls of the fans reaching for them.ย
This is what it, this is what it, this is what it sounds like!
She could hear their voices and feel their hearts as they sang with Huntrix, their voices finding Y/N's as she ran ahead, her patterns glowing with the light of the sun and the moon as her feet left the ground, lifted by the voices behind her. Their voices became a shield against the darkness, illuminating the sisters with all the colours of the night, deflecting every attack from Gwi-Ma and his demons.
We broke into a million pieces and we can't go back, but now I'm seeing all the beauty in the broken glass!
Y/N's feet left the ground, and her weapons fell from her hands as the combined souls lifted her into the air. There was no need for a weapon as she soared into the night, her arms extended at her side like a bird's wings ready to fly.
The scars are part of me, darkness and harmony, my voice without the lies, this is what it sounds like!
One by one, Rumi, Zoey, and Mira joined Y/N, soaring up to join her as the souls of the fans formed a shield around them, carrying them higher and higher into the sky until the four girls joined together, hands and voices woven together, shining like a star in the dark.
Why did we cover up the colours stuck inside our head?ย
Get up and let the jagged edges meet the light instead!ย
Show me what's underneath, I'll find your harmony, fearless and undefined, this is what it sounds like!
Y/N had never felt so free. She felt like a bird, finally released from a cage of iron, allowing her wings to spread, untethered and uncaged. And finally, after so many years, she was with her sister. She was with Rumi.
My voice without the lies, this is what it sounds like!
The light surrounding the four girls exploded, turning Gwi-Ma to dust and ash as the new Honmoon stretched across the world, chasing away the darkness, once more trapping the demons in the underworld.
Fearless and undefined, this is what it sounds like!
Truth after all this time, our voices all combined!
When darkness meets the light, this is what it sounds like!
For the first time in forever, Y/N allowed herself to breathe. She was free.
As the girls slowly descended towards the stage, Y/N tilted her head back lifting her face to the rising sun, and tears began to fall from the corners of her eyes as she felt all her emotions come crashing down on her. Regret, shame, joy, fear, anger, love, peace, everything. Her body began to shake and she clutched Rumi's hand tightly, trying to keep herself standing as the audience cheered for Huntrix. Perhaps she should have left the stage. She wasn't a member of the band. She was just Rumi's sister.
"Unnie? Are you okay?"
Y/N started to sob, falling to her knees on the stage, hunching over as she cupped her hand over her mouth, her breath seizing in her chest, her sobs echoing across the stage. Her shoulders tensed and shuddered, her breathing was ragged, tears smeared the makeup that had somehow managed to stay on her face. She hated that she was ugly crying in the middle of a stage, surrounded by thousands of fans, but at the moment, she couldn't find the energy to care.
"Oh, unnie..." But this time, it wasn't Rumi who had used the nickname. It was Zoey.
Y/N's sobs froze immediately as Zoey knelt beside Y/N, throwing her arms around the woman and squeezing her tightly with one arm as her other hand settled on Y/N's knee. When Zoey pressed her forehead against Y/N's temple, Y/N's sobs returned, harder than they had before.
Rumi was quick to follow Zoey, kneeling behind her sister and draping herself over Y/N's back, wrapping her arms loosely around her sister's neck, hoping that her weight would calm Y/N. She had done the same thing when they were children. She had never witnessed Y/N crying as she was now, her hands clawing at the stage beneath them, her nails marking the floor, her voice hoarse from screaming and crying, her head throbbing with the might of a hurricane. But Rumi knew her sister. When they had been little girls, Rumi would drape herself over her sister, hugging her tight whenever she thought that her sister might cry. And it had always worked.
But it wasn't until Mira joined their messy huddle, wrapping one arm around Rumi, another around Zoey, and pressed her forehead to Y/N's, that Y/N's sobs finally eased. As the love of the girls around her warmed her skin, Y/N's weeping began to cease. The girls whispered quietly to Y/N, apologising for everything that had happened, and telling her that she was a part of them. She was a part of their family now. As fractured and jagged as it was, she was as much a sister to Mira and Zoey as Rumi was.
As the girls slowly rose to their feet, Y/N leaning on Rumi as she tried to stave off the exhaustion, Jinu watched from the shadows of the stage. No longer did he resemble a demon, besides bearing the patterns that were identical to Rumi and Y/N's. They were no longer a sickening purple. Now, they were a holographic rainbow that rippled with each breath, as if the patterns themselves were alive. Jinu knew he would always remember his mother and sister, and feel a lingering regret that he had chosen to leave them behind, but now, he could live with it. It wouldn't control him. Instead, he would grow. Now, he could move past it and begin to heal. Just as Y/N and Rumi would. His patterns were proof enough of that.
Jinu remained in the shadows as Huntrix addressed the audience, resisting the urge to go to Y/N. Jinu longed to hold Y/N and tell her everything that he feared he wouldn't have a chance to say, but he held himself back. Would she want to see him now? They were both free. But things had been said that couldn't be unsaid. Y/N had felt shame for loving Jinu after everything he had done. Did she still feel the same way now?
Sighing, Jinu moved further into the shadows, making his way down the stairs at the back of the stage. There had been no stage crew for the performance, so backstage was clear. Not a single person could be found, save for Jinu, as he wandered through the tunnels, fighting the urge to turn around and run to Y/N. He knew she would need time. They both would. This night had been a lot for both of them, and Jinu doubted that even if Y/N forgave him for everything he had done, Huntrix might be less forgiving. Rumi would likely be the most understanding out of the three, but Zoey and Mira? It was doubtful.
A sudden weight against the back of his leg caught his attention and Jinu turned, chuckling when he noticed a familiar hulking tiger with too-big fangs standing behind him, its bird companion perched atop its head. Jinu gave the tiger and bird a small smile, stretching out his hand to pet the tiger as it bumped its head against his thigh. "So you two managed to escape too?" He was happy that they had. Even if Y/N declared she never wanted to see him again, at least he would have them. They might prefer Y/N's company to his, but they always came back to him.
He pulled his hand away from the tiger and started walking again, unsure of where he would go now. He didn't have any money or connections beyond Y/N and the Saja Boys, and he doubted she would want him to stay with her after tonight.
But before he could disappear, a voice stopped him.
"You were just going to leave? Without saying goodbye?"
Jinu stilled, his feet frozen, his body tense. He couldn't turn to face her. Not after everything that had happened. He knew that if he saw her now, he wouldn't be able to control himself. He would run straight to her, throwing caution to the wind, just for a chance to tell her everything.
"So you weren't going to tell me you managed to escape? You were going to leave me hoping that Gwi-Ma hadn't pulled you back?" Y/N gave a humourless laugh, glaring at Jinu's back as he clenched his fists, still refusing to look at her. "Had it not been for the bird, I never would have โ" Y/N's words died on her lips, her frown disappearing in an instant when she noticed Jinu's body begin to shake. She stood, frozen, watching as Jinu lifted a hand to cover his mouth, desperately trying to conceal his sobs, digging his nails into his palm as he tried to focus on something other than his despair.
"Jinu..." Y/N took a cautious step towards Jinu, wondering if he would run. When he didn't, she took another. Then another. "Jinu, what..." Y/N now stood behind Jinu, mere inches from his back, watching with a heartbroken expression as Jinu sobbed, his entire body shaking. He still refused to look at her. But now, Y/N understood.
Jinu was terrified. Her words before had been spoken in anger and fear. He didn't know if she had meant anything of what she had said. Did she love him? Did she feel shame for loving him if she did? Where did her feelings lie?
Sighing, Y/N lifted her hands, coiling them slowly around Jinu's torso, pulling herself towards him as she pressed her forehead to his back, nuzzling him softly as her eyes fluttered shut. His cries grew silent almost instantly, his body tensing at her touch. What did this mean?
"I love you, Jinu."
Jinu jerked, pulling himself out of her arms. Y/N gasped, expecting Jinu to storm off, and had half of an objection on her lips before she was suddenly silenced by Jinu returning her embrace, pulling her body completely flush against his as he buried his face in her neck, hugging her so tightly that Y/N wondered if he feared she might disappear.
Y/N returned his hug in a heartbeat, throwing her arms around his neck, her fingers coiling around the fabric of his robe, gripping it so tightly that she threatened to rip it. Tears began to pour from her eyes once more, this time silent and peaceful as she hid away from the world, burying herself into Jinu's shoulder, inhaling the smell of him. The smell he always should have had.
The two stayed tangled in each other's embrace for what felt like hours, neither one wanting to pull away from the other. Jinu threaded one hand through Y/N's hair as he held her close, whispering into her skin as he apologised for everything that had happened. Y/N held him just the same, both relying on the other to stay standing while simultaneously trying not to fall into a pile of tears right there in the tunnels.
"I love you so much, Jinu," Y/N whispered. "Please don't go..."
Jinu held Y/N a little tighter, his fingers splaying across her side as he pulled her into him, inhaling deeply for the first time in centuries. "I'm not going anywhere, princess. How can I?" He smiled, his lips pressing the shape into Y/N's neck like a promise. "My heart and soul belong to you. I'll stay with you until the end."

ONE WEEK LATER
โกโโขโ๐ถโโขโโก
Rumi let out a relieved sigh as she sank beneath the water, her entire body relaxing as the hot water engulfed her, warming her more than she had imagined it would. For the first time, she and Y/N had accepted an invitation from Mira and Zoey to join them in their favourite bathhouse. And though Y/N had experienced bathhouses before, it was nothing compared to being there with her sisters. She felt as though she might slip beneath the water right then and there, falling into a deep slumber as her body and mind relaxed for the first time in ages.
"Wow," Rumi groaned, leaning her head back against the edge of the bath. "This feels amazing."
Y/N hummed, voicing her agreement.
"We've been saying that for years," Mira said, her voice slow and relaxed as she gave Rumi a teasing glare that the lavender-haired girl didn't notice. Mira glanced over at Y/N, smirking at the girl, who chuckled softly, her eyes fluttering shut as she enjoyed the sensation of the water rolling across her skin. It had been ages since she had last gone to a bathhouse, seeing as how she didn't really have anyone to go with. It certainly was better with friends, especially ones that had adopted you as their older sister.
"Right," Zoey exclaimed. "See what you've been missing?"
"Oh, yeah," Rumi sighed, drawing a small giggle from her sister. "I wanna come here every day of our three-month hiatus."
The girls were silent for a long while, simply enjoying each other's company and the silence of the bathhouse. There were a few other women in the bathhouse, but they were all busy, lost in their own conversations and not paying an ounce of attention to the four girls.
But then, the silence was broken as Zoey's mind started to wander. "Rumi, I'm so happy you didn't, like, die."
Mira smirked. "Wow, Zoey, way to be super literal. But same."
Zoey lifted her head from the edge of the bath, tears starting to trickle from the corners of her eye. "I just... You guys just mean so much to me, and I don't really know what I'd do without you..."
In a matter of seconds, the three Huntrix girls were in tears, sobbing about how much they loved each other, as the eldest and newest addition to their group just laughed, loving every moment she spent with these girls. In the week that had passed since their fight against Gwi-Ma, she had become an older sister to the girls in every way possible.
Immediately following the attack, the girls had decided to retreat to Y/N's apartment rather than returning home to their penthouse, wanting to hide away from the world for a little while before they stepped back into their life. They had spent a night in Y/N's apartment, curled up together in Y/N's guest room, hardly able to keep their eyes open long enough to thank Y/N for giving them a place to stay. They had extended an invitation for Y/N to stop by their penthouse anytime she wanted. And in the days since then, Y/N had been summoned to their apartment for things like binge-watching turtle videos, sharing a warm meal with her new sisters, or tending to their wounds because one of them refused to do it themselves. She was their older sister in every way possible.
Even now, as they sat in the bathhouse, sobbing to each other, they found themselves drifting towards Y/N, seeking the comfort of their sister, who was the only one who had managed to stave off crying. She had done her crying in front of thousands of people a few days before, and was tired of crying. Her tears of affection for the girls would come later, when it finally hit her that she now had a family, one larger than it had ever been. Instead of one little sister, she now had three to look after and dote on.
All too soon, their time in the bathhouse came to an end, and the girls rose from the baths, dried themselves off, and dressed in their comfiest clothes before heading out. Rather than taking a limo, the girls had decided to walk to the bathhouse, taking the back streets with directions from Y/N. And now, they were headed back to the Huntrix penthouse, for another long movie night with tons of junk food and snuggles.
Y/N was the only one not chanting "couch, couch, couch" as they made their way down the street, smiling at the girls as she followed behind them, her hands tucked into her pockets as she strolled down the alley.
Had you asked her a month ago if she had thought this would be her future, she would have said no. Reconnecting with her sister, and finding two new sisters in the girls that would have killed her a month earlier had it not been for everything that happened at Namsan Tower? That was unlikely. And yet, it had happened. It felt as though Y/N had always been there, watching the girls every step of the way, feeling a sense of pride in their accomplishments as they continued to rise.
In a way, she had been there the entire time. She had been focused on Rumi, but she had grown to care for Zoey and Mira almost as much. They had become her sisters without her realising it. And now, they returned her affection wholeheartedly. Rumi spent nearly every possible moment with her, making up for the years they had lost, and Y/N took every opportunity to dote on her sister. Zoey often called Y/N in the middle of the night now, whenever she was suffering from anxiety or a nightmare, and Y/N always took the time to answer, no matter what time of day it was. And Mira had taken to reaching out to Y/N whenever she was in need of a place to belong. Y/N had learned more about Mira's family in the past few days, and was happy to fill the hole that Mira's family had torn in her. She held the girls together as much as they held her together. She simply fit.
The group suddenly stopped at the end of the alley, and Y/N peered around the girls, smiling when she saw a trio of teenage girls a little ways in front of them, wearing Huntrix merchandise, and hopping around excitedly at something on one of the girls' phones. Y/N couldn't help but smile.
"You know, those three remind me of another trio I know." She leaned forward to poke Rumi in the cheek. "I think you three can handle this on your own."
Zoey pouted, clutching Y/N's arm and starting up at the woman with the biggest eyes Y/N had ever seen. "Don't leave, unnie! You promised we would have another movie night tonight!"
Y/N smiled, leaning forward to press a quick kiss to Zoey's forehead. "We can always postpone, Zoey." She turned to Rumi, looping her arm over her sister's shoulders as she gestured in the direction of the girls. "And something tells me you might be a while. I'll stop by tomorrow and we can have our movie night then, okay?" She winked at Zoey. "I'll bring the tiger along for extra cuddles."
Zoey cheered, appeased with the promise of the demon tiger that had somewhat been adopted by their patchwork family.
"You sure you'll be okay," Rumi asked, taking Y/N's hand before the girl could get too far. Rumi always asked now, still fearing that Y/N might disappear from her life again. "We can meet you back at the pentโ"
Y/N pressed her finger to Rumi's lips. "Don't worry, Rumi. I'm not going anywhere. I had to suffer without you for ten years, I'm not leaving now." She leaned forward, pressing a kiss to Rumi's hairline. "I'll call you girls tonight, okay? And I'll see you tomorrow for our movie night."
Rumi sighed and nodded, throwing her arms around her sister and squeezing her tight. "Love you, unnie."
Y/N smiled, returning Rumi's hug. "Love you too, Rumi." She gave her sister one last kiss atop her curls before releasing her.
Zoey and Rumi made their way to the end of the street, allowing Mira and Y/N to have some privacy together. Unbeknownst to Zoey and Rumi, Mira had actually asked Y/N to join them in hopes that she might be able to talk with Y/N in private for a bit about some things that had been on her mind. And though Y/N knew postponing the movie night was inconsequential, she worried that Mira's anxiety might be too severe to postpone a discussion.
"Will you be okay tonight, Mira?"
Mira sighed, inhaling a shaky breath. "I think so."
Y/N reached out, setting her hand on Mira's shoulder, gently caressing Mira's skin through her shirt as she tried to comfort the girl. "If you need to talk, I can still come over."
Mira shook her head, smiling. "No. I honestly think I'll be okay."
"Good. But if anything changes, you know all you need to do is call."
Mira nodded and wrapped her arms around Y/N, squeezing her tightly. And ever so quietly, she whispered, "Thanks, unnie."
Running her hands through Mira's hair, Y/N's smile widened, squeezing the girl a little tighter, before releasing her to join her friends.
As the girls stepped out into the sun, Y/N watched them from the alley, folding her arms together as they caught the attention of the teens, who immediately started squealing. Y/N couldn't blame them.
But Y/N soon turned and left, not wanting to be caught by paparazzi this early on in her career. She had quit her job at the cafe, and had decided to join Huntrix as a vocalist with her sister. Bobby had been the one to suggest the idea after hearing Rumi and Y/N sing together, and the idea had spread like wildfire. Nearly everywhere she looked, Y/N saw her face splashed across billboards and TVs, all showing the same cover of Huntrix' new album. Y/N and Rumi stood in the centre, their bodies turned towards each other as they met the camera's gaze, with Zoey standing directly behind Rumi, Mira standing behind Y/N, with the words 'Comeback Huntrix' printed across the top.
In a matter of months, Y/N would be a pop-star, just like her sister. But for right now, she was just Y/N. A half-demon girl, the daughter of a Hunter, and a regular young woman who wished nothing more than the best for those around her.
Dipping her hand into her pocket, Y/N fished out her phone. She unlocked the phone as the screen illuminated her face, and pressed the call button for a recently added number. The soul on the other end picked up after only a single ring.
"Hey, princess."
Y/N smiled again. "Hey." Her voice was soft as she spoke, allowing the person on the other end to see a side of her that he had rarely seen until now. She had never allowed herself to be as soft as she felt now, her voice like a gentle whisper on a summer breeze as she asked, "You busy?"
"I'm never too busy for you, princess. What's up?"
"The girls and I decided to postpone our movie night." She hesitated for a teasing second before adding, "I miss you."
There was a long pause on the other end of the line, followed by a voice so gentle it nearly melted Y/N right there in the street. "I miss you, too, Y/N. Are you on your way home?"
'Home.' The word meant so much more to her now that she had someone to go home to. Now, her home held a warmth she couldn't describe. It felt full of love and laughter, as if the presence of another had filled a hole she hadn't even noticed was there "Yeah."
"I can't wait. You wanna watch a movie again?"
Y/N nodded, even though he couldn't see her. "You pick this time."
"Are you sure? I thought you had a list of movies you wanted to show me."
"I'm sure, sweetie. Pick one."
"Okay. I'll get everything ready."
"Even my pajamas," Y/N smirked, turning down the street that would take her back to her apartment. She was already giddy with excitement.
There was a sigh on the other end of the line. "Yes. Even your ridiculous teddy-bear, choo-choo train pajamas."
"Yours too. I got those for you so we could match, remember?" But her teasing faded immediately after, and her smile settled into place again. "I'll be home soon, okay? Love you."
"I love you, too."

So.... I lied! Happy ending! I'm sorry for leaving you all thinking that I was going to kill off the mc but I can't resist a good cliffhanger.
Wait! Before you leave, I have a few things to say. First of all, we're not done yet! This may be the final chapter of the story, but there's still a few more "chapters" to come. Something fluffy and cozy for all the heartbreak we've gone through with this movie. I'm going to be adding a few epilogues/side stories/one shots, whatever you want to call them, because I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to this story just yet. I won't be posting them as frequently as the other chapters because I am working on other stories as well, but don't shelf this story just yet, because there is still more coming! If there are any scenarios you'd like me to consider, feel free to comment!
Side note, I do also have a one shot book that I've started writing in, so if anyone wants any one shots with characters from Kpop Demon Hunters, feel free to comment!
Honestly, I can't believe I finished the story this quickly. I think this is the most fun I've ever had writing a story ever. I didn't put too much pressure on myself for this one, thinking that it wouldn't draw much attention, and just wrote whatever I wanted. I hope you enjoyed reading this story as much as I enjoyed writing it!
Also, as I said earlier, we are not done with this fandom yet! I have more ideas for other characters, and will be posting teaser chapters for the upcoming stories in this story, so make sure to stick around for those! At this point in time I plan to write a story for the rest of the Saja Boys, because I adore them and want to give them all a happy ending. Baby's story is going to be released on Sunday (July 13th), so if you're interested please stick around for that!
